Nickelodeon Germany (Deutschland), Switzerland (Schweiz) and Austria (Österreich) will premiere Power Rangers Beast Morphers, the 26th season of the iconic, long-standing Power Rangers franchise, on Monday 19th August 2019! In this brand new season of Power Rangers, the Rangers are sporting tactical leather suits with their ‘Beast Bot’ sidekicks and elevated battle footage with an all-new cast of dynamic heroes, evil villains and imagination defying monsters. Set in the future, a secret agency combines a newly discovered substance called Morph-X with Animal DNA to create the Power Rangers Beast Morphers team. The Rangers must fight off an evil sentient computer virus bent on taking over the source of all ranger power, the Morphin Grid itself!

Nickelodeon Brazil to Search for Master of Slime in New Game Show 'Nick Master Slime'

Nickelodeon Brazil (Brasil) is searching for Brazil's Slime Master in Nick Master Slime, a brand-new game show, premiering on Nickelodeon Brasil on Friday 16th August 2019 at 16:30!

Aligned with the Slime Fever that has gripped kids for the past couple of years, Nickelodeon, widely regarded as the inventor of authentic slime, Nick Master Slime is the first reality show dedicated to finding the best Slime Master in Brazil. A 100% Brazilian production, the reality show will be hosted by teen actor, singer and YouTuber João Guilherme, and will feature a team of judges who are experts on the subject of slime.

Set in a Slime Lab, throughout the series, Nick Master Slime will see six contestants aged between 9-12 years old take on fun and challenging challenges in pursuit of the title of Master Slime, using a variety of ingredients to use and mix into the slime needed to win.

In each episode, a different challenge must be completed by the contestants against the clock. The performances of each participant will be evaluated by the judges and YouTubers, who have PhD's when it comes to slime: Sofia Furlani, Luluca and Carol Teixeira.

Sofia Furlani (@sofiasfurlanioficial) is 12 years old and from Santa Catarina. A slime specialist, the YouTuber (/sofiasfurlani) has already amassed 2.5 million subscribers to her channel; Luluca (@luluca_oficial) is 10 years old and from São Paulo. The YouTuber (/crescendocomluluca) creates vlogs about a variety of different subjects, including slime, and has already amassed 5.5 million subscribers to her channel; Carol Teixeira (@diariodacarol05) is a 13 years old actor from Rio. The YouTuber (/diariodacarol05) vlogs about slime and music, with her channel boasting 3.2 million subscribers.

Some of the challenges competitors will face throughout the show are: 'Fixing the Worst Slime in the World', 'Edible Slime', 'Slime by Telepathy', 'Mysterious Slime Roulette', 'Giant Slime Ostentation' and, in the Grand Final, 'Pause Challenge'.

Nickelodeon Brasil will air two new episodes of Nick Master Slime a week, every Friday and Saturday at 16:30, starting Friday 16th August 2019. Each Friday episode will be a non-knockout episode. In the non-knockout episodes, one of the contestants will gain an advantage to assist them in the next challenge.

In additional to their linear broadcasts, viewers will be able to watch episodes of Nick Master Slime on mundonick.com.br, the Nick Play app, and on the official Nickelodeon Brasil YouTube channel.

Alinhada com a febre que arrebatou a atenção das crianças, a Nickelodeon, como criadora do autêntico ‘SLIME’, acaba de anunciar a estreia do primeiro reality show para eleger o melhor slime master do Brasil. Com produção 100% nacional, o reality show, ‘Nick Master Slime’, será apresentado pelo astro teen, João Guilherme, e contará com um time de juradas que são especialistas no assunto.

Com patrocínio de Acrilex, o reality tem estreia confirmada para 16 de agosto, às 16h30, com dois episódios inéditos por semana, toda sexta e sábado, na Nickelodeon, no site Mundo Nick, no aplicativo Nick Play e no canal oficial da Nickelodeon no Youtube.

Fenômeno na web, slime ganha reality com ator de As Aventuras de Poliana

Fenômeno com o público infantojuvenil na internet, o slime (gosma feita em casa) vai ser foco de um novo reality show, o Nick Master Slime. Com apresentação do ator e cantor João Guilherme, o Luca Tuber de As Aventuras de Poliana, o programa será exibido pelas mídias digitais do canal pago Nickelodeon.

João Guilherme vai comandar a competição entre seis participantes que disputarão o título de Master Slime (mestre do slime). Os competidores terão que fazer slimes com diferenciais, como uma versão comestível e outra gigante ostentação.

