Nickelodeon UK to Premiere 'Unfiltered' on Saturday 5th September 2020

Comedian and actor Jay Pharoah (Saturday Night Live, 2 Minutes of Fame), will host Nickelodeon’s Unfiltered (previously Game Face). The remotely produced six-episode game show features panelists Darci Lynne and All That’s Lex Lumpkin and Gabrielle Nevaeh Green, who must guess the identities of virtually disguised celebrity guests.

Nickelodeon’s Unfiltered will launch on Nickelodeon UK & Ireland with the first two episodes, "Pizza In Your Game Face!" (series premiere) and "Zombies Eat Unicorns!", premiering Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th September 2020 at 9:30am. Following launch, new episodes will continue to premiere Saturdays at 9:30am.

Said Pharoah, “As a person who likes to transform and play multiple characters, I always love a good disguise and I can’t wait to see which panelist will be able to figure out our guests’ identities. Nickelodeon’s Unfiltered is going to be an outrageously good time, and we have some big names and surprises that you really won’t want to miss!”


Each episode of Nickelodeon’s Unfiltered will feature celebrity guests whose true identities are hidden behind an animated 3D filter and voice changer, while the panel deciphers the mystery through rounds of Q&A, wacky trivia and hilarious game competitions. The first panelist to guess the star hiding behind the filter wins the round. Viewers can get in on the fun by downloading the show’s filters to transform into the same digital characters as their favorite celebrities.

Nickelodeon’s Unfiltered follows the success of the remotely produced series Group Chat with Annie and Jayden, hosted by Side Hustle co-stars Annie LeBlanc and Jayden Bartels.

Nickelodeon’s Unfiltered is executive produced by Pharoah and Shaina Farrow (Special Skills). Ben Pluimer (Legendary Dudas) also serves as executive producer. Production for Nickelodeon is overseen by Ashley Kaplan, Senior Vice President, Digital Studios; Luke Wahl, Vice President, Digital Studios; and Paul J Medford, Vice President, Unscripted Current Series.

Nickelodeon’s Unfiltered made its world debut on Nickelodeon USA on Saturday, July 11, 2020.

Pharoah was a regular on Saturday Night Live for six seasons from 2010-16, where he was known for impressions of Barack Obama, Kanye West and others. His recent credits include feature films 2 Minutes of Fame and Bad Hair and the IMDB series Special Skills.

Danger Force Introduces New Superhero Cast, Features Original Henry Danger Cast Members Cooper Barnes and Michael D. Cohen Reprising Their Fan-Favorite Roles

Nickelodeon is expanding the world of the number-one kids’ series, Henry Danger, with the launch of Danger Force, a brand-new original live-action spinoff premiering Friday 4th September 2020 on Nickelodeon UK & Ireland. Created and executive produced by Christopher J. Nowak (Henry Danger, Sam & Cat), the new series stars two of the most beloved characters from Henry Danger, “Ray/Captain Man” (Cooper Barnes) and “Schwoz” (Michael D. Cohen), and introduces four new superheroes-in-training as they team up to fight crime in their town of Swellview. Danger Force (13 episodes) is produced by Barnes and Jace Norman (Henry Danger), and production for the series is currently underway.


“A key part of our content strategy is to grow original franchises like Henry Danger by expanding their worlds through new characters and more high-stakes adventures,” said Brian Robbins, President, Kids & Family Entertainment, ViacomCBS Domestic Media Networks. “We’re spinning off our Henry Danger mega-hit into Danger Force, where a new set of characters join members of the original cast for a wholly new take on this long-running series.”


In Danger Force, four kids--Chapa (Havan Flores), Miles (Terrence Little Gardenhigh), Mika (Dana Heath) and Bose (Luca Luhan)--are recruited to attend Swellview Academy for the Gifted (SW.A.G. for short), a school conceived by Captain Man and brought to life by Schwoz, after having been accidentally mutated in the fight to save Swellview. While there, the kids must learn to harness their frequently troublesome and sometimes uncontrollable superpowers as they begin to fight crime. Despite the dangerous circumstances of their new lives, the superheroes must keep their real identities a secret from both from their families and the villains who are out to destroy them.

Danger Force’s four brand-new superheroes-in-training were introduced in the final episodes of Henry Danger. Henry Danger is Nick’s longest running live-action sitcom, with 128 episodes across five seasons. For 2019 and year to date, the series is the number-one show for Kids 6-11 on all TV.

