Get set for some VITAL INFORMATION! Nickelodeon has announced the exciting news that OG All That cast members Kenan Thompson (Kenan & Kel, SNL, Good Burger) and the Big Ear of Corn are set to make a special appearance on Nickelodeon's revival of the network's iconic sketch show series! The episode, premiering Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 9:00 p.m. (ET/PT), will also feature a special musical performance from Nickelodeon star JoJo Siwa!


In the all-new episode, Kenan Thompson return with a special delivery for the new All That cast; Marie Kiddo DESTROYS her principals office; a music video about what really happens on a sick day; T@$#!eigh and Trad meet at the school dance; and JoJo Siwa rocks the legendary All That stage with a special musical performance! Kenan, who also executive produces the refreshed series of All That alongside his former Nickelodeon co-star Kel Mitchell, starred in the original version of All That for five seasons between April 1994 and December 1999. Following his success on All That, Kenan & Kel starred in their own self-titled sitcom and in the Nickelodeon Movie Good Burger, inspired by the fan-favorite sketch on All That. Kenan's sketches and characters on All That included Everyday French with Pierre Escargot, Miss Piddlin the school dinner lady, and Lester Oaks, the hangry impatient construction worker who visits Good Burger. In the Good Burger film, Kenan portrayed Dexter, Ed's long-suffering co-worker.

Featuring the best and most horrid of stories, Horrid Henry and the Big Screen sees Henry setting off on a vacation, becoming King Henry the Horrible and liking it too much, getting a new titanic TV, becoming a grown up and even trying to go to school. The special runs for just over an hour (1 hour 4 minutes) and features the new songs “My Song,” “Born To Be Rude,” “Wanna Be Me” and “Too Cool For School,” alongside the videos. It is directed by Hilary Audus and Dave Unwin and produced by Novel Entertainment’s Lucinda Whiteley and Mike Watts.

The official synopsis for Horrid Henry on the Big Screen reads:

"Calling all loyal members of the Purple Hand Gang, are you ready to rock?! Henry's back in style on the Vue big screen, with a fantastically brilliant compilation of favourite episodes and brand new music videos. Featuring the best and most horrid of stories, Horrid Henry and the Big Screen sees Henry setting off on a vile vacation (will he ever get rid of old bogey brain next door?), becoming King Henry the Horrible and liking it too much, getting a new and titanic TV, becoming a grown up (but not for long) and, can you believe it, trying to go to school! Nooooooo! So pack up your air guitar and come and join Henry and his friends, family and enemies for the best and most horrid entertainment ever, tee hee!"


The big-screen special is the latest incarnation of the four-time BAFTA-nominated series, which is one of the biggest children’s animated shows ever in the UK. The fifth season is currently on air in the U.K. and the brand has expanded to include film, stage, radio and online extensions, as well as being at the heart of an extensive and successful licensing and merchandising programme.

A total of 250 episodes of the series are now available, with recent sales including MBC (Middle East), Alati International (Russia) and Atlantic Digital Networks (Canada). Renewals include Turner Broadcasting System (Asia), Mediacorp (Singapore), POP TV (Slovenia), E-Vision (Middle East), Asiana (Korea) and Netflix (France, U.S., Canada, Australia and New Zealand).

Other leading broadcasters on board include Nicktoons in the UK & Ireland, ABC in Australia, RTE Eire, Mediacorp Singapore, Gulli in France, NRK in Norway, Hulu in the U.S., SVT in Sweden, YLE in Finland, RTP in Portugal, TVP1 in Poland and Al Jazeera in the Middle East. The series airs in 90 territories globally.

The news follows Novel Entertainment announcing that it has secured a raft of licensing deals for the award-winning animated series Horrid Henry.


Texco has a new range of Horrid Henry bedding while Cooneen has a new line of pyjamas at retail in Asda and a brand new range of Horrid Henry themed glasses are available through the NHS voucher scheme following a deal secured with Clear Vision.

Novel has also renewed deals across key categories, extending its agreement with Rubie’s for dress-up costumes available in Asda, Morrisons, Matalan and Sainsbury’s. Paul Lamond has extended its agreement for board games and puzzles, P2 Games has agreed to a new licence for its gaming app and Fabric Flavours is now in its 12th year as licensing partner for Horrid Henry shirts.

The recent licensing deals were brokered by Novel licensing agent Caroline Mickler Ltd.

Since launching on Nicktoons UK & Ireland in May 2018, Horrid Henry has been a ratings hit for Nickelodeon's channel dedicated to animated and action shows. During the February 2019 half-term, Horrid Henry occupied 14 out of the top 15 spots in the ratings chart for Nicktoons, outranking the likes of SpongeBob SquarePants.