Além disso, os seis concorrentes precisarão mostrar conhecimento sobre a geleca para conseguir consertar slimes que deram errado, e versatilidade para fazer as gosmas com ingredientes sorteados em uma roleta.

Em cada episódio, um desafio diferente deverá ser cumprido pelos participantes em um tempo pré-determinado. As performances de cada um serão avaliadas pelas juradas e youtubers especialistas em slime: Sofia Furlani, Luluca e Carol Teixeira. As três somadas ultrapassam 11 milhões de seguidores no YouTube.

Já os seis competidores têm entre 9 e 12 anos, e já dão seus primeiros passos no mundo dos influenciadores digitais.

A Nickelodeon decidiu produzir um reality nacional sobre slimes pois tem experiência no assunto: uma das marcas do canal é dar banho de slime verde durante seus grandes eventos.

Nomes como Tatá Werneck, Larissa Manoela e Maisa Silva já saíram cobertas de gosma do Meus Prêmios Nick. Nos Estados Unidos, Tom Cruise, Justin Bieber, Will Smith, Katy Perry e Justin Timberlake tomaram banho de slime verde, enquanto a cantora Pink recebeu jatos da meleca rosa.

'Dora and the Lost City of Gold' Premiere: Eva Longoria, Michael Peña, Isabela Moner Tout Pride for All-Latino Cast

"There was no forcing or checking the box of diversity," Longoria told The Hollywood Reporter at the premiere in Los Angeles, California which also featured the film's stars Benicio Del Toro, Danny Trejo and Eugenio Derbez.

At the Los Angeles premiere of Dora and the Lost City of Gold, the Nickelodeon favorite made her live-action film debut and brought her Latino community along for the ride.

The film's stars — including Isabela Moner, Michael Peña, Eva Longoria, Benicio Del Toro, Danny Trejo, and Eugenio Derbez — filed down the red carpet at Regal Cinemas L.A. on Sunday. The stars were just a handful of the all-Latino cast who populated the movie's live-action take on Dora's world.

Longoria, who plays Dora's mother, Elena, told The Hollywood Reporter that being part of an all-Latino cast made sense for the movie and for the source material.

"If you think about Dora being Latina, you automatically get to populate her world with Latinos," Longoria told THR. "There was no forcing or checking the box of diversity if you represent Dora and her natural culture."

Ensuring authentic representation of Dora's community was an important aspect of extending her impact to the big screen, director James Bobin said. He noted that for a number of girls and Latino children, it was the first time they saw themselves truly represented onscreen, so bringing that impact to the theaters was significant to him.

"Being part of the movie, of quite a good size, and having the lead character be a 16-year-old Latina, it's fantastic and I'm really proud to have done that," he said.

The film's producer, Kristin Burr, also noted that truthfulness to the story was a cornerstone for the project. This push for authenticity was one of the factors that persuaded a number of stars, including Derbez, to sign on in the first place.

Derbez, who takes on the role of explorer Alejandro Gutierrez, revealed that he signed onto the project after learning it would feature an all-Latino cast. Additionally, the project's focus on a character whom he deems a "Latina superhero" and positive portrayals for the community also brought him on board.

"I always wanted to change the image of Latinos in Hollywood because they're always portraying us as criminals and drug lords," he told THR.

Similarly, Peña, who stars as the heroine's father, said that Dora and the Lost City of Gold would be his first time starring in a big-budget, Latin-led project. He also noted that projects like the August film is a step toward normalizing authentic stories and casting in Hollywood.

Though Dora and the Lost City of Gold adds to the year's list of live-action films inspired by previous material, what sets it apart from other projects is its focus on a strong, young Latina, Burr said.

Moner, who plays the renown explorer Dora, said that taking on the beloved animated character's courageous aspects didn't feel forced and allowed her to highlighted a different kind of female bravery.

"Whenever people think that a woman needs to be strong, they think that she has no emotions, is super serious, but Dora loves pink, she wears orange shorts, she loves dancing to Gloria Estefan, she's super girly," she said. "It's important to break up the stereotype that women have to act like men in order to be strong."

Dora and the Lost City of Gold hits theaters across the U.S. on Friday, August 9, 2019, and cinemas across the U.K. on Friday 16th August 2019.

Dora and the Lost City of Gold star Eva Longoria says her maternal instincts went "bonkers" on the movie's set.

The 44-year-old actress discussed motherhood while attending the film's Los Angeles premiere Sunday at the Regal Cinemas L.A. Live movie theater.
Longoria welcomed her first child, son Santiago, with husband Jose "Pepe" Baston in June 2018. She plays Dora's mom, Elena, in the new film.

