PMI is set to release a range of licensed kids’ face masks in partnership with ViacomCBS, making PMI one of the few companies worldwide with the ability to offer fully printed, licensed three-layer masks.

All ViacomCBS proceeds from each face mask sold will go towards Save the Children’s Covid-19 global response efforts.


With lockdowns caused by the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic starting to be gradually eased around the world, medical professionals are recommending that people travelling on public transport and going into enclosed spaces should wear face masks to protect themselves and others from the virus - with some transport companies even requiring passengers to wear them whilst travelling.

It help make it easier for kids to adjust to the "new normal", P.M.I. is partnering with Nickelodeon to release a range of branded face masks featuring characters from hit Nickelodeon properties!

The PAW Patrol, SpongeBob SquarePants and MTV designs are available in a 5-pack, 10-pack and a handy 50-piece CDU containing two different designs for the feature property. Shimmer and Shine, The Loud House, Blaze and the Monster Machines, and the Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles designs are available in a 10-pack and a 50-piece CDU.


All ViacomCBS proceeds from each face mask sold will go towards Save the Children’s Covid-19 global response efforts. Suitable for kids aged between 4-12 years, the three-layer masks conform to US standard ASTM F2100-2019and European standard EN 14683: 2009.

PMI revealed the Nickelodeon face mask line during its first ever virtual toy show.

Billed as "The First EVER Global Virtual Toy Fair" and running between Monday 18th and Friday 22nd May, the company used the global Zoom event to showcase its portfolio of licensed collectibles, stationery and pocket money lines, based on popular properties including Paw Patrol, Pinkfong Baby Shark, Fortnite, Harry Potter, WWE, and Justice League. Professional camera-controllers were on hand to give attendees a guided tour around the PMI showroom, an experience that promised no interruptions and one-on-one attention beyond what could usually be expected during a physical, face to face event. Buyers and distributors were able ask questions, see the USPs of each range – of which there were many – and place orders without having to leave their home office.

ViacomCBS’s Nick Jr. UK has launched a limited edition PAW Patrol pups t-shirt – the profits of which will go to NHS Charities Together.

The t-shirt has been created in partnership with online retailer Character.com and apparel partner Bioworld International. They are available to purchase now on the Character.com website and will be promoted across Nick Jr.’s Facebook and Instagram accounts, in addition to key influencers’ social accounts.

The design features the PAW Patrol pups alongside the words ‘Thank you Heroes’ and a rainbow made out of colourful dog paws.


"All PAWS will be on deck to show support for our wonderful NHS heroes in this Paw Patrol tee! HOLLYWOOD, Calif.--Feb. 24, 2020--Nickelodeon today announced the greenlight of Side Hustle, a brand-new live-action buddy comedy starring social media sensations and real-life best friends, Annie LeBlanc and Jayden Bartels. The multi-camera series centers on best friends, Lex (LeBlanc) and Presley (Bartels), who have to create a business fast after inadvertently destroying their neighbor’s car. Created and executive produced by Dave Malkoff (Henry Danger, Sam & Cat, Victorious) and shot in front of a live studio audience, Side Hustle (13 half-hour episodes) will begin production in Los Angeles this March and premiere later this year on Nickelodeon.

“Annie and Jayden are two massively talented stars who kids adore, and we think our audience is going to love seeing them in their own show on Nick,” said Shauna Phelan, Senior Vice President, Live-Action Scripted Content. “Side Hustle is a new take on the classic buddy comedy, full of wild and hilarious adventures for our unique cast of characters.”

Lex, Presley and their quirky friend Munchy (Isaiah Crews) find themselves in a sticky situation after an accidental mishap destroys the police vehicle belonging to Munchy’s dad. Forced to come up with creative ways to earn money to pay for the damages, the best friends enlist the help of Presley’s tech-savvy younger brother, Fisher (Mitchell Berg), to create an app called “Kid-DING” to connect with people looking for help with small jobs. With Munchy’s bossy older brother Jaget (Jacques Chevelle) making sure they keep up with the payments, the three friends must do any jobs that come their way--no matter how crazy they are.


LeBlanc is an actress and singer who first came to social prominence in her family’s YouTube channel, “Bratayley.” She has since amassed over 27 million followers across her own social media platforms, and can be seen starring in Brat’s hit YouTube series Chicken Girls and A Girl Named Jo, and the YouTube Red Originals series We Are Savvy. As a singer LeBlanc’s had six songs in the Top Ten iTunes Pop charts, and two Top 50 Billboard Chart hits. She recently won “Choice Music Web Star” at the 2019 Teen Choice Awards, “Muser of the Year” at the 2018 Shorty Awards, and is currently nominated for “Favorite Female Social Star” at the 2020 Kids’ Choice Awards. In 2019, LeBlanc joined the Nickelodeon family starring in Annie vs. Hayley, a digital competition show with her younger sister Hayley, and co-hosted Camp Nick alongside Bartels.

