Jamie Lynn Spears is taking us back to Pacific Coast Academy for a nostalgic throwback, and also setting the record straight about the reason that her hit Nickelodeon series Zoey 101 really came to an end.

Jan. 9, 2019 marked the 14th anniversary of Zoey 101, the beloved teen drama that made Jamie Lynn Spears a star in her own right, and Spears celebrated the occasion by reposting the show's iconic theme song. But Jamie Lynn Spears'Instagram about Zoey 101 did more than just celebrate the past — she also revealed the real reason why the series got canceled.

It has officially been 14 years since Zoey Brooks first arrived at Pacific Coast Academy, even though it may not feel like it was that long ago. Zoey 101 premiered at the start of 2005. The series aired along other nostalgic live-action favorites from the network including Drake & Josh, Unfabulous, Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide, and iCarly. It also held the distinction of being Nickelodeon's most expensive production ever since it was filmed on location in Malibu. But most importantly, the show introduced fans to beloved characters like Zoey Brooks, Chase Matthews, and Logan Reese.

The Zoey 101 theme song "Follow Me" also quickly became iconic, showcasing Jamie Lynn Spears' singing talents for the first time. So it was a fitting tribute for Spears to post a snippet of the song to honor the 14th anniversary of Zoey 101's premiere.

It is a sweet, nostalgic post, but the real scoop came in the hashtags that Jamie Lynn Spears wrote in the caption. Alongside the video, Spears emphasized that Zoey 101 did not end because of her pregnancy:

“Are you ready?” she captioned the post, which features a clip from the show’s irresistible theme song. “14 years later...still a jam. #itdidNOTendbecauseofpregnancy #contractwasfinished.”

At the end of 2007, as the third season of Zoey 101 was about to finish airing, news broke that then 16-year-old Jamie Lynn Spears was pregnant by her then-boyfriend Casey Aldridge. Zoey 101 premiered its fourth season just a couple of weeks after its third season ended, and concluded the show with that as its final season. The final episode of the show aired in May of 2008 and Maddie was born in June of that same year. In addition to Maddie, Spears is also mother to 8-month-old daughter Ivey Joan, whom she shares with husband Jamie Watson. Because of the timing, fans naturally assumed that Spears' pregnancy must have been the reason for the show's abrupt cancellation. But now Jamie Lynn Spears is finally revealing the truth, it seems. According to her captions, Zoey 101 ended simply because the contracts were up after four seasons.

Shortly after Jamie Lynn formally announced her pregnancy in December 2007, Nickelodeon released a statement expressing “respect” for her “decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation.” They added, "We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn's well being."

Fans flooded the comments with support, as well as follow-up questions about that tea-filled hashtag. “Oh wow you didn’t quit because you were pregnant, you waited this long to tell us,” one follower wrote. Jamie Lynn replied, “Nope...I went home to finish high school and was going to pursue movies."

“Would the contract have been extended if not for pregnancy?” another asked. “No,” Jamie Lynn then responded.

Jamie also paid tribute to fans of the show on Instagram Stories:


The clarifications weren’t really necessary, however, because for years, Jamie Lynn has maintained that it was her decision to leave the show. When she found out she was pregnant in 2007, she had already gone home to Louisiana with the intent of graduating and planning her next move. The show had reportedly already wrapped, although there will still episodes that had yet to air. “After we wrapped shooting, I just wanted to go home to Louisiana and finish high school, be a cheerleader, all that,” she told Glamour in 2012. “Then I found out I was pregnant.”

Lots of publications got the story wrong at the time, while gossip sites speculated rudely and offensively about the reasons for her pregnancy and her child's paternity. Friendly reminder: at any age, pregnancy is not scandalous or shameful — it's also not anyone else's business.

Media outlets, meanwhile, are still misreporting this story, some as recently as this year.

While it's sad to hear that Zoey 101 was already on the chopping block before her pregnancy, Jamie Lynn's candid Instagram posts hopefully will clear things up for the future — and hey, fans wouldn't be mad at a future Zoey 101 reboot.

Speaking of reboots,tThere have been some rumblings of Zoey 101 possibly returning to television in some form in the future, especially after the cast reunited to film the "Did Did Zoey Say?" 10-year reunion video back in 2015. The 5-minute clip showed Chase learning that Zoey considered him to possibly be her soulmate while they were at PCA together, and ends on a cliffhanger of Chase running to Zoey.

In a recent interview with Teen Vogue, Jamie opened up about the possibility of reviving Zoey 101, and her answer is almost as good as the Where Are They Now short from 2015.

"I can't make those kind of decisions. I actually haven't spoken to [Dan Schneider]... I haven't spoken to really anyone yet," she said. "We would need to have an actual reunion before that would happen. I do get comments all the time about Chase looking for me."

Though Jamie admitted she doesn't have much say in the fate of the show, she at least revealed her idea of a happy ending for Zoey and Chase. "I would assume that Zoey would be doing some type of perfect job, and maybe he would be like the dad at home with the kids," she said. "I would think that would be kind of because he seems like he still would be a kid."

At least Jamie's up for the idea and since she was the star, that's a pretty solid base. Hopefully Nickelodeon and the rest of the cast picks up on her excitement and get on board.

Jamie Lynn Spears seems less focused on her acting career these days, though, so a full reboot is likely out of the question. Spears currently lives in Louisiana, where she raises her two daughters Maddie Briann Aldridge and Ivey Joan Watson with her husband Jamie Watson.

TV host Andreu Buenafuente and television, cinema and theatre actor and comedian Silvia Abril have been cast in the European Spanish version of Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon Movies' upcoming animated family-friendly film, Wonder Park!