Production of Danger Force is overseen for Nickelodeon by Shauna Phelan, Senior Vice President, Live-Action Scripted Content. Omar Camacho serves as Nickelodeon’s Executive in Charge of Production for the series.

Danger Force made its world premiere on Nickelodeon USA on Saturday, March 28, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT).

Danger Force underscores a key element of Nickelodeon's content strategy, to build and expand the worlds of its enormously popular franchises like Henry Danger, SpongeBob SquarePants, and Blue's Clues & You!, among others, to give audiences more of what they love. HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—August 27, 2020—Nickelodeon has ordered an additional six episodes of its remotely produced talk show Group Chat and seven episodes of its game show Nickelodeon’s Unfiltered. Social media star Brent Rivera, who has amassed over 73 million followers across his social media platforms, joins current co-host Jayden Bartels for Group Chat with Jayden and Brent. Rivera also serves as executive producer on the series. Nickelodeon’s Unfiltered will return with new episodes beginning Saturday, Sept. 5, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT), followed by the premiere of Group Chat with Jayden and Brent at 8:30 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon.

Group Chat with Jayden and Brent is a video chat rundown of the week’s latest hot topics, taken directly from what kids love and are talking about across social media. Each episode introduces audiences to different celebrity guests as they play games and give viewers insight into their lives. Celebrity guests who have appeared to date include: Ben Simmons, Anna Cathcart, Alex Wassabi, Peyton List and Johnny Orlando, as well as cast members of The Kissing Booth 2 (Joel Courtney, Joey King, Maisie Richardson-Sellers and Taylor Zakhar Perez) and Feel the Beat (Sofia Carson and Wolfgang Novogratz).

In Nickelodeon’s Unfiltered, hosted by actor and comedian Jay Pharoah, panelists Lex Lumpkin and Gabrielle Nevaeh Green from All That, along with America’s Got Talent winner Darci Lynne, must guess the identities of virtually disguised celebrity guests, who are hidden behind an animated 3D filter and voice changer. The panel works to decipher the mystery through rounds of Q&A, wacky trivia and hilarious game competitions. Mystery guests who have appeared to date include Chance the Rapper, David Dobrik, Iain Armitage (Young Sheldon), Liza Koshy (Double Dare), All That alum Gabriel Iglesias, Asher Angel and Candance Cameron Bure.

The first season of Group Chat, which Bartels co-hosted with Annie LeBlanc, debuted May 23 and ranked as the number-one unscripted live-action show on cable with kids 6-11 in the second quarter of 2020. Nickelodeon’s Unfiltered premiered on July 11 and is currently the number-one ranked unscripted live-action show across all TV with kids 6-11 to date.

PAW Patrol to 'Jet To The Rescue' in New Made-For-TV Movie

The PAW Patrol are set to Jet To The Rescue in their third made-for-TV movie!


In Paw Patrol: Jet To The Rescue, the Super Pups must defend Barkingburg from the Duke of Flappington, who has acquired the power of a mighty levitation gem!

The movie's synopsis reads: "Get Ready to zoom back to Barkingburg with the pups in this all-new movie! When the scheming Duke of Flappington steals a powerful levitation gem from the royal castle and uses its magical powers to raise Barkingburg into the clouds, Skye will need to overcome her biggest fears and lead the team in their biggest aerial rescue yet! Can PAW Patrol JET TO THE RESCUE and save the town before it is lost in the sky forever?" (#993)

In the U.S., Paramount Home Entertainment and Nickelodeon Home Entertainment will release Paw Patrol: Jet To The Rescue on DVD on Tuesday, September 8, 2020, and will most likely be followed by a TV premiere later in the year. The 88-minute DVD will carry an SRP of $16.99, and will feature the TV movie and and four bonus high-flying adventures.

Paw Patrol: Jet To The Rescue will premiere on Nickelodeon on Friday, September 25, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. (ET/PT)!


Internationally, Paramount Pictures will release Paw Patrol: Jet To The Rescue theatrically, including in cinemas across Australia from Thursday, September 10, 2020 and New Zealand from Thursday, September 24, 2020. Tuesday 15th September 2020 - Peppy's True Talent: Peppy iwants to become a circus artist just like her uncles Milky and Choc. Despite several attempts, Peppy can't perform as she wants. The Buffycats are ready to help!