"My instincts in this movie were completely bonkers because I was a new mom," Longoria told Entertainment Tonight.

"Dora's, like, running in the jungle, holding a snake, running into crumbling falling rocks, [and] I'm like, "I would never let my child do that!'" she said. "The director was like, 'Right, but it's Dora!' I'm like, 'Okay, okay.'"

Longoria wore a bright yellow Vitor Zerbinato dress and strappy white sandals to the premiere.. She shared a photo of her look on Instagram, saying she was "feeling bright."

"I'm feeling bright for @doramovie premiere!" the star captioned the post.

Dora and the City of Gold is a new live-action movie based on the Nickelodeon animated series Dora the Explorer. The film co-stars Isabela Moner as Dora, Michael Pena and Danny Trejo, and opens in theaters Aug. 9.

Longoria had shared similar sentiments about motherhood and her experience with Dora and the Lost City of Gold in an interview with Extra last week.

"It changed all my instincts. Like, my moral compass was totally bonkers because I just had new eyes on the world," the star said.

"I remember there was a scene when Michael and I are standing there and Dora runs back into the crumbling temple," she recalled. "Michael and I were like, 'No, no, no. We would never let our child run into a crumbling temple. That's very dangerous.' It was just against every instinct in my body to not keep my child safe."

Along with Eva, Michael Pena and Isabela Moner graced the red carpet in fashion-forward 'fits. The Dora and the Lost City of Gold stars posed for pictures at the Regal Cinemas at L.A. Live. The 18-year-old actress looked absolutely radiant in a white sparkly Rodarte dress that featured a sexy sheer cut-out. She paired her gown with Stuart Weitzman heels and flashy rings.

Pena opted for a grey suit and polka dot tie.

The trio's co-stars also stepped out for the special occasion, including Eugenia Derbez, Jeffrey Wahlberg, Danny Trejo, Q'orianka Kilcher, Nicholas Coombe, Madeleine Madden, and Joey Vieira.

Paramount Pictures hosted the premiere of “Dora and the Lost City of Gold” over the weekend. Select members of the cast and crew met with fans on the red carpet to promote the film, which is scheduled to hit theaters on August 9th. Dora herself, Isabela Moner, joined stars Eva Longoria, Michael Peña, Jeff Wahlberg, Nicholas Coombe, Madeleine Madden, and Danny Trejo at the event, where they discussed the live-action adaptation and bringing the iconic character to life on the big screen.

James Bobin directed the film for the studio, and the story picks up with Dora when she begins her high school years. Always the explorer, Dora quickly finds herself leading Boots (her best friend, a monkey), Diego (Jeff Wahlberg), a mysterious jungle inhabitant (Eugenio Derbez), and a ragtag group of teens on a live-action adventure to save her parents (Eva Longoria, Michael Peña) and solve the impossible mystery behind a lost city of gold.

Julia Pistor, Eugenio Derbez, and John G. Scotti served as executive producers on the film, with Kristin Burr serving as producer.

As we mentioned earlier, the movie is scheduled to open on August 9th, a busy weekend at the box office. Not only will “Dora and the Lost City of Gold” release one week after “Hobbs & Shaw,” the film opens against “The Art of Racing in the Rain,” “Brian Banks,” “The Kitchen,” and “Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark.” The following week won’t be any easier for Dora since Sony Pictures is releasing “Angry Birds 2” in theaters nationwide.

Fans of Isabela Moner might remember her from her work on “Instant Family” and “Sicario: Day of the Soldado,” when she played Lizzy and Isabel Reyes respectively. Moner is also set to star in the rom-com “Let it Snow” from director Luke Snellin, based on a short story by John Green. That movie also features Kiernan Shipka, Jacob Batalon, Odeya Rush, Joan Cusack, Shameik Moore, Liv Hewson, Miles Robbins, and Genevieve DeGraves.

Marcus Stroman Once Won $100 on Nickelodeon's 'Figure It Out'

Nickelodeon's hit '90s game show Figure It Out always had at least one world-class athlete on the show thanks to host and Olympic gold medalist Summer Sanders, but one episode was also graced with another Major League talent, although he was more of a little leaguer at the time.

Former Toronto Blue Jays ace Marcus Stroman was chosen out of the audience at age 6 for a chance to win $100 worth of Geoffrey Dollars from Toys "R" Us.

The popular show originally ran between 1997-1999, was one of the network’s most popular shows, having a panel of network stars try and guess hidden talents of its young contestants.