Locally titled El Parque Mágico (Sueña a lo grande) in Spain (España), Buenafuente and Abril will voice Boomer the Bear and Greta the Boar, respectively, in the en español dub of the theatrical, set to be released in Spanish cinemas by Paramount Pictures Spain on Friday 12th April 2019.

Additionally, Spanish singer, songwriter, and actor David Bisbal will perform the song "Tú eres la magia" ("You are Magic") on the Spanish soundtrack of the movie.

In the US-English audio track of the movie, Boomer and Greta are being voiced by Ken Hudson Campbell (Aaahh!!! Real Monsters, Duckman, Home Alone) and Mila Kunis (Family Guy, A Bad Moms Christmas), respectively.

A tribute to creativity, Wonder Park tells the story of 10-year-old June, a wildly imaginative young girl who builds models of amusements parks with her mother. When her mother falls sick and has to go away for treatment. June packs away her models, and loses her sense of wonder. But one day in the woods, in a magical moment, she discovers a roller coaster car buried under ivy. It transports her to a fantasy wonder park, like the ones she used to build, populated by animals who were its past employees. But the park is broken down, abandoned and in a state of decay. With the park’s animals, June sets out to fix it and rediscover her sense of confidence and imagination, overcoming her fears.


The voice talent of the US dub of Wonder Park includes Matthew Broderick (Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Rules Don’t Apply, The Producers) as Dad, Jennifer Garner (Nine Lives, The Tribes of Palos Verdes) as Mom, Kenan Thompson (All That, Kenan & Kel, Good Burger, SNL) as Gus, Ken Jeong (Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness, Bob’s Burgers) as Cooper, Mila Kunis (Family Guy, A Bad Moms Christmas) as Greta, John Oliver (The Daily Show, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, live-action Lion King) as Steve, Sofia Mali as Young June, Brianna Denski (Momsters: When Moms Go Bad) as June, Oev Michael Urbas as Banky, Norbert Leo Butz (Bloodline) as Peanut, Kate McGregor-Stewart as Aunt Albertine, Kevin Chamberlin as Uncle Tony, Kath Soucie (Rugrats, Hey Arnold!) as Bus Counselor Shannon, and Noen Perez as Chatty Kid. Jeffrey Tambor, who in recent months has been accused of harassment, was replaced on the animated offering last month. He was replaced by Ken Hudson Campbell, who voiced Boomer the Bear.



The PG-rated film was written by Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows) from a story by Applebaum, Nemec, and Robert Gordon. Appelbaum, Nemec, and Kendra Haaland served as producers, with Karen Rosenfelt and Don Hahn executive producing. The studio hasn’t credited the film to a director after the original helmer, first-time director Dylan Brown, was fired in January 2018 following complaints of inappropriate and unwanted conduct.

Wonder Park is set for release in theatres and RealD 3D in the US on March 15th and in 2D and 3D cinemas in the UK on April 8th.

En su trayectoria profesional, Buenafuente no sólo destaca como showman en la televisión, sino también como humorista, presentador, periodista, locutor, productor de televisión y teatro, ilustrador, actor y director. Actualmente en televisión dirige y presenta el late show Late Motiv en el canal #0 de Movistar+ y en la radio dirige y copresenta junto con Berto Romero el programa de improvisación Nadie sabe nada de Cadena Ser.

No obstante, no es la primera incursión de Buenafuente en el cine, pues ha participado como productor y actor en las películas Tiempo después y El Pregón y también ha dirigido y producido el documental El culo del mundo. Como actor, anteriormente ha llevado a cabo el doblaje de la película de animación Donkey Xote, así como del documental sobre Peret Yo soy la rumba. También ha realizado numerosos cameos en películas.

En relación a Silvia Abril, comenzó su carrera en el teatro y saltó a la televisión nacional gracias al popular formato de sketches Homo Zapping continuando con los programas Buenas noches y Buenafuente, En el aire y las ficciones Pelotas, La escobilla nacional o Palomitas.

De la mano de Javier Ruiz Caldera interpretó el primer papel protagonista en Spanish Movie siguiendo en posteriores producciones del director, Promoción Fantasma, Tres bodas de más y Anacleto: Agente Secreto, así como Una pistola en cada mano de Cesc Gay, entre otras. Nickelodeon, the number-one entertainment brand for kids, has announced that they are looking for entrants for the networks 20th annual Nickelodeon Writing Program (2019 – 2020)!


Nickelodeon's global Writing Program, which receives over 1,400 applications each year, is one of the best in the biz, and offers aspiring television writers, with diverse backgrounds and experiences, the amazing opportunity to hone their skills while writing for Nickelodeon's live action and animation shows. Consider the facts: alum have gone on to create their own Nickelodeon shows and write for all sorts of TV series and films.

While in the Program, writers meet Nickelodeon's series creators, story editors and showrunners, work in writers’ rooms, attend pitches, records, show tapings and more, and receive hands-on experience writing spec scripts and pitching story ideas in both live action and animated television. Basically, they write a lot and do lots of cool things, all while being provided a salary!

There are two creative avenues to pursue: the General Track (12-months) and the Preschool Track (6-months).

GENERAL TRACK

The Nickelodeon Writing Program offers emerging television writers from around the world a paid opportunity to develop their craft and launch their careers.

While in the Program, writers hone their skills, build a professional network and gain real-world experience in writers’ rooms for our critically acclaimed live-action and animated shows. The General Track is a 12-month commitment. Your submission must include a spec script based on a show from the General track's Accepted Shows List.

PRESCHOOL TRACK

The Preschool Track was created to develop writers specifically interested in writing and/or creating shows for the preschool demographic, and offers talent development opportunities with a focus on Nick Jr. content. Participants will bring the smart, funny, engaging stories and characters, and Nick will help them bring the preschool. The Preschool Track is a 6-month commitment. If you’re interested in writing for an audience who’s smart, funny, and likes to laugh and play this is the opportunity for you!

