Nickelodeon UK To Premiere "Bella and the Bulldogs" On Monday 27th April 2015

The online British and Irish TV guide website Digiguide is reporting the very exciting Nick UK news that Nickelodeon UK and Ireland and Nickelodeon HD UK, the number one commercial kids TV network in the UK, will start to premiere and show Nickelodeon's brand-new original comedy series "Bella and the Bulldogs", in which a head cheerleader's life takes an unexpected twist when her rifle-like throwing arm takes her from the sidelines to becoming her middle school's starting quarterback, weekdays at 6:00pm from Monday 27th April 2015! Shabooya!

Following the episodes debut, Nick UK & Eire/HD will encore each brand-new episode the same evening at 7:30pm.

(all times plus-one hour on Nick UK's plus-one (+1) timeshift channel, Nickelodeon +1)

In Nick's new comedy ripped right out of the headlines of girls playing traditionally "boy" sports, Bella Dawson, a confident, caring and talented teenager, suddenly finds herself fulfilling a lifelong dream of becoming the star quarterback of her middle school football team but also having to navigate the world of her teammates Troy, Sawyer and Newt, without losing her two best friends, Pepper and Sophie from the cheer squad.

Executive produced by Jeff Bushell, the show was created by Nickelodeon Writing Program alumni Gabriel Garza and Jonathan Butler, who also serve as co-executive producers. Garza began his writing career by being selected for the program in 2009, where he met his future writing partner and fellow program alum Jonathan Butler. Prior to selling their pitch to Nick and beginning development on "Bella and the Bulldogs", both Butler and Garza were staff writers on "The Haunted Hathaways".

One little piggy will be going on her biggest adventure yet this April on Nick Jr. UK!

Nick Jr. UK has announced the exciting news in their new promo/trailer that Nickelodeon UK's popular preschool channel, Nick Jr. UK and Ireland, will premiere and show "Peppa Pig: The Golden Boots", Peppa Pig's first ever 15 minute special episode, in April 2015! Oink!


In the brand-new triple episode of "Peppa Pig", Peppa has lost her boots, and she'll need to travel over land, sea and air to find her Golden Boots in time for the big Puddle Jump Competition!


The online British and Irish TV guide website Digiguide is reporting that Nick Jr. UK and Ireland will premiere "Peppa Pig and The Golden Boots" on Friday 10th April 2015 at 5:15pm (replayed at 6:15pm on Nick Jr.+1)! Following the movie specials debut, Nick Jr. Too will encore "Peppa Pig - The Golden Boots" on Saturday 11th April 2015 at 10:00am and 5:30pm and on Sunday 12th April 2015 at 8:30am.

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) has announced the fantastic Nickelodeon News that Nickelodeon, one of the world's leading recognized entertainment brands for kids and families, has been nominated for 18 awards in the 2015 Daytime Emmy Awards, the 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards!

New York – March 31st, 2015 – The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) today announced the nominees for the 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy® Awards. The awards ceremony will be televised live on Pop at 8:00 p.m. EDT/5:00 p.m. PDT from the Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, CA.

"This year's Daytime Emmy Awards is shaping up to be one of our most memorable events in our forty-two year history," said Bob Mauro, President, NATAS. "With a record number of entries this year, some 350 nominees, the glamour of the historic Warner Bros. Studios lot and the live broadcast on the new Pop network, this year promises to have more 'red carpet' then at any other time in our storied-past!"

"This year's Daytime Emmy Awards promises a cornucopia of thrills and surprises," said David Michaels, Senior Vice President, Daytime. "The broadcast on Pop at the iconic Warner Bros. Studios honoring not only the best in daytime television but the incomparable, indefatigable, Betty White, will be an event like nothing we've ever done before. Add Alex Trebek and Florence Henderson as our hosts for The Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards at the Universal Hilton with Producer/Director Michael Gargiulo as our crafts lifetime achievement honoree and it will be two galas the community will remember for a long time!"

In addition to our esteemed nominees, the following six individuals were chosen from over 130 entries by a live, juried panel in Los Angeles and will be awarded the prestigious Emmy Award at our Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards on April 24, 2015.

Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation: Honorees

Jason Kolowski, Production Designer, Michael Granberry, Animator, Drew Hodges, Character Designer and Robyn Yannoukos, Lead Painter all winning for "Tumble Leaf," Amazon Instant Video.

Jairo Lizarazu, Location Designer for "Disney Jake and the Never Land Pirates," Disney Junior.

Mårten Jönmark, Storyboard Artist for "Peter Rabbit," Nickelodeon.

The Daytime Emmy Awards recognize outstanding achievement in all fields of daytime television production and are presented to individuals and programs broadcast from 2:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. during the 2014 calendar year.

The Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards gala, which honors the more than 65 craft categories behind the many shows that grace the Daytime genre, will be held at the Universal Hilton on Friday, April 24th, 2015 with a reception at 5:30 p.m.

The 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards is a presentation of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in cooperation with the Television Academy (ATAS).

NICKELODEON NAMES JENNIFER DODGE SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, WEST COAST DEVELOPMENT AND PRODUCTION, NICKELODEON PRESCHOOL


BURBANK, CALIF.–MARCH 30, 2015–Nickelodeon has named Jennifer Dodge to the newly created position of Senior Vice President, West Coast Development and Production, Nickelodeon Preschool. In this role, she will spearhead West Coast-based development of all original content for Nickelodeon Preschool's programming block and the Nick Jr. channel, as well as additional preschool platforms such as the Nick Jr. app. The announcement was made today by Russell Hicks, President, Production and Development, Nickelodeon, to whom she will report.

Dodge, who will be based in Nickelodeon's Animation Studio in Burbank, Calif., will take pitches and develop creative assignments for preschool projects. She will also be tasked with developing in-house talent, and discovering and nurturing new artists and writers in the West Coast creative community.

Prior to joining Nickelodeon, Dodge served as Vice President and Executive Producer for Spin Master Entertainment, the company's film and television subsidiary. In this role, she was responsible for all content and strategy related to the Entertainment Division of Spin Master Ltd., including the creation, acquisition, development, financing, production and distribution of television series, feature films and web content based on currently owned and newly created intellectual properties.

Having joined Spin Master in 2009, Dodge was the driving force in greenlighting more than 200 episodes of animation, including the launch of boys' action properties RedaKai and Tenkai Knights. Dodge also led Spin Master's foray into preschool with the hit PAW Patrol, which airs on Nickelodeon. Dodge is also the co-creator and executive producer of the recently launched preschool show Little Charmers, a co-production with Nelvana, for Treehouse in Canada and Nick Jr. worldwide.

Before joining Spin Master, Dodge served as VP Distribution and Sales Operations for Cookie Jar Entertainment (now part of DHX Media) and as Director, Production and Development for Decode Entertainment (DHX Media).

Corus Entertainment Secures all Programming Rights to Nickelodeon Content in Canada

* Deal includes exclusive rights to Nickelodeon's globally renowned programming across digital and linear platforms

* Long-term deal includes new rights to Nickelodeon's French-language content

Corus Entertainment, (TSX: CJR.B) a leading media and entertainment company and Nickelodeon, a division of Viacom International Media Networks (NASDAQ: VIAB, VIA), announced today that they are broadening their partnership with a new long-term agreement that grants Corus exclusive rights to all of Nickelodeon's English and French-language content across existing and emerging digital platforms as well as linear services in Canada.

Under the terms of the new licensing deal, Corus is the sole distributor and rights holder of Nickelodeon's robust catalogue of current content and library titles in Canada. The all-encompassing agreement gives Corus the ability to exploit Nickelodeon's content across linear and non-linear platforms including OTT, SVOD, electronic sell-through, games and mobile apps. In addition to English-language rights, this new deal includes rights to Nickelodeon's French-language programming.

Stephen Amell Set To Play 'Casey Jones' In "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2"

Variety is reporting the Turtley Awesome news that Stephen Amell has been cast to play the character 'Casey Jones' in Nickelodeon Movies, Paramount Pictures and Platinum Dunes'"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2", a sequel to Nick and Paramount's 2014 fun-filled and action-packed blockbuster "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" movie!


Additionally, Megan Fox and Will Arnett are set to return to play their respective characters 'April O'Neil' and 'Vern Fenwick'.