During breaks between rounds the show would give away prizes to members of the audience, sometimes from random selections. The hilarious unearthed video, unearthed by the Mets Twitter fan account @Metsthrowbacks just hours after it was announced that the Long Island native and baseball ace would be returning to New York, features Stroman as a child being announced as the winner of a $100 Toys "R" Us gift card.


Stroman won the big prize, thanks to Amanda Bynes (All That, The Amanda Show) and Weinerville’s Marc Weiner (Dora the Explorer, Go, Diego, Go!, Dora and Friends: Into the City) both performing the “secret slime action.” The starter pulled in over $500,000 last year, but none of that money was anywhere near as exciting as those sweet, slime-covered Geoffrey Dollars.

In the video, Stroman, who would be around 6 years old at the time of recording, can be seen next to next dad, Swole Poppa Stroman, grinning, standing up and clapping, doing a couple fist pumps in the same animated way he has notoriously replicated on the field as an MLB player.

The 28-year-old from Medford, NY was one of the biggest names on the Major League Baseball trading block, linked to contenders the likes of the Yankees, Astros, and Red Sox, but no one had predicted the floundering Mets, five games under. 500 and six games out of the second Wild Card spot, to make a power move for the 2019 All-Star.

Marcus Stroman isn't the only child who made it big after appearing on Figure It Out: Country singer/songwriter Hunter Hayes also appeared as a contestant on the show in 1998!

'Zoey 101' Cast Reunites Amid Reboot Rumors

The potential Zoey 101 reboot is getting the old gang back together -- and they really, REALLY want to see Jamie Lynn Spears ... in person, and hopefully on set!

A bunch of cast members from the fan favorite Nickelodeon show reunited Monday (July 29, 2019) night in L.A. for a flashback dinner with the show's creator Dan Schneider in attendance as well. Some of the stars who showed up included Chris Massey (Michael), Sean Flynn (Chase), Victoria Justice (Lola), Matt Underwood (Logan), Abby Wilde (Stacey), Paul Butcher (Dustin), Jack Salvatore Jr. (Mark) and Erin Sanders (Quinn).

TMZ are told they met at The Front Yard in North Hollywood around 8 PM. From the photos, it looks like it was a wine and dine affair. No word if PCA favorite Blix was on the menu.


Schneider wrote on Instagram, "Some Zoey 101 buzz got me talking with my good friend Sean Flynn (“Chase”)… and within about 72 hours, this happened! I’m not sure how I feel about my new glasses, but that was one of the most fun nights ever."

He added, "A wonderful cast of kids then, and even better all grown up! Much love/respect for all of you! Jamie Lynn is busy shooting her new show in Atlanta. We missed you, congrats!"

As he notes, Jamie Lynne couldn't make the meetup -- Austin Butler didn't show either, he's busy these days too -- but it's clear JLS wanted to be there.

Sadly, Jamie was busy filming her new Netflix show Sweet Magnolias in Atlanta, so she couldn't make the L.A. dinner, but the cast still sent her an adorable video. Apparently, she was supposed to FaceTime with them, but she fell asleep. Whoops. Jamie posted a video she received from her old crew, in which they told her they loved her and missed her ... and hoped to see her soon, as well as sing the show's iconic theme song. The implication is clear -- Zoey 101 is itching to run it back for a new show, which might very well happen.


TMZbroke the story that Jamie Lynn has been in talks with Nickelodeon execs over reviving the teen dramedy about kids living at a beachside boarding school called PCA that she starred in back in the 2000s. It would focus on her life 10 years later, and she'd have a couple kids in the show, just like real life.

Jamie Lynn responded to the reports by posting “Yo, @nickelodeon have your people call my people🤝😉 #Zoey101” on the star's social media pages.

The push is on, as far as Jamie's costars are concerned! #BringBackZoey

Nickelodeon has been excelling in the reboot game for the past few years, giving us new installments of Hey Arnold!, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Double Dare, Rocko's Modern Life, Invader Zim, and All That, plus upcoming revivals of Rugrats and Are You Afraid of the Dark?, so rebooting Zoey 101 isn't a far-fetched idea. It COULD actually happen.

Back in 2015, Sean and Chris stepped back into the roles of Chase and Michael to answer a long-held question: What did Zoey say on the time capsule episode? The mini reunion was a mega success, going viral online and racking up over 15 million views on YouTube. Fans went nuts and demanded to see more.

If all of that happened when only two actors reunited onscreen, imagine what could happen if ALL of them returned to PCA.