Each participant in the Nickelodeon Writing Program also joins an alumni group of people who have gone on to hold freelance and staff positions at various networks like Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, Disney Channel, Kids' WB!, ABC, FOX, PBS, Cartoon Network and the CW. Notable graduates include creators, co-executive producers and writers Jonathan Butler and Gabriel Garza of Nickelodeon's hit live-action comedy series Bella and the Bulldogs.

For the sixth year running, Nickelodeon will also be looking to unearth new writing talent internationally in 2019. In tandem with the domestic branch of the Nickelodeon Writing Program, the international branch is well on its way to becoming one of the best in the biz.

The Nick Writing Program 2019 – 2020 submission period is now open and closes midnight on Thursday 31st January 2019! This includes the Domestic and the International branches of the Program.

The Program, established in 2000, was developed to broaden Nickelodeon's outreach efforts, provides a salaried position for up to one year based in Los Angeles, California (Domestic) and a salaried position for up to six months based internationally.

Entrants to the 2019-2020 Nickelodeon Writing Program must be aged 18 years or older. If you have previously applied to the Program and have not been selected, you are welcome and encouraged to apply again. However, for consideration in the 2019-2020 Writing Program, you are required to submit a different spec script for each new submission period. You may also submit to General Track and Preschool Track of the program. Applicants to the international track of the 2019-2020 Nickelodeon Writing Program must be eligible for a J-1 visa.

Hollywood, CA, January 10, 2019 – On November 26, 2018, the world said goodbye to the gifted Stephen Hillenburg, the creator of the globally beloved “SpongeBob SquarePants,” an animated cartoon character who lives in “a pineapple under the sea,” and has been entertaining the world consistently since making his first appearance on the Nickelodeon cable TV network on May 1, 1995. The cause of Hillenburg’s death was ALS.

As a tribute to Hillenburg’s legacy, and his contributions to a generation of children, a petition has been launched at Change.org calling for APM Music’s iconic production music track "Sweet Victory," featured within the "Band Geeks" episode of "SpongeBob Square Pants," to be performed during the Halftime Show at SuperBowl LIII, in Atlanta, airing on CBS, February 3, 2019. “Sweet Victory” was co-written in 1997 by David Glen Eisley, a veteran hard-rock singer who fronted the bands Giuffria and Dirty White Boy in the 1980s, and Bob Kulick, a guitarist who has worked with Lou Reed, KISS, W.A.S.P., and Michael Bolton, among others. “Sweet Victory” was released in 1998 by APM Music on their Bruton Music Library album “American Games,” and has become one of the most well-known and iconic songs in the “SpongeBob” repertoire.

APM Music has had a long relationship with Nickelodeon, and has long been a vital part of the sound of the “SpongeBob” series since the show’s inception.

In Hillenburg’s honor, APM Music is donating a portion of revenues from the song “Sweet Victory” to the ALS Association.

Taylor adds, “APM provided music for the very first episode of ‘SpongeBob,’ right after we received our reference copy on VHS tape, and it’s been an honor for us to have supplied music for every season of this landmark children’s program since its debut. We send our deep condolences to Stephen’s family and friends - he will be remembered and missed.”

APM Music also played a role in the making of the SpongeBob SquarePants Movie (2004), with the original score for that film having been composed by APM Music’s Gregor Narholz, composer and producer for the Sonoton Production Music Library. The movie also included a number of additional APM Music tracks as well.

David Glen Eisley and Bob Kulick recently reminisced about their collaboration on the making of “Sweet Victory”:

Says Kulick, “Dave and I wanted to write something that would be an inspirational song in the same way that some rock songs have become iconic within the sports field, for example the Queen song ‘We Are the Champions,’ and the song ‘Eye of the Tiger’ from the ‘Rocky’ movies. These songs have become anthems that touch people in an inspirational way. ‘Sweet Victory’ was our power ballad entry into this area. As soon as we recorded the track, we knew it was something monumental, especially given Dave’s great voice. In fact, we were told that Nickelodeon even had the ‘Band Geeks’ episode written specifically to highlight the song, and it became the most dramatic song ‘SpongeBob’ ever sang.”

Adds Eisley, “When I came up with the line: ‘You don’t win no silver, you only lose the gold,’ that became the hook for the song – it expanded out from there. After that line came to me, the rest of the song began to reveal itself. The idea behind it was, ‘If you get knocked down, you get back up, and if you really try hard enough, at the end of the day you can pull a rabbit out of the hat.’”

“The first time I watched that ‘SpongeBob’ episode, I was in shock! You rarely see a needledrop track used within a TV series by having the lead character of the series actually singing it. Tracks like these are usually used as background music. Remarkably, this song BECAME the scene itself. ‘SpongeBob’s’ performance and the reactions of his fellow animated characters while he’s singing the song were so great, my mouth dropped open. The scene presented a really clever adaptation of both the song and the emotion behind it,” Kulick adds.

Said Eisley, “Back in 1998, I was watching TV in the living room when my daughter, India, about eight at the time, came running in from her room, yelling, “The sponge is singing, and it’s your voice!” I watched the episode with her, and just scratched my head. It was pretty bizarre to see that little yellow guy perform so passionately with my voice – it was funny, but kind of startling at the same time.”

The “SpongeBob” producers picked “Sweet Victory” from a catalog of tunes at APM Music, which administers the song in the United States and Canada.