Wednesday 16th September 2020 - Terry, the Firefighter Cat: Terry the pug, believing himself to be a cat, wants to become the firefighters' cat and does his very best in several situations to prove his bravery.

Thursday 17th September 2020 - A Very Special Girl!: Granny Pina is anxious and busy, because a very special guest is coming to visit: her granddaughter Isotta. The cats discover that young girl can talk to animals!

Friday 18th September 2020 - The Mystery of the Ghost Cat: Word has spread out that there's a ghost cat in town. A presence may be haunting the neighbourhood! This is definitely a mystery the Buffycats want to solve.

Monday 21st September 2020 - The Flying Treasure Hunt: Competitors must move without touching the ground to reach the final treasure. Meatball is happy to compete, but will he manage to prove he is a real flying cat?

Tuesday 22nd September 2020 - Sir Lamp, the Great Golfer: Lampo is excluded from the golf tournament organized by Boss. So, disguised as great golfer Sir Lamp, he challenges Boss to show him that golf is for everycat.

Ultimate Camp-In Keeps Kids Affected by Childhood Cancer Connected

Northwestern Mutual and Lollipop Theater Network create unforgettable experience with the help of SpongeBob SquarePants and other celebrity camp counselors


MILWAUKEE, Sept. 2, 2020 -- Research1 shows that summer camps for kids with pediatric cancer can strengthen social skills and self-esteem and facilitate moments of needed respite. Northwestern Mutual, through its Foundation and in collaboration with Lollipop Theater Network, recently hosted The Ultimate Camp-In, a one-of-a-kind at-home virtual camp experience bringing together hundreds of children and families affected by childhood cancer. Complete with star power from camp "counselors," the Ultimate Camp-In was a memorable day of connection and carefree adventure for families facing similar challenges.

By collaborating with Lollipop Theater Network, a non-profit dedicated to bringing movies and entertainment to children in hospitals due to chronic or life-threatening illnesses, the pastime of camp was transformed into a virtual experience enjoyed in homes across the country, creating connection in the age of social distancing.

The event kicked off Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, a time to support those affected, while also raising awareness and funds for research and cures. Children had the chance to meet the iconic voice of SpongeBob SquarePants, they also caught a sneak peek of a never-before-seen trailer of the upcoming movie, The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run, and excitedly asked Tom Kenny questions about what it's like to be a Nickelodeon celebrity.


The Ultimate Camp-In also featured live activities with other celebrities, from ballet lessons with International Prima Ballerina and NYC Ballet Principal Dancer Tiler Peck and a magic show and mindreading session with David Kwong, to drawing their favorite characters with Nickelodeon animators and decorating cupcakes with actress Monique Coleman of High School Musical fame and Cake Camp's Julie Gordon. Campers also enjoyed story time, making s'mores and joining other activities families know and love from traditional outdoor camps.

"As with our past camp events, this year's Ultimate Camp-In was rewarding and inspiring, and we feel fortunate to safely unite families impacted by childhood cancer virtually," said Eric Christophersen, president of the Northwestern Mutual Foundation. "The pandemic has forced many traditions and in-person experiences to be postponed or canceled - but we remain committed to doing our part and creating community for these special families, something that is more important than ever. To provide a fun camp escape for these children and parents, even for a day, was an honor."


Peyton Richardson, a dynamic 18-year-old childhood cancer survivor joined as Camp-In emcee. No stranger to the trials and tribulations families undergo while on a childhood cancer journey, Richardson brought perspective and hope to the event, which connected children currently fighting cancer, survivors, siblings and loved ones who often lack supportive communities that understand their treatment and emotional needs.

"We were thrilled to partner with the Northwestern Mutual Foundation in order to create fun, interactive experiences for pediatric patients and their families amid these challenging times," said Evelyn Iocolano, executive director and co-founder of Lollipop Theater Network. "It was such an inspiring day, and in true Lollipop Theater Network fashion, delivered an escape for patients and their families to learn new skills and create lifelong memories!"


Running back Aaron Jones of the Green Bay Packers also stopped by to say hello as part of an ongoing partnership between the Northwestern Mutual Foundation and the Green Bay Packers' and the new My Cause My Cleats collaboration. Jones invited attendees to design a pair of cleats for him to wear this season. The collaboration is part of an annual NFL-wide effort in which hundreds of players wear customized cleats designed to showcase causes that are important to them during the same game week.