Until that happens, or at least until we get an update on the reboot status, put away your Pear Phone, grab some Blix, and enjoy these totally awesome pics and videos from the reunion dinner. (There's also a ton of fun content on the actors' Instagram Stories, especially on Chris's IG.)

Nickelodeon Latin America Premieres 'Kally's Mashup' Season 2

Nickelodeon Latin America (Latinoamérica) will start to premiere and show Kally's Mashup season two on Monday 18th February 2019 at 6:00pm on Nickelodeon Colombia / 7:00pm on Nickelodeon Venezuela and Nickelodeon Argentina / 8:00pm Nickelodeon Chile and Nickelodeon México!

Update (23/2): Following its pay-TV debut on Nickelodeon, Viacom's Argentinean free-to-air channel Televisión Federal S.A. (Telefe) will start to air Kally's Mashup season two every Saturday and Sunday morning from Saturday 23rd February 2019!

Kally’s MashUp is inspired by the real-life musical journey of Glee’s executive musical producer, Adam Anders. It follows the adventures of Kally, a young musical prodigy who tries to balance her life as a piano virtuoso and a regular girl when she moves from a small town to the most prestigious music university in the country. Although everyone thinks she was born to be a classical piano player, her true dream and passion is to be a pop star. Kally’s MashUp features original songs composed by Anders, his wife Nikki Anders, and longtime collaborator Peer Astrom. Anders serves as executive producer for the show and oversees all the music featured in the series.

Kally's MashUp stars a very talented cast from Argentina and Mexico, headed by Maia Reficco as Kally Ponce (Mica 6.3.5); Alex Hoyer as Dante Barkin; Sarah Cobo as Gloria Skyler; Mariano Chiesa as Mike Ponce; Betina O’Connell as Carmen Ponce; Marita Ballesteros as Rosario; Emiliano Dionisi as Carlos (Charly) Ponce; Josefina Scaglione as Abrankhousen; Sebastián Holz as Norman Skyler; Francisco Donovan as Félix; Daniel Campomenosi; Sarai Meza as Tina Barkin; Jackie Castañeda as Caridad; Fer Serrano as Lisa Barnes; Tomás Carullo as Kevin; Tupac Larriera as Alex; Daniela Flombaum as Lucy Magliano; José G. Zapiola as Tomás (Tommy) Greco ; Lalo Brito as Andrés (Andy) Guiderman; Milagros Masini as Olivia; Celeste Sanazi as Stefania (Stefi); Camila Mateos as Nicole; Cintia Torres Garcia; Facundo Giordano; Julieta Perez Cieri; Juan Martin Delgado; Carla Guidobono; Maximiliano Morales; Lucas Noacco; Florencia Ortega; Mario Juangorena; Sofia Miramon; and Maximo Espindola as Nando.

Kally's MashUp season one (75×60-minute episodes) debuted on Nickelodeon Latinoamérica in October 2017 and has since been seen by more than 5 million viewers across the Latin American region, achieving the No. 1 position in Mexico among girls aged 7 to 14 years. Following its success, Nickelodeon Latinoamérica recently ordered more new episodes.

Kally's MashUp season two will have 45 episodes.

Kally's Mashup season two (45x60-minute episodes) made its world debut on Nickelodeon Brazil (Brasil) on Monday 22nd October 2018.

A new line of consumer products inspired by the popular series was released earlier this year. "Kally's MashUp: La música: banda sonora original de la serie de TV", a album featuring 18 songs from the hit TV show, was released on Friday 9th March 2018 by Deep Well Records, under exclusive license to Sony Music Entertainment US Latin LLC. The album can be downloaded now at kallysmashupofficial.com. A live stage show is expected to launch during winter 2018. Nickelodeon Latinoamérica recently hosted a contest in which one lucky Kally's MashUp fan won the chance to feature in the season finale of Kally's MashUp 2.

Kally's MashUp has been snapped up by television channels around the globe, including TeenNick Israel, DeA Kids in Italy, Gulli in France, Gulli Girl in Russia, DStv Kids in Angola and Mozambique, and Biggs in Portugal.

Una nueva entrega de 45 episodios de la serie musical, producida por 360 Powwow y Anders Media Inc., llega a Nickelodeon Latinoamérica el próximo lunes 18 de febrero para toda la región.

Tras una exitosa primera temporada, Nickelodeon Latinoamérica anunció el estreno de la segunda temporada de su popular serie musical, Kally's Mashup, para el próximo lunes 18 de febrero a las 19:00 hs.