Kulick and Eisley are amazed that a song they wrote 20 years ago continues to resonate so widely—and that an online petition has brought it so much renewed attention. “Even people who are not fans of the style of music that Dave and I do, if you tell them that we wrote ‘Sweet Victory,’ they’ll say, ‘I know that song!’” says Kulick. “It’s touching a lot of people, way, way beyond anything we ever could have imagined. I never realized the magnitude of what this song meant to so many people from all over the world,” Eisley notes.

The two men have just re-recorded and remixed two NEW updated versions of the song, one of which features a complete orchestra. And while they’d be happy—thrilled, even—to perform it at the Super Bowl (“It would be so cool if the original voice and the original guitarist both could play it there!” Eisley enthuses), the composers say they want to make sure that no matter what happens, the song stands as a tribute to Stephen Hillenburg’s memory. “We’re open to doing whatever would make sense to honor him, and put the song out there as something really positive. That, to us, is the most important thing about it,” they conclude.

The under-‘Doug’: the story of Nickelodeon’s enduring cartoon


“Dear Journal ... Hi, it’s me, Doug.”

For kids growing up in the 1990s, Nickelodeon’s Doug was the animated show that represented all the anxieties of adolescent life. Unlike the flashy, more bombastic cartoons of the era, Doug focused on an imaginative 11-year-old kid dealing with everyday problems.


The show was created by cartoonist Jim Jinkins, who gave the show a distinctly quirky look, a minimalist sound and a strong moral center. “If you were a film theorist you would call this the auteur-driven cartoon,” says Linda Simensky, who worked in Nickelodeon’s animation department at the time.


In this oral history by Studio 360, the staff behind the scenes — Jinkins, Fred Newman (actor/composer), Yvette Kaplan (animation director), Ken Scarborough (head writer), Kenneth Lonergan (writer) and Constance Shulman (actor) — talk about creating the show, its most controversial episode and the show’s enduring legacy. And comedian Wes Hazard and other fans reflect on the impact that Doug had on them growing up.

Kally’s MashUp is inspired by the real-life musical journey of Glee’s executive musical producer, Adam Anders. It follows the adventures of Kally, a young musical prodigy who tries to balance her life as a piano virtuoso and a regular girl when she moves from a small town to the most prestigious music university in the country. Although everyone thinks she was born to be a classical piano player, her true dream and passion is to be a pop star. Kally’s MashUp features original songs composed by Anders, his wife Nikki Anders, and longtime collaborator Peer Astrom. Anders serves as executive producer for the show and oversees all the music featured in the series.

A new line of consumer products inspired by the popular series was released earlier this year. "Kally's MashUp: La música: banda sonora original de la serie de TV", a album featuring 18 songs from the hit TV show, was released on Friday 9th March 2018 by Deep Well Records, under exclusive license to Sony Music Entertainment US Latin LLC. Viacom Internacional Studios presentó su nueva serie teen musical, Club 57, en coproducción con Rainbow Group de Italia con un impresionante despliegue de talentos a lo largo de los variados sets de grabación en Miami.


A la cita de presentación acudieron Iginio Straffi, Fundador y CEO de Rainbow, y Luca Milano, Director de la RAI de Italia, quienes dieron palabras de elogio a la directiva, a talentos de la serie y a el equipo de producción, a lo largo de un tour de más de 2 horas en los estudios de Viacom Internacional en la ciudad de Miami.

Ante la consulta sobre el futuro de la compañía y la posibilidad de convertirse en una OTT, Pierluigi Gazzolo señaló: 'Creemos en ser dueños de contenidos, en ser productores de un volumen importante de series de calidad y donde vemos a Amazon, Netflix y otros actores como socios en la distribución de los contenidos, de allí la trascendencia de lo que hacemos'.


Esta visión es compartida por Straffi y Milano, quienes expresaron que estudios recientes, cualitativos y cuantitativos, destacan que, en la medida que las OTT crezcan aumentará en paralelo la demanda de contenidos de calidad y para eso es que preparan nuevos materiales a ser distribuidos.

Crecimiento de ingresos de VIS refuerza tesis del contenido premium

Entre los años 2017 y 2018 los ingresos de Viacom Internacional Estudios crecieron en 60% y la proyección es de 45% para 2019. 'El futuro es el VOD, y en VIS estamos enfocados en producir contenidos de calidad para llenar todas las plataformas disponibles de nuestros clientes y aliados y seguir presentes en la vida de nuestro público', finalizó Gazzolo.

Club 57 será grabada en escenarios de Puglia, Italia, y en Viacom International Studios en la ciudad de Miami, bajo la responsabilidad de Miriam Luciow, VP Producción y Desarrollo Nickelodeon y Viacom Internacional Estudios. Es una propuesta juvenil donde el español y el italiano se unen en música y por el amor de los protagonistas, quienes viajan en el tiempo (1957 y el presente) y entre lenguas diferentes.


La serie presenta un reparto panregional encabezado por la actriz venezolana Evaluna Montaner, el actor italiano Riccardo Frascari, el colombiano Sebastian Silva, el mexicano Martin Barba, la venezolana Angela Rincon y la chilena Carolina Mestrovic, entre otros. Además, el reparto también incluye a la cubanoamericana Isabella Castillo y al actor colombiano Andrés Mercado, quienes regresan a la pantalla de Nickelodeon luego de su participación en Yo Soy Franky, Vikki RPM y Grachi.


La música para la serie estará compuesta y producida por el cantautor argentino-venezolano Ricardo Montaner, los cantautores Mau y Ricky, y el colombiano Camilo Echeverri.

Nickelodeon Latin America (Latinoamérica), a Viacom International Studios (VIS) unit, has kicked off production on its brand-new Latino fictional music series Club 57 (60 x '60) in Italy!