Northwestern Mutual launched its Childhood Cancer Program in 2012 to find better treatments and cures, provide family and patient support and aid those who struggle with the long-term effects of treatment. The program has contributed more than $30 million with the help of its employees and financial advisors nationwide and has funded more than 400,000 hours of research. Όσο η ζωή τούς συνεχίζεται, γνωρίζουν τον δισεκατομμυριούχο Benton Dusk, o οποίος ανακαλύπτει έναν μυστικό κόσμο τον «Λαβύρινθο» όπου ζουν όλα τα Bakugans. BURBANK, Calif.–Aug. 31, 2020–Family, friendship and fashionable fun drive Nickelodeon’s brand-new animated preschool series, Made by Maddie (formerly Fashion Ally), premiering Sunday, Sept. 13, at 11 a.m. (ET/PT) on the Nick Jr. channel. Created by Paula Rosenthal and produced by Silvergate Media (Sunny Day, Peter Rabbit, The Octonauts, Hilda), the series (22 half-hour episodes) follows 8-year-old Maddie in New York City, as she uses her imagination and design ingenuity to turn every problem into a positive with the perfect fashion fix. Made by Maddie will continue to air regularly Sundays at 11 a.m.(ET/PT) on the Nick Jr. channel.

Throughout the season, Made by Maddie will feature guest voice appearances by: Karamo Brown (Queer Eye); Rhyon Nicole Brown (Empire); Danny Burstein (Broadway’s Moulin Rouge!); David Burtka (Professional Chef); Monét X Change (RuPaul’s Drag Race); Joey Fatone (*NSYNC); Griffin Robert Faulkner (Raising Dion); Nina Garcia (Project Runway); Joy Lynn Jacobs (The Blacklist); Claudia Morcate-Martin (Seneca); Wanya Morris (Boyz II Men); Christine Pedi (Steven Universe); Christiani Pitts (Broadway’s King Kong); Al Roker (TODAY); D’Angelo Russell (Minnesota Timberwolves); Horatio Sanz (Black Monday); and Nico Tortorella (Younger).


Made by Maddie centers on Maddie (Alyssa Cheatham, Santiago of the Seas), a quick-thinking little girl with a big personality and a huge heart, who has a passion for fashion. Maddie finds design inspiration around every corner and her big ideas couldn’t become a reality without the love and support of her aspirational and talented fashion designer mom, Dee (Patina Miller), and her super cool and upbeat musician dad, Rashad (James Monroe Iglehart), along with the assistance of friends and neighbors, including kind, animal-loving best friend, Jada (Sophia Torres), and the twins—rule-following Harper (Amanda Dressel) and fearless Hudson (Ames McNamara)—who are always up for adventure. Maddie’s creative thinking and dazzling designs are a reflection of the bustling, colorful city of New York and its residents. Maddie confidently embraces her own unique style, celebrates individuality, treats everyone with kindness, and encourages others to take risks and be themselves.

In the series premiere, “If the Glue Fits/Mini Me DJ,” Maddie gets her hands stuck to a pair of shoes Dee designed. Once she finally gets the shoes unstuck, she has to come up with a redesign to save the day. Then, Maddie, Dee, and her assistant Dustin design an outfit for DJ Fierce, a famous DJ. They scour the city for the perfect materials, but when a misunderstanding leads to an outfit mix-up, Maddie will have to get creative with a fashion fix.

Following the series premiere of Made by Maddie, NickJr.com and the Nick Jr. App will feature short-form content and full-length episodes. Episodes will also be available on Nick Jr. On Demand and Download-To-Own services.

Nick Jr.’s New Series ‘Made By Maddie’ Focuses On Individuality And Kindness

Nickelodeon's Nick Jr. channel has added a new animated series to their lineup, which will feature a Black family is at the forefront.
Made by Maddie premieres Sept. 13 and will follow 8-year-old Maddie, voiced by Alyssa Cheatham in her hometown of New York City. The official description describes the show as centering on “a quick-thinking little girl with a big personality and a huge heart, who has a passion for fashion… Maddie confidently embraces her own unique style, celebrates individuality, treats everyone with kindness, and encourages others to take risks and be themselves.”