La nueva temporada de la serie cuenta con su elenco original, encabezado por la actriz argentina Maia Reficco y el mexicano Alex Hoyer, así como algunas nuevas incorporaciones incluyendo Ana Julia Angilello, Zhongbo Li Zhang, Josefina Willa, German Tripel, Leonardo Trento, Melisa Garat Javier Gomez y Ignacio Francavilla.

Kally’s Mashup cuenta con música original compuesta por Anders, su compañero musical de años, Peer Astom y su esposa Nikki Anders. Adam Anders también está a cargo de la Producción Ejecutiva, supervisando toda la música de la serie.

Con 75 episodios, la primera temporada finalizó con Kally presentando una canción original de pop clásico. Los jueces se rehúsan a nombrarla como ganadora, pues ella presentó un género musical que no está permitido en las reglas de la competencia.

La segunda temporada de la serie original de Nickelodeon Latinoamérica, producida por 360 Powwow y Anders Media Inc., llegará a Telefe pocos días después de su estreno en TV paga.

Telefe anunció que la segunda temporada de Kally's Mashup, la exitosa serie musical de Nickelodeon Latinoamérica, se verá en su pantalla en Argentina.

Tras el reciente estreno en TV paga por Nickelodeon este lunes 18, la ficción juvenil podrá verse desde el sábado 23, todos los sábados y domingos de mañana por Telefe.

La segunda temporada de Kally's Mashup (45 x una hora) cuenta con su elenco original, encabezado por la actriz argentina Maia Reficco y el mexicano Alex Hoyer.

Además, los nuevos capítulos traen nuevas incorporaciones, incluyendo a Ana Julia Angilello, Zhongbo Li Zhang, Josefina Willa, German Tripel, Leonardo Trento, Melisa Garat, Javier Gómez e Ignacio Francavilla.

SpongeBob Schwammkopf 20: das allerschönste Jahr

He's yellow, square and always in a good mood: SpongeBob SquarePants has been sharing his zest for life and optimism with fans for two decades now, together with his friends, including his faithful BFF starfish Patrick Star and cranky co-worker Squidward Tentacles. In July 1999, the very first episode of SpongeBob SquarePants flickered on television screens across the U.S.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of SpongeBob SquarePants, Nickelodeon, MTV and Comedy Central in Germany will dedicate a whole weekend to the iconic yellow bundle of joy, beginning Friday 12th July 2019!

On Friday 12th July 2019, Nickelodeon (Germany, Switzerland and Austria), MTV and Comedy Central will pay tribute to the world's most popular sponge and air SpongeBob Schwammkopf across all three channels. Whilst Nickelodeon (06:00 Uhr - 20:15 Uhr) and Comedy Central (from 06:00 Uhr - 00:00 Uhr) will dedicate the day to the most popular and funniest episodes, MTV will be all about the musical episodes. In an MTV Most Wanted special, MTV will showcase the most popular musical episodes of the series between 19:15 Uhr to 22:10 Uhr, including the legendary episode "Band Geeks", featuring the hit song "Sweet Victory", which, thanks to over one million fans, became part of this year's Super Bowl halftime show!

The celebration continues with the 48-hour SpongeBob Live-Show, airing on Nick over Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th July 2019! In honour of SpongeBob Schwammkopf's 20th anniversary, Nick will be hosting the SpongeBob Live-Show. Live from a glass studio, Nickelodeon presenter Sascha Quade (TOY TOY TOY – Die Unboxing Show) will be sending sponge-tastic greetings to all of SpongeBob's fans and viewers. In his studio on the Marlene-Dietrich-Platz in the centre of Berlin, he will invite illustrious guests to talk about SpongeBob Schwammkopf and to play hilarious games. There will also be special musical performances. On Saturday and Sunday starting at 12:00 Uhr, Nick will broadcast live to the studio on the hour, allowing Sascha to invite the audience to interact and participate in all the action live. Viewers can find out what's happening throughout the weekend online at spongebob.de. Nickelodeon will also broadcast SpongeBob SquarePants throughout the weekend throughout the live show.

A special highlight is the premiere of the special “SpongeBob’s Big Birthday Blowout" on Saturday 13th July 2019 at 19:10 Uhr, where SpongeBob reunites with guest star David Hasselhoff (Baywatch)! SpongeBob Schwammkopf 20: das allerschönste Jahr

He's yellow, square and always in a good mood: SpongeBob SquarePants has been sharing his zest for life and optimism with fans for two decades now, together with his friends, including his faithful BFF starfish Patrick Star and cranky co-worker Squidward Tentacles. In July 1999, the very first episode of SpongeBob SquarePants flickered on television screens across the U.S.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of SpongeBob SquarePants, Nickelodeon, MTV and Comedy Central in Germany will dedicate a whole weekend to the iconic yellow bundle of joy, beginning Friday 12th July 2019!