Described as a loner who becomes an ally of the turtles and a love interest for O'Neil, Jones is a fan favorite of the series going back to when Elias Koteas played him in the 1990 New Line film. Casey Jones is voiced by Nickelodeon Star Josh Peck ("Snow Day", "The Amanda Show", "Drake & Josh") in Nickelodeon's hit CG-animated "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" TV series.


Director David Green ("Earth to Echo") will take the helm of the next installment in the film franchise, with Michael Bay set to produce alongside his Platinum Dunes partners Andrew Form and Brad Fuller, with Galen Walker and Scott Mednick also producing. Screenwriters Josh Appelbaum & André Nemec ("Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol") are again coming aboard to write the sequel and will also Executive Produce. Plot details and information on other returning cast members are still unknown, however, filming for "TMNT 2" is due to start in New York this month (April 2015). The sequel will be released in theaters on June 3, 2016.

Stephen Amell tested with a half-dozen actors over the weekend, but it was his chemistry with Megan Fox that led to the studio eventually giving the role to the star of CW's "Arrow". Paramount has not yet released a comment on the casting.

2014's "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", which starred Megan Fox and Will Arnett, was a major financial success for Paramount, making $191 million at the US box office and $485M worldwide. "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" also packed a major punch with phenomenal sales during its first week of release on Blu-ray and DVD in the USA (Region A/1). The franchise has been such a success that Paramount dated the sequel for 2016 before even locking down a director or cast.

Nick Jr. UK To Premiere "Puffin Rock" On Monday 18th May 2015

Nick Jr. UK has announced the exciting news on their website, nickjr.co.uk, the exciting news that Nickelodeon UK's preschool channel, Nick Jr. UK and Ireland, will start to premiere and show "Puffin Rock", a brand-new funny, playful natural history animated preschool series about a family of puffins living on a wild and beautiful Irish island, from Monday 18th May 2015 at 6:30pm (repeated at 7:30pm on Nick Jr. +1)!


"Puffin Rock" is a all-new pre-school animated TV show for 2–5-year-old's narrated by Irish actor Chris O'Dowd ("Bridesmaids", "Moone Boy", "The IT Crowd"). Set on a beautiful island off the coast of Ireland, nature and wildlife are central to the stories and visual style of the show, giving it a unique look and feel. The main characters are Oona and Baba, a cute sister and brother Puffling pair, whose daily adventures encourage learning and reflect pre-school challenges. They have a close group of friends who all help them in and out of trouble on a daily basis. Friendship and family relationships are core to "Puffin Rock".


"Puffin Rock" is co-produced by the Oscar nominated Irish animation studio Cartoon Saloon, Northern Irish children's media company Dog Ears, and global publisher Penguin.


Following the shows debut, a range of "Puffin Rock" books published by Penguin in 2016. A second series of "Puffin Rock" is already in production.

As narrator, Chris O'Dowd mixes amusing observations with interesting facts about the wildlife on the island. O'Dowd is excited about his first foray into children's TV: "I love the whole idea behind Puffin Rock and the style of the artwork. Blake Myers pode até parecer igual a qualquer outro miúdo da sua idade: 13 anos, um fanático por desporto e um mestre do parkour. Mas se raramente um rapaz sabe mesmo o que quer ser quando crescer ou qual será o seu destino, Blake sabe o que o futuro lhe reserva: tornar-se-á um soldado intergalático do espaço com a missão de salvar o mundo de esquilos alienígenas!

A principal missão dos esquilos intergaláticos inadaptados é deter Blake no seu percurso para se tornar numa ameaça à sua raça algures no futuro! Porém,as tentativas diárias para interromper os planos de Blake, na maioria dos casos, não correm como esperado. Leonard e os seus seguidores Maxus e Jerome, dois traquinas de pouca esperteza que parecem interferir mais do que ajudar nas artimanhas de Leonard, não se deterão perante nada para parar Blake e impedir que consiga atingir o seu objetivo.

Ainda que Blake Myers só queira passar algum tempo com o seu amigo Mitch de la Cruz, um inventor de muito engenho, ele sabe da existência dos esquilos alienígenas que o perseguem e, claro, também sabe o que o espera no futuro.