The ensemble included Brandon Espinoza, Alex Gibson, Gaelen Gilliland, Juliane Godfrey, Jordan Grubb, Kyle Matthew Hamilton, Curtis Holbrook, Jesse JP Johnson, L'ogan J'ones, Jai'len Christine Li Josey, Kelvin Moon Loh, Lauralyn Mcclelland, Vasthy Mompoint, Oneika Phillips, Catherine Ricafort, JC Schuster, Allysa Shorte, Abby C. Smith, Robert Taylor Jr., Allan K. Washington, Brynn Williams, Matt Wood and Tom Kenny as the French Narrator.

The SpongeBob SquarePants Musical has a running time of 2 hours 30 minutes, and features two acts (ACT I: 1 hour 15 minutes; ACT II: 1 hour) and a 15 minute intermission.

It's currently unknown whether any of the original Broadway cast will be reprising their characters for the U.S. tour of the show. However, judging from the first promotional photo release, it'll feature a new ensemble cast. The cast will be announced at a later date.


The critically acclaimed SpongeBob SquarePants musical was named Best Musical by the Drama Desk Awards and Outer Critics Circle and earned 12 Tony Award nominations - the most nominated musical of the 2017-2018 theatre season - including nods for Best Musical, director Tina Landau, book writer Kyle Jarrow, title player Ethan Slater (in his Broadway debut), and the all-star roster of songwriters (including Sara Bareilles, Cyndi Lauper, and John Legend) who contributed to the score. The production earned 12 Tony Award nominations including best musical, equaling Mean Girls for the most of any show this season, and while The Band's Visit swept the honors, SpongeBob did score a deserved win for Best Scenic Design of a Musical for David Zinn's scenic design. The show’s director, Tina Landau, earned a Tony Award nomination for her inventive and unconventional approach to the material that humanized the characters than creating literal representations of the familiar Nickelodeon cartoon.

Following a Chicago tryout during summer 2016, SpongeBob SquarePants: The Broadway Musical opened at Broadway's Palace Theatre during Fall 2017, where it ran for 327 regular performances and 29 previews, defying critical expectations by earning some of the warmest reviews of the season. The show closed in September 2018 to make way for refurbishments at the Palace Theatre.

While many expected a theme park-style brand extension, the show surprised theatergoers with its wild Dadaist comic sensibility, ingenious design and winning performances, notably from gifted 26-year-old newcomer Ethan Slater, making a terrific Broadway debut in the title role.

Early in 2019, school and youth group licensing rights will be available, with professional licensing to follow. A North American tour will begin fall 2019.

SpongeBob SquarePants first debuted on Nickelodeon USA on May 1, 1999 and is still going strong.

Since its launch in July 1999, SpongeBob SquarePants has emerged as a pop culture phenomenon. The series has been the most-watched animated program with kids 2-11 for more than 15 consecutive years, and over the past several years, it has averaged more than 100,000,000 total viewers every quarter across all Nickelodeon networks. SpongeBob SquarePants is the most widely distributed property in Viacom International Media Networks history, seen in more than 208 countries and territories and translated in 55+ languages. The character-driven cartoon chronicles the nautical and sometimes nonsensical adventures of SpongeBob, an incurably optimistic and earnest sea sponge, and his undersea friends in the fictional underwater city of Bikini Bottom. Among those friends are SpongeBob's best friend, a pink starfish named Patrick Star, his neighbor and co-worker octopus Squidward Tentacles, and Sandy Cheeks, a squirrel from Texas.

SpongeBob SquarePants is created by Stephen Hillenburg, who previously worked as a writer, director and creative director on Nickelodeon's animated series Rocko's Modern Life. Hillenburg graduated from the California Institute of the Arts with a master's degree in experimental animation and his undergraduate degree, from Humboldt State University, was in natural science with an emphasis in marine biology. Hillenburg executive produced the series until his untimely passing in November 2018. His first feature film, The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, which debuted Nov. 19, 2004 and his second theatrical, The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water, hit theaters Feb. 6, 2015, landing at #1 opening weekend.

SpongeBob SquarePantshas been renewed through to at least the show's twelfth season, will be celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2019, has its own critically acclaimed Broadway show, set to tour the U.S. from Fall 2019, and has a third upcoming movie, The SpongeBob Movie: It's a Wonderful Sponge, set to be released in Summer 2020. Nickelodeon also recently revealed plans to spin off the characters from SpongeBob SquarePants into their own stand-alone series, specials and feature-length movies. The series is produced at Nickelodeon in Burbank.