On Friday 12th July 2019, Nickelodeon (Germany, Switzerland and Austria), MTV and Comedy Central will pay tribute to the world's most popular sponge and air SpongeBob Schwammkopf across all three channels. Whilst Nickelodeon (06:05 Uhr - 20:50 Uhr; 21:00 Uhr - 04:20 Uhr) and Comedy Central (from 06:00 Uhr - 00:00 Uhr) will dedicate the day to the most popular and funniest episodes, MTV will be all about the musical episodes. In an MTV Most Wanted special, MTV will showcase the most popular musical episodes of the series between 19:15 Uhr to 22:10 Uhr, including the legendary episode "Band Geeks", featuring the hit song "Sweet Victory", which, thanks to over one million fans, became part of this year's Super Bowl halftime show!

The celebration continues with the 48-hour SpongeBob Live-Show, airing on Nick over Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th July 2019! In honour of SpongeBob Schwammkopf's 20th anniversary, Nick will be hosting the SpongeBob Live-Show. Live from a glass studio, Nickelodeon presenter Sascha Quade (TOY TOY TOY – Die Unboxing Show) will be sending sponge-tastic greetings to all of SpongeBob's fans and viewers. In his studio on the Marlene-Dietrich-Platz in the centre of Berlin, he will invite illustrious guests to talk about SpongeBob Schwammkopf and to play hilarious games. There will also be special musical performances. On Saturday and Sunday starting at 12:00 Uhr, Nick will broadcast live to the studio on the hour, allowing Sascha to invite the audience to interact and participate in all the action live. Viewers can find out what's happening throughout the weekend online at spongebob.de. Nickelodeon will also broadcast SpongeBob SquarePants throughout the weekend throughout the live show.

A special highlight is the premiere of the special “SpongeBob’s Big Birthday Blowout" on Saturday 13th July 2019 at 19:10 Uhr, where SpongeBob reunites with guest star David Hasselhoff (Baywatch)! Nickelodeon USA to Premiere 'American Ninja Warrior' on Monday, August 12, 2019

Nickelodeon USA will start to premiere NBC’s three-time Emmy Award-nominated reality series American Ninja Warrior on Monday, August 12, 2019 at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT)! The series will launch on Nick with it's eighth season (11th season overall), which started airing earlier this summer on NBC.

Hosted by Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbajabiamila, the action-packed series follows competitors as they tackle challenging obstacle courses in city qualifying and finals rounds throughout the U.S. Top competitors in each of the city finals rounds move onto the national finals, where they compete on a four-stage course that includes multiple obstacles on each stage. The winner, who must complete all four stages, including the final 75-foot rope climb, will take home a grand prize of $1 million.

In addition, the ninja to go the farthest on the national finals course wins $100,000. Last season’s inaugural “last ninja standing” was American Ninja Warrior veteran Drew Drechsel. Drechsel has competed on eight seasons of the show to date and recently served as the captain for Team USA on the show’s annual “USA Vs. the World” telecast.

For season 8, the highly popular obstacle course competition series filmed in six cities during Spring, including Los Angeles (Universal Studios backlot), Atlanta (The Home Depot Backyard at Mercedes Benz Stadium), Oklahoma City (State Capitol Building), Baltimore (Rash Field) and Cincinnati (downtown), along with its inaugural trip to the Pacific Northwest and its first time shooting indoors at Washington’s iconic Tacoma Dome. The show’s national finals will once again take place in Las Vegas.

The season eight premiere of American Ninja Warrior, "Los Angeles Qualifier Part 1" features the qualifying round from Los Angeles, CA - Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbaja-Biamila host while Kristine Leahy co-hosts.

In season seven, American Ninja Warrior introduced several new twists, including lowering the competitors’ age limit to 19, which ushered in a new generation of strong, swift ninjas, and the fan-favorite 18-foot mega-warped wall, which offered competitors a chance to instantly win $10,000.

This season also brings some new, significant changes to the course and the game play, including new rules for the mega-warped wall and never-before-seen obstacles.

NBC’s summertime staple is always a strong ratings performer. In 2018, American Ninja Warrior delivered a 1.3 rating in adults 18-49 and 5.9 million viewers overall in “live plus seven day” Nielsens, scoring as the most-watched broadcast of the night with each of its final five telecasts of the summer. The show consistently generated top-10 rankings among primetime shows on the Big 4 networks in numerous key demographics, including a #3 ranking among kids 2-11 behind only the two editions of America’s Got Talent.