Bartels is a singer, actress and dancer who has made a name for herself both on camera and on the stage. Having written and arranged every song she’s released, she debuted her first EP titled “What Really Matters?” last year and released her most recent single “Gameboy” earlier this month. She’s currently on tour opening for pop rock band Echosmith across the U.S., and she went out on a European tour with English singing duo Max & Harvey in 2019. She has a following of almost 12 million across her social media platforms, as well as over 1.6 billion likes on TikTok. On screen, Bartels has played a recurring role Disney Channel’s Coop & Cami Ask the World and lead in the films To The Beat! and its’ upcoming sequel, To The Beat! Back 2 School. She can also be seen in episodes of Nickelodeon’s Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn, Showtime’s Kidding and CBS’s Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders.

Update (5/24) - In an interview with Just Jared Jr. to promote Annie and Jayden's new show Group Chat, Jayden revealed that they plan to start work on Side Hustle once quarantine is over:

"JJJ: Would you want to continue [Group Chat] after quarantine is over?

Jayden: I’m pretty sure that after quarantine we’re going to start our other Nickelodeon show, Side Hustle, but maybe if there’s time it’s a possibility. But I think that once quarantine is over our focus might be shifted."

In The Loud House & The Casagrandes Hangin’ At Home, while hanging at home, Lincoln and Ronnie Anne host a half-hour special over video chat, where the pair reminisce on classic moments from The Loud House and The Casagrandes. During the special, Lincoln and Ronnie Anne will share helpful tips and funny anecdotes about what their families are all doing while staying home, while flashing back to previous episodes featuring their big and fun-loving families.

Nickelodeon continues to create opportunities that explores the intersection between content and technology. The Loud House & The Casagrandes Hangin’ At Home special was created virtually and features original animation of Lincoln Loud and Ronnie Anne having a dialog about what it’s like at home. The original animation was created using Adobe Character Animator in nearly a week, where artists listened to voice over and, using keyboard shortcuts, triggered certain animations on the characters. The voice actors behind these characters recorded their lines from home, which were then matched with the animation.

The Loud House & The Casagrandes Hangin’ At Home special is part of Nickelodeon’s #KidsTogether, a global, multiplatform prosocial initiative using its most popular characters and talent to engage with kids and families on tips for staying healthy and also ideas for activities to do together while in the home during COVID-19.

Following the special, fans can compete in The Loud House SmartyPants Challenge featuring trivia questions about the series. Players will test their knowledge with over 100 questions, earn badges and get an automatically generated nickname. The challenge will air over The Loud House episodes starting Mon., May 25, through Fri., May 29, from 4:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. (ET/PT) and syncs with Nickelodeon’s Screens Up! companion app and NickPlay.com.

BURBANK, Calif.—May 21, 2020—Pop culture star David Dobrik dives down to Bikini Bottom to host The Stars of SpongeBob Fan Favorites Special, a virtual table read uniting the voices behind the popular characters, premiering Friday, June 5, at 7:00 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon. The Stars of SpongeBob Fan Favorites Special sees voice actors Tom Kenny (SpongeBob), Bill Fagerbakke (Patrick), Rodger Bumpass (Squidward), Carolyn Lawrence (Sandy), Clancy Brown (Mr. Krabs) and Mr. Lawrence (Plankton) come together in a virtually produced special to bring to life classic SpongeBob SquarePants scenes.

Preschoolers are set for more heart-warming adventures with their favourite coat-clad bear, as Paddington returns to screens in the brand-new CG-animated series The Adventures of Paddington!

Airing on Nickelodeon South East Asia from Saturday 30th May 2020 at 8:00am, The Adventures of Paddington centres on a younger Paddington as he writes letters to Aunt Lucy celebrating the new things he has discovered through the day’s exciting activities. The series is a Heyday Films and STUDIOCANAL production in association with Copyrights.

Following launch, new episodes of The Adventures of Paddington will air regularly every Saturday and Sunday at 8:00am on Nick SEA.

Actor Ben Whishaw (Paddington 1 & 2) reprises his role as the voice of the title character, alongside new cast members Morwenna Banks, Bobby Beynon, Sheena Bhattessa, Darren Boyd, Noel Clarke, Phyllis Logan, Monica Lopera, Sabrina Newton-Fisher, David Schofield, Reece Shearsmith (The League of Gentlemen, Inside No. 9), Liz Sutherland-Lim and Jeremiah Waysome.