“It’s a pretty big deal for us and for Wichita to be able to bring ‘Spongebob’ on the first national tour. It’s exciting,” Amy Hamm, executive director of The American Theatre Guild, told The Wichita Eagle. “We’re feeling confident this is a show that audiences are going to love.”

The characters don’t wear the exact costumes of their cartoon counterparts, she said, but enough for anyone who has seen the series to know who they are.

Rather than one composer, the music for “Spongebob” was written by various pop-rock performers, including David Bowie, Plain White T’s, Panic! at the Disco, Cyndi Lauper, Flaming Lips, John Legend, Aerosmith, They Might Be Giants and Bareilles.

“It’s kind of a neat twist in addition to being a big, bright, fun show with a ton of heart,” Hamm said. “I think it will be a surprise because it has some amazing messages about friendship and teamwork. It’s an important kind of show to have now, a good show with a good message.”

Kenan Thompson Returns to All That...But Nobody Knows Who He Is!



Kenan Thompson is back where it all started: All That. Kenan, who starred in the Nickelodeon series before getting his own show, Kenan & Kel, and going on to star in Saturday Night Live and soon his own NBC sitcom, is an executive producer on the kid-centered sketch show and makes his first on camera appearance in the Saturday, Aug. 3 episode.

In the awesome preview below, via E! News UK, Kenan—and the big ear of corn!—make their way backstage into the All That clubhouse to greet the new cast. Only problem? The new kids don't recognize the man that brought Superdude, Pierre Escargot and so many other characters to life for five seasons of the original All That. WHHHHYYYY?!?!!?

"It's pretty hilarious that you think I'm from Postmates," Kenan tells the new cast. "I'm Kenan Thompson, come on! One of the original cast members of All That, like Josh Server…and Kel Mitchell…and me! Kenan! Really?"

But, yep, no recollection. Even Josh and Kel can't help Kenan out when they crash the festivities. Buttercup, a legendary sketch comedy horse is another story…


The new cast of the All That revival includes Ryan Alessi, Reece Caddell, Kate Godfrey, Gabrielle Green, Nathan Janak, Lex Lumpkin and Chinguun Sergelen. In addition to Kenan, Kel and Josh, original cast member Lori Beth Denberg has also made a cameo in the 2019 series. Alisa Reyes also set to make a cameo on the show!

The new All That episode airs Saturday, Aug. 3 at 9:00 p.m. on Nickelodeon. Puffin Rock broadcasts on Tencent in China, where it has been streamed over 170 million times. The Puffin Rock Movie is the latest announcement for these charismatic Puffins!

Puffin Rock features an adorable family of puffins, and their laughter-filled adventures on a beautiful Irish island. Oona, and her cute little brother, Baba, explore, play and learn with their friends, and always make it home in time for a fish supper with Mama and Papa. Chris O’Dowd (Moone Boy, The IT Crowd, Bridesmaids) narrates the series, adding an extra twinkle of comedy whilst sharing funny observations and interesting facts about the natural world.


The movie sees our hero Oona work with her friends to save their island, and a precious little egg, in an action-packed story which celebrates our magnificent natural environment, and features themes of belonging, courage and friendship. The Puffin Rock Movie is a huge boost to the growing brand and also marks a new co-production partnership with CNB. The film will be produced across three locations – in Dog Ears studio in Derry, in Cartoon Saloon in Kilkenny and in China Nebula Studio in Tianjin in China – due for release in the Spring of 2021.

The SlobbyKids - SlobbyRat, SlobbySkunk, and SlobbySnake are the SlobbyKids! The polar opposite to the HobbyKids, you can count on these guys to find a way to try and ruin the day! You can often see them traveling around in the Street Beater, a vehicle made from junk slapped together from the dumpster!

HobbyKids Adventures made its world debut on the HobbyKidsTV YouTube network on Saturday, June 22, 2019. Following the series premiere, Pocket.watch is now launching a HobbyKids Adventures consumer products line, which will comprise toys, apparel, bedding, room décor, pajamas, backpacks, and more. Products will be created alongside licensing companies Just Play, The Bentex Group, Franco Manufacturing, and Bio World, and will be distributed exclusively at Walmart (where Ryan launched his brand). To fete the series premiere, Pocket.watch hosted an eight-week experiential tour at 24 Walmart parking lots across the U.S., including Hobbykids Adventures viewing parties and meet-and-greets with the whole family.

HobbyKids Adventures will also be promoted through partnerships with fast food chains Carl’s Jr. and Hardees. In August, the restaurants will launch HobbyKids Adventures-branded children’s meals in 3,800 restaurants nationwide.