Based on the global hit Sasuke, from Tokyo Broadcasting System Television, the original series is now in its 36th season in Japan.

Nickelodeon Assembles Writing Team for New Animated 'Star Trek' Series

On Twitter, the Hageman’s tweeted, “Every ship needs a crew. Welcome aboard! We are proud to announce our very talented Writers’ Room for @Nickelodeon‘s untitled @StarTrek animated show.”

The show’s writers’ room includes Julie and Shawna Benson, former writers of Green Arrow and Batgirl & the Birds of Prey for DC Comics, and executive story editors on The 100; Chad Quandt and Aaron Waltke, whose credits include Trollhunters, Unikitty and Teen Titans Go!; Erin McNamara; Keith Sweet; Lisa Boyd (The Last Airbender); Diandra Pendle-Thompson; and Nikhil Jayaram.

Debuting exclusively on Nickelodeon, the series expands the “Star Trek” universe for a new generation of fans. The new original CG-animated series follows a group of lawless teens who discover a derelict Starfleet ship and use it to search for adventure, meaning and salvation.

The series will be from CBS’ Eye Animation Productions, CBS Television Studios’ new animation arm; Secret Hideout; and Roddenberry Entertainment. Alex Kurtzman, Heather Kadin, Katie Krentz, Rod Roddenberry and Trevor Roth will serve as executive producers alongside Kevin and Dan Hageman. Aaron Baiers will serve as a co-executive producer.

Star Trek producer Alex Kurtzman recently offered an update on the upcoming animated series. "The Hageman brothers are doing [an animated] show for Nickelodeon, and that will be entirely different from Lower Decks," Kurtzman said. "I won’t announce the name of the Nickelodeon show, but that’s a really different show. That’s a show that’s for kids, younger. Full CG animation. It’s going to be incredibly cinematic. We just started seeing [storyboards] this week. It looks like, wow. It’s on par with Love, Death, and Robots in terms of beauty and lighting and cinema, so it’s a really different feel, and Nickelodeon has been wildly supportive and I think very excited to bring a new energy to TV, you know, in animation.

"Animation is in an incredible, glorious renaissance right now." Kurtzman continued. "Between [Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse] which just blew everything open and everything Pixar’s been doing for so very long, I think what I’m excited about in the world of animation is to try all these different things to see what feels Trek."

“Star Trek, Nickelodeon, and the state of animation are doing incredibly ambitious things as of late. We couldn’t be more excited to jump aboard,” the Hagemans said in a statement when the series was greenlit.

“Star Trek’s mission is to inspire generations of dreamers to build a brighter future. Dan and Kevin have crafted a story that honors its exploratory spirit in a way that’s never been done before, while the Nickelodeon team blew us away with their excitement at bringing Trek to a younger generation around the world.”

The series is being developed Emmy Award-winning brothers the Hagemans, who have written and produced some of the biggest animated franchises in film and television. They served as co-executive producers on the Emmy Award-winning series Trollhunters, co-created the hit The LEGO Movie, wrote and executive produced LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu and developed the theatrical The Lego Ninjago Movie. Additional credits include Hotel Transylvania (story creators) and The Croods 2 (writers), along with the upcoming live-action feature Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark (writers). Studios involved include CBS’ new animation arm Eye Animation Productions, Alex Kurtzman’s Secret Hideout, and Roddenberry Entertainment. The series is being overseen by Ramsey Naito, Nickelodeon’s Executive Vice President (EVP) of Production and Development. Claudia Spinelli, VP Animation Development, Nickelodeon, is the executive in charge of the new animated Star Trek series for Nickelodeon.

The animated series is the newest addition to the expanding Star Trek television universe. It joins Star Trek: Discovery and Star Trek: Short Treks, a series of short stories tied to Discovery; the new Star Trek: Picard series featuring Sir Patrick Stewart (American Dad) reprising his iconic role as Jean-Luc Picard; Star Trek: Lower Decks from Mike McMahan (Rick and Morty), an animated series targeted at mature audiences; and a new Star Trek project based on Section 31, which is in development with Michelle Yeoh attached to star. All these projects, except the new Nickelodeon edition, are on the CBS streaming platform CBS All Access in the U.S.

The new Star Trek series is the third animated series from CBS Television Studios, following Star Trek: Lower Decks for CBS All Access and Our Cartoon President for SHOWTIME.