Nickelodeon Latin America’s first co-production with Iginio Straffi’s Rainbow Group, Club 57 boasts a pan-regional cast and began taping mid-September 2018 on location in Puglia, Italy to later continue production at the Viacom International Studios in Miami, Florida. The show can be seen as further evidence of production studios increasing globalization of content, as well as Viacom’s drive to produce for and with third-party companies.

Club 57 revolves around teens Eva and her brother Ruben who accidentally travel to 1957. Not unlike the 1985 hit Back to the Future, Eva falls in love and decides to stay, but her decision triggers a butterfly effect that would change their lives for the worse, not improve them.


Combining music, dance and time-traveling adventures, Eva must now find a way to return to the present day without giving up her first love.

Club 57 is created by Catharina Ledoboer who has penned multiple tween/teen hits for Nickelodeon, including I Am Frankie (two seasons), Every Witch Way (four seasons), WITS Academy (one season) and Talia in the Kitchen (two seasons) for Nickelodeon US; and Grachi (three seasons) and Vikki RPM (one season) for Nickelodeon Latin America. (Every Witch Way, I Am Frankie and Talia in the Kitchen are also based on successful Nickelodeon Latin America formats.)


Venezuelan actress Eva Luna Montaner, in the role of Eva, plays opposite Italian actor Riccardo Frasari as her first love, JJ.

The rest of the cast includes Colombia’s Sebastian Silva who plays Eva’s brother, Rubén, Mexico’s Martin Barba playing Aurek, Venezuelan actress Angela Rincon as Sofia and from Chile, Carolina Mestrovic in the role of Vero, among others.

Other cast members include Cuban-American actress Isabella Castillo and Colombian actor Andres Mercado who return to the Nickelodeon screen after their participation in Nickelodeon Latin America’s Yo Soy Franky, Vikki RPM, and Grachi.

Multi-nommed Grammy artist Ricardo Montaner leads the team that will produce and compose the music for the series.

Viacom International Media Networks – Americas (VIMN) is showcasing Club 57, along with Nickelodeon Latinoamérica's latest hit Noobies, a Colombian live-action novela about a girl forming her E-Sports team, and Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Nickelodeon’s reimagined series of its iconic franchise, at MIPJunior 2018 and MIPCOM, taking place in Cannes,France starting Saturday 13th October 2018.

Viacom International Studios (VIS) anunció este viernes 12 de octubre el inicio de grabaciones de la primera coproducción de Nickelodeon Latinoamérica y Rainbow Group, la serie de ficción y música, Club 57 (60 x 60’).

El rodaje, que comenzó a mediados de septiembre en la región de Puglia, en la costa italiana -el cual contó con diversos escenarios naturales y locaciones exteriores- continuará a lo largo de los próximos meses en los estudios de Viacom International Studios (VIS) en Miami (EEUU).

Club 57 sigue las aventuras de Eva y su hermano Rubén, quienes accidentalmente se transportan al año 1957. Hacen todo lo posible para volver a casa, hasta que Eva se enamora de JJ y decide quedarse en el pasado, desencadenando un efecto mariposa que cambia sus vidas para peor en vez de mejor.

Con una mezcla de música, baile y aventuras de viajes en el tiempo, Eva debe ahora ingeniarse la manera de volver al presente sin renunciar a su primer amor.

Viacom International Studios inicia rodaje de serie musical Club 57

Viacom International Studios (VIS) anunció el inicio de grabaciones de la serie de ficción y música, Club 57, la primera coproducción de Nickelodeon Latinoamérica y Rainbow Group.

El rodaje, que comenzó a mediados de septiembre en la región de Puglia, en la costa Italiana, el cual contó con diversos escenarios naturales y locaciones exteriores, continuará a lo largo de los próximos meses en los estudios de VIS en Miami, Florida.

Club 57 sigue las aventuras de Eva y su hermano Rubén, quienes accidentalmente se transportan al año 1957. Hacen todo lo posible para volver a casa, hasta que Eva se enamora de JJ y decide quedarse en el pasado, desencadenando un efecto mariposa que cambia sus vidas para peor en vez de mejor. Con una mezcla de música, baile y aventuras de viajes en el tiempo, Eva debe ahora ingeniarse la manera de volver al presente sin renunciar a su primer amor.

La serie cuenta con un gran elenco panregional, encabezado por la actriz venezolana, Eva Luna Montaner, en el rol de Eva, el actor Italiano Riccardo Frasari como JJ, el colombiano Sebastian Silva interpretando a Rubén, el mexicano Martin Barba interpretando a Aurek, la venezolana Angela Rincon como Sofia y la chilena Carolina Mestrovic en el rol de Vero, entre otros.

Club 57 contará con una banda sonora compuesta y producida por el cantautor argentino-venezolano Ricardo Montaner, multi-nominado a los Premios Grammy's y galardonado con el "Premio Grammy Latino a La Excelencia Musical" y un premio Billboard, los autores y productores Mau y Ricky, nominados a los Latin Grammy's 2017 en la categoría "Mejor Artista Nuevo", y el cantautor colombiano, Camilo Echeverri.

Ricardo Montaner no es el único de su familia que cosecha éxitos. Sus hijos Mau y Ricky saltaron a la fama junto a Sebastián Yatra, y ahora su hija Evaluna protagonizará la nueva serie "Club 57", de Nickelodeon Latinoamérica, que ya se filma en los bellísimos paisajes de la región de Puglia, en la costa de Italia.

Fue el propio Montaner quien compartió su alegría en Twitter por el presente laboral de su hija.

Si bien ya participó de la exitosa novela juvenil Grachi (como Melanie Esquivel, la hermana de la protagonista), según lo reflejó Teleshow, este será el debut de Evaluna como figura principal de un gran elenco internacional, en la primera coproducción de Nickelodeon Latinoamérica y Rainbow Group.