The tentpole HobbyKidsTV channel launched in 2013 and has subsequently become one of the biggest kid-friendly destinations on YouTube, with 3.5 million subscribers and over 6.2 billion lifetime views.

The news follows Pocket.watch producing Ryan’s Mystery Playdate, starring Ryan from Ryan ToysReview, for Nickelodeon, which, since launch, has become the number-one preschool show on all TV.

Hosted by Super Bowl champion and two-time Emmy Award-winner Michael Strahan, Kids’ Choice Sports 2019 is the only show where kids celebrate their favorite athletes and the year’s most epic surprises and challenges across the world of sports. Airing Saturday, August 10, at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT) on everywhere you find Nickelodeon, Kids’ Choice Sports 2019 was taped live on Thursday, July 11, from Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

Three-time NBA champion Dwyane Wade was honored with the Legend Award at this year’s show in recognition of his achievements and outstanding sportsmanship on and off the court. Upon receiving his mohawk award, Wade was doused from head to toe in glistening gold slime.

Co-captain of the U.S. Women’s National Team and two-time World Cup champion Megan Rapinoe received the Generation Change Award for 2019 at tonight’s ceremony. The award, presented by 13-year-old pro soccer player Olivia Moultrie, honors Megan’s passion to create positive changes, build social movements, and make sports and the world a more equal playing field when it comes gender, race and LGBTQ+ rights.

Grammy Award-winning global superstar Ciara hit the stage with a medley of her hit songs--current single “Set,” viral sensation “Level Up” and her classic hit “1, 2 Step.” Ciara was joined by dancers from The Lab Creative Arts Studio, home to world champion dancers and athletes, and surrounded by a laser light extravaganza.

The slime-filled celebration also featured two star-studded teams going head to head in the first-ever Kids' Choice Sports Championship--a mega-competition made up of five grand-scale, sports-themed challenges that spanned the entire show. Team Slime Slammers was captained by Lindsey Vonn with Alysa Liu, Kel Mitchell, Shaun White, Trae Young and Nyjah Huston. Team Orange Crunch was led by Rob Gronkowski with David Dobrik, Laurie Hernandez, Olivia Moultrie, Ben Simmons and P.K. Subban.

KCS2019.com serves as the official destination for Kids’ Choice Sports 2019 and will pair with the show to feature all-star live votes, polls, sports-themed short-form videos, trivia, backstage reactions, and more. As the show’s competitors face off during the telecast, users will be able to pick which team to support and join the fun in the interactive experience all night. Users will also be able to access all day of show content on the Screens Up app, which will feature AR-sticker collection throughout the show.

Kids’ Choice Sports 2019 will encore: Saturday, Aug. 10, at 9:30 p.m. (ET/PT) and Sunday, Aug. 11, at 6:30 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon; Monday, Aug. 12, at 6:30 p.m. (ET/PT) on TeenNick; and Tuesday, Aug. 13, at 6:00 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nicktoons. Nickelodeon Latin America (Latinoamérica) has announced the finalists for Kids' Choice Awards México 2019, as voted for by fans, plus one extra voting category!


Update (1/8) - Nickelodeon Latinoamérica has announced Jaime Camil and Isabella de la Torre “Bala” as the hosts for Kids' Choice Awards México 2019! The news follows Nickelodeon signing Isabella to a talent and consumer product deal earlier this year.

Over the past month, NickHeads in Mexico have been voting in their millions for their favourites to become finalists in each category, with the top four (out of eight) most voted for nominees in each of the 20 voting categories going onto the final stage of voting. Over 110 million votes were cast in the preliminary round of KCA México 2019!

NickHeads can now vote for who they want to win a coveted Nickelodeon Orange Blimp Award at Kids' Choice Awards México 2019!

Fans can vote for their favourites via four voting methods: online at KCAMexico.com, via the Nick Play app (available to download for free on iOS and Android devices at http://play.mundonick.com), and on Twitter and Instagram using the methods below. Fans can vote as many times as they wish to support their favourites from the worlds of entertainment, music, sports and more!

To vote on Twitter, fans should use the following hashtags:

Nickelodeon Latinoamérica anuncia al ícono mundial de cine y televisión Jaime Camil y a la sensación del mundo digital Isabella de la Torre “Bala”, quienes actualmente cuentan con millones de seguidores en sus redes sociales, como los hosts oficiales de la décima entrega de los Kids’ Choice Awards México (#KCAMexico). La combinación de uno de los actores más talentosos de México junto con esta nueva personalidad del mundo digital, será la mezcla perfecta para celebrar el décimo aniversario con un espectáculo lleno de slime, diversión e increíbles presentaciones musicales en vivo que serán anunciadas próximamente.