O dia-a-dia de Blake e Mitch é uma mistura entre diversão a todo o custo e preparar e formar Blake para o seu destino como soldado intergaláctico do espaço. Para além disso, têm de repelir os ataques dos esquilos alienígenas que os perseguem, já que são os únicos de toda a vizinhança que sabem da existência destas criaturas do futuro.

Em cada episódio, Blake e Mitch terão de combater os esquilos que vão atrás de si, mesmo depois de terem sido encolhidos para dimensões microscópicas ou depois dos seus corpos terem sido trocados por os de um pinguim e de uma lula. Duros como são, os rapazes terão também de escapar da Idade do Gelo para onde foram enviados pelos esquilos! Isto para conseguirem chegar a tempo da festa de aniversário da sua amiga Skye, o amor platónico de Blake.

A luta contra os esquilos alienígenas do futuro começa no próximo dia 6 de abril, às 18:00. Por isso, não percas "Agarra o Blake" e segue as aventuras destes amigos e as suas disputas diárias contra os roedores, de segunda a domingo, às 18:00, no Nickelodeon.

In, "The Finger," the discovery of a giant, stone finger in the ground leads the kids on a passionate quest to find out what's attached to the rest of it. Then in "The Negatives of Being Positively Charged," when Fee and Foo become magnetized, nature seems determined to force them apart. But a life without each other simply won't do.

In "Fowl Work," when Sanjay and Craig get the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work at the Frycade, they soon discover Belle's secret life. Next in "Rash Thrash," Sanjay develops an allergy to Craig—could this mean the end of the dude-snake duo?

Before Power Rangers Dino Charge heads into it's mid-season hiatus, they might be facing their biggest threat yet, themselves! Our friends at Saban and Nickelodeon have sent us this exclusive clip where we get to see how the Clone Rangers get created.

In "Power Rangers Dino Charge", an alien entrusted powerful Energems to 10 dinosaurs, but when the dinosaurs went extinct, the Energems were lost. Now, an intergalactic bounty hunter is determined to reclaim the Energems and rule the universe, destroying our planet in the process. A new team of Power Rangers must find the lost Energems and use their Dino Chargers to power up an arsenal of dino-fueled weapons, zords and Megazords to save the world!

Nickelodeon UK, the number one commercial kids TV network in the UK, has announced the Sponge-tastic news that, to celebrate the Easter holidays, Nicktoons UK and Ireland, Nick UK's animation and action channel, will be premiering and showing brand-new episodes of Nickelodeon's hit original animated series "SpongeBob SquarePants" every weekday at 10:00am between Monday 6th and Thursday 9th April 2015 and Monday 13th and Thursday 16th April 2015, as part of "SpongeBob's Big Squeeze"! Following each episodes debut, NickToons will encore each all-new episode the same day at 4:00pm.

Berlin, 25. März 2015– Nickelodeon erweitert den sonntäglichen Programmblock 'Alles neu, alles Nick' um eine neue Live-Action Serie. Die Serie 'Bella & The Bulldogs' (eine Nickelodeon Original-Serie) reiht sich damit in das Line-Up neuer Shows und Episoden am frühen Sonntagabend ein.

In 'Bella & The Bulldogs' dreht sich alles um die 13-jährige Bella Dawson. Wenn die Bulldogs, das Football-Team der Schule, auf dem Platz kämpfen, steht Bella als Cheerleader am Spielfeldrand und feuert sie an. Doch eigentlich würde sie viel lieber auf dem Platz stehen, statt nur daneben. Es ist ihr Traum, selber Teil des Teams zu werden. Allein durch einen Zufall, wird der Team-Coach auf ihr Talent aufmerksam, lädt sie zum Probetraining ein – und ernennt sie kurzerhand zum neuen Quarterback der Bulldogs. Ab sofort muss Bella zwei Teams zufriedenstellen: die Bulldogs und ihre Cheerleader-Truppe.

In den USA entwickelte sich 'Bella & The Bulldogs' schnell zum Hit und erreicht seit der Premiere im Januar rund 2 Millionen Zuschauer pro neuer Episode. Eine zweite Staffel ist bereits bestätigt.

In Deutschland zeigt Nickelodeon 'Bella & The Bulldogs' ab dem 26. April immer sonntags um 18:20 Uhr im „Alles neu, alles Nick“-Block.