Nacida en Venezuela, pero criada en Miami, adonde se mudó con su familia cuando tenía apenas cuatro años.

En "Club 57", Eva (el personaje de Evaluna) se transportará de manera accidental al año 1957. Lo hará junto a su hermano Rubén (interpretado por el colombiano Sebastián Silva). Y los dos buscarán la manera de regresar al presente hasta que surgirá un inconveniente: Eva se enamorará de JJ (el italiano Riccardo Frasari).

A los 21 años, la menor del clan de artistas estará al frente del “Club 57”, la nueva serie juvenil de Nickelodeon, que se estrenará en mayo. Cómo es su camino repartido entre la música y la actuación.


Hija de un cantante y una cineasta, con tres de sus cuatro hermanos dedicados a la música, Evaluna, la menor del clan Montaner, siempre supo que su vida iba a estar ligada al negocio del entretenimiento: “A los cuatro años me metieron en clases de baile y de piano, y a los doce empecé a cantar con mi papá en sus conciertos. A los quince grabé una canción con él y empezó mi carrera de cantante”.

Casi al mismo tiempo empezó a actuar: “Hace siete años empecé mi carrera como actriz en Nickelodeon, con una serie llamada Grachi. Después tomé clases de actuación en Los Angeles y en Nueva York. De alguna manera ya me estaba preparando para esto”. “Esto” es su primer protagónico, que le llega a los 21 años en otra serie juvenil de Nickelodeon, Club 57, que se estrenará en mayo. Como para ir presentándola en sociedad, estuvo en La voz argentina (Telefe) cantando Me va a extrañar a dúo con su papá, Ricardo.



-¿Cómo llevás ser “la hija de”?

-Nunca he sufrido con eso. Tomo como un halago y un lujo poder ser hija de mi papá. Es una responsabilidad muy grande poder probar que sé actuar y cantar, y que no estoy donde estoy sólo porque mi papá tiene buenos contactos. Siempre digo mi apellido con muchísimo orgullo: me encanta que la gente sepa que soy hija de mi papá, porque él es tan bueno que me siento muy orgullosa de ser su hija.

-Hablando sobre sus hijos, una vez él dijo “al final del día, cuando llegas a la cama sabes si conseguiste lo que tienes por tu propio mérito o no”. ¿Qué pensás cuando te acostás?

-Todavía me siento tan chiquita frente a tantas cosas, que cuando me acuesto no puedo creer estar cumpliendo lo que siempre he querido. Siento agradecimiento con Dios y con mi familia, porque mucho de lo que sé es por mis papás, porque me metieron en clases de chiquita y me llevaron por este camino. Porque lo quise, no porque me hayan forzado.



-Tu papá también dice que la de ustedes es una familia que se "invade" mutuamente.

-Es una muy buena palabra: nos "invadimos". Toda la vida iba a los planes que tenían mis hermanos: siempre me juntaba con los amigos de ellos, aunque no quisieran. En Miami se maneja a los 15, pero yo aprendí a manejar más grandecita, a los 18, porque siempre íbamos juntos, así que no necesitaba manejar para ningún lado. Mis amigos eran sus amigos. Soy muy buena hermana y con mis hermanos tenemos una relación impresionante. Con los más grandes también, y con mis sobrinitos. Mis papás estuvieron viviendo en Argentina un tiempo, por La Voz Argentina, y eso marcó una etapa diferente de mi vida: no sé qué es estar lejos de ellos, siempre estamos completamente invadidos. Nuestra familia es una belleza, es unidísima.

-Naciste en Venezuela, creciste en Miami, viviste en Los Ángeles. ¿Dónde están tus raíces?

-Siento que soy venezolana. Y si me escuchan el acento, pueden darse cuenta de que soy muy caraqueña. Pero he pasado 17 años de mi vida en Miami y ése es mi hogar, aunque haya estado yendo y viniendo. Acá a la Argentina he venido muchas veces, y por temporadas largas.

-¿Cuál es tu vínculo con la Argentina?

-Mi mejor amiga vive aquí, la conocí en Miami y se mudó para acá. Es una excusa más para visitar este país que tanto amo. Durante mucho tiempo tuve que venir todos los años, como tres o cuatro meses, cuando mi papá hacía giras por acá. Viviría aquí feliz de la vida: amo Argentina, me encanta la gente, la comida… Y cada vez descubro lugares nuevos.



-¿Estuviste en Valentín Alsina?

-Sí, claro, muchas veces mi papá nos llevó para allá para conocer su lugar de origen. Nos mostraba el colegio, la casa de sus papás, la casa de la familia, la panadería, el puente, todo. Siempre es una experiencia bonita y emotiva ir para allá.

-Mencionaste a Dios y hacés música cristiana. ¿Cuál es la importancia de la religión en tu carrera?

-Dios es el centro de todo. Y es mi prioridad. Todo lo que hago lo hago pensando en lo que "él" quiere para mí. Ha sido clave en mi vida, para llegar a lugares muy bonitos y seguir teniendo una gran relación con mi familia. Dios nos une porque lo tenemos en común.

-¿Rechazarías un papel si no estuviera de acuerdo con tus valores religiosos?

-Depende. Si en un papel tengo que negar mis creencias, no me gustaría. Gracias a Dios me tocó un papel muy chévere en Nickelodeon, donde puedo seguir creyendo en lo que creo. Los programas son bastante light, porque son para niños, así que no tengo que hacer nada que vaya en contra de mis creencias. Pero sí me ha tocado negarme a muchos castings, porque no iban conmigo.

-Este año acá hubo un gran movimiento por la legalización del aborto. ¿Cuál es tu postura?

-Es un tema muy complicado. Si no lo legalizan, se sigue haciendo, pero mal. Pero soy provida, así que no me gusta el aborto. Prefiero no meterme y no tomar ninguna postura.

-¿Es cierto que te estás por casar? ¿Qué te llevó a decidirlo tan joven?

-Sí, mira (muestra el anillo de compromiso). Me voy a casar, mi novio me propuso matrimonio hace un par de meses. Ser mamá y ser esposa siempre ha sido mi sueño. A los que me dicen que soy muy chiquita, les digo que es cierto: tengo 21 años. Pero si su sueño fuera ganarse un Grammy, querrían ganarlo lo antes posible, ¿verdad? Bueno, mi sueño es casarme, así que quiero casarme muy pronto.

Protagonista de "Club 57"
Club 57, que se verá al aire en mayo, cuenta una historia con perfume a Volver al futuro. Allí, Evaluna Montaner será Eva, una chica que accidentalmente viaja en el tiempo al año 1957. “Mi personaje y yo tenemos muchas cosas en común, empezando por el nombre. Ella es súper divertida, inteligente y le encanta la ciencia. Cuando llega a los años ’50 quiere volver a la actualidad, pero después de un tiempo se enamora de un chico y por eso ya no se quiere ir y busca la manera de quedarse. Pero cualquier cosa que haga en el pasado hace que cambie algo en el futuro”.

Como se trata de una tira musical, además de actuar, Evaluna también cantará y bailará. La banda sonora queda en familia: en ese rubro trabajaron su papá, sus hermanos Mau y Ricky y su futuro marido, el colombiano Camilo Echeverry.

Su opinión sobre el trabajo de Ricardo Montaner en "La voz argentina"
Evaluna participó como conductora de un programa vinculado a La voz Colombia y estuvo muy compenetrada con La voz Argentina. “Lo vi desde Miami. Los realities cambian la vida de las personas: sucedió en La voz Colombia y siento que eso sucedió aquí en la Argentina. Y lo que hizo mi papá fue espectacular. Amé cómo fue como coach: igualito a cómo es con nosotros, trató a los cantantes de su equipo como hijos. Cuando se iba alguien le dolía muchísimo. Nos escribía en la noche: ‘Estoy muy triste porque se fue fulano’. Fue muy chévere verlo en su zona de confort, pudiendo ser él mismo”. Ricardo tuvo su recompensa: el ganador del programa, Braulio Assanelli, fue parte del equipo Montaner.

Esta entrevista se hizo durante la estadía de Evaluna en Buenos Aires para participar del programa como invitada especial. Allí, junto a su padre, interpretó Me va a extrañar.

El gran momento de Mau y Ricky

“Con mis hermanos tenemos una relación impresionante”, dice Evaluna sobre Mau y Ricky, sus dos hermanos de madre y padre. Ellos forman un dúo que está pasando un gran momento profesional: el 31 de diciembre recibieron el 2019 cantando con Lali Espósito en la emblemática celebración de Times Square, en Nueva York, ante medio millón de personas. .

Cousins for Life - New Show

Nickelodeon's all-new buddy comedy series, Cousins For Life, will premiere on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2019, at 8:30 p.m. (ET/PT). The live-action series follows 12-year-old cousins and best friends Stuart (Dallas Dupree Young) and Ivy (Scarlet Spencer) as they learn to navigate life under one roof with their families in Portland, despite being from very different backgrounds. Although the cousins don’t always see eye-to-eye, they learn that they are better together, and when they team up they are unstoppable. Cousins For Life will air weekly on Saturdays at 8:30 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon.

In the premiere episode, Ivy and Stuart’s life is disrupted after their dads, Clark (Ishmel Sahid) and Lewis (Ron G.), have a disagreement and Clark ends up moving into their hangout space in the garage. It’s now their missions to resolve their dads’ argument and reclaim their space. The episode also stars Micah Abbey as Ivy’s brother Leaf, who’s always having a good time when he’s with his pet pig, Arthur.

Pinky Malinky is a brand-new fly-on-the-wall reality show that follows the everyday life of Pinky, an infectiously positive hot dog living in a human world. With his best friends Babs and JJ by his side, Pinky reaches for the stars in the small town of Sackenhack. Through his good spirits and sausage sensibilities, Pinky proves that a "wiener" is only one small letter away from being a "WINNER!"

Using the tropes of a mockumentary and reality show format, Pinky and his friends will talk directly to the camera and the audience to share their absurd and silly take on real life. At times, all children feel like they don't fit in and Pinky's undeniably unique point of view as a literal wiener amongst humans will allow kids to laugh at his familiar struggles and enjoy his unusual perspective on the challenges of being a school-aged kid. By always reaching for the stars, Pinky pushes himself further than anyone could imagine. Pinky and his friends' humorous experiences will also be shared across social media and Nickelodeon's digital platforms.

Co-created and co-executive produced by Chris Garbutt and Rikke Asbjoern (The Amazing World of Gumball) and executive produced by Scott Kreamer (Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness), the trio are a part of the Artist Collective, an internal diverse group of experienced creators who mentor and support up-and-coming talent while also collaborating to cultivate, challenge and inspire Nickelodeon's development pipeline.

Pinky Malinky will star Lucas Grabeel (Glenn Martin DDS, I Kissed A Vampire) as Pinky Malinky, Diamond White (The Haunted Hathaways) as Babs Buttman, and Nathan Kress (iCarly) as JJ Jameson.

Under the deal with Netflix, Nickelodeon is producing two seasons — 59 episodes — of Pinky Malinky for the streaming service. Although bowing on Netflix, Pinky Malinky will feature Nickelodeon branding at the show open.

Abby Hatcher - New Show

Nickelodeon’s brand-new animated preschool series, Abby Hatcher (created and produced by Spin Master Entertainment), tells the story of a little girl with a big heart who helps her friends, the amazing and quirky Fuzzly creatures, fix their mishaps, learn from their mistakes and negotiate their emotions. Premiering Tuesday, Jan. 1, at 10 a.m. (ET/PT), in the Nick Jr. preschool block, Abby Hatcher (26 episodes) features a social-emotional curriculum highlighting empathy, compassion and problem-solving skills. Following its U.S. launch, the series will roll out on Nickelodeon’s international channels and branded blocks in 2019.

In Abby Hatcher, Abby is an eternally optimistic, kind-hearted seven-year-old girl who loves to lend a helping hand to others and accepts everyone--no matter how different they are. In Abby’s world, humans coexist with Fuzzlies, incredible creatures that each have their own unique abilities that make them special, and Abby’s parents’ hotel is home to many. In the series premiere of Abby Hatcher, “When Abby Met Bozzly/Hair Flair Everywhere,” Abby meets her best Fuzzly friend Bozzly for the first time. Then, when the hotel’s salon owner Mrs. Melvin closes the salon for the day, Abby tries to help Harriet, a hair-obsessed Fuzzly, find a new hobby.

The King of Queens

Usher in the New Year with laughter as The King of Queens joins Nick at Nite beginning Tuesday, Jan. 1, at 4 a.m. (ET/PT). The series follows a blue-collared couple who fight the odds to keep it together with plenty of laughs. Following the series launch, the nine-season, 207-episode library of The King of Queens will continue to air regularly on Nick at Nite.

The King of Queens is set in Rego Park, Queens, New York, and follows Doug, a deliveryman, and his wife Carrie, a secretary at a law firm, who both live with Carrie's oddball father, Arthur. They try to make the best of what they got while striving to keep their marriage somewhat normal and getting through tiny problems that they have together, even the occasional run-in with Carrie's father.

GARDENA, CA -- Andamiro has launched a new set of nine colorful cards depicting SpongeBob SquarePants and his pals from the popular Nickelodeon television animated series, SpongeBob SquarePants. The cards further complement Andamiro's SpongeBob Pineapple Arcade, which the company reports is one of the most successful arcade games of all time.


Series No. 2 includes the same characters featured in the first card set, and the cards in both sets have the same ticket values for prize redemption operations. What's new are the character poses and color themes on the front, and the amusing "biographical" summaries on the back.

There are nine cards in each SpongeBob Pineapple Arcade collectible series. In the new set, Gary the Snail retains his top rank as the rare card, which offers the highest ticket value; the card depicts him in a new "sluggish" posture. Rounding out the featured characters, now in fresh poses, are Sandy Cheeks, Squidward Tentacles, Patrick Star, Eugene H. Krabs, Sheldon J. Plankton, Larry the Lobster, Pearl Krabs and (of course) SpongeBob SquarePants himself. Entertaining illustrations of Nickelodeon's characters adorn the front of the cards, while fun facts about these characters – "Life Goals" and "Most Likely To …" are printed on the backs. Gary's life goals are what everybody should aspire too.

Introduced four years ago, SpongeBob Pineapple Arcade is a tokens-and-cards pusher device in which the player rolls tokens down the playfield into moving pineapple targets. The pineapples (which resemble SpongeBob's famous sea-pineapple domicile) drop tokens, cards and bonus tokens onto the playfield. The cards are distributed around the playfield, and the player attempts to knock them off a support tray. A player can trade cards for tickets, or hold them until all nine have been collected – an accomplishment rewarded with a super bonus.

Andamiro reports that millions of SpongeBob cards have been sold to keep games well-stocked. "When releasing a new game, you always hope for the best," said Andamiro USA sales president Drew Maniscalco. "SpongeBob has been a very successful coin-op license, so I thought we had a good shot. We're so pleased it's become such a big hit."

Maniscalco explained that what has made SpongeBob Pineapple Arcade so successful is its rapid-fire action and collectors' appeal. "Gameplay is quick, and players love collecting the cards – especially when they see them dangling over the edge," he said. "These aspects have made the game popular among all age groups."

Operators like it too, because it has been designed to be the most competitively priced pusher/card game of its kind. "Pineapple Arcade has great value for operators," the Andamiro USA sales president added. "It is at entry-level pricing and offers swift ROI. It's a must-have for all new locations."

SpongeBob Pineapple Arcade and its cards are licensed through an agreement with Viacom's Nickelodeon network. The deal has enabled Andamiro to design, produce and market four Nickelodeon titles so far, three themed to SpongeBob, and one inspired by Nickelodeon's hit CG-animated series, PAW Patrol.

Andamiro USA will begin shipping the new SpongeBob card series this month. They will be available through authorized distributors, packed in 150-count boxes. Series Nos. 1 and 2 can be mixed in games and for redemption operations. The original series, however, will only be available while supplies last, so operators are encouraged to advise customers to purchase remaining stocks from distributors before they're gone for good.

Andamiro USA Corp. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Andamiro Co. Ltd., a Korean arcade game manufacturer founded in 1992. Andamiro designs and produces ticket redemption amusements, prize merchandisers and sports games. Nicktoons USA, Nickelodeon USA's top-rated animation and action channel, will premiere the brand-new animated series Rainbow Butterfly Unicorn Kitty on Monday, January 28, 2019 at 9:00 p.m. (ET/PT)!


Rainbow Butterfly Unicorn Kitty is animated comedic adventure about a spirited and adorable kitty named Felicity who acquires magical powers. Part Rainbow, part Butterfly, part Unicorn and 100% Kitty, Felicity goes on amazing adventures with her friends, including her best friend Miguel the Chihuahua, across a magical mashup world!

Each episode explores female empowerment and non-conformity when Felicity’s magical abilities allow her to transform with the powers imbued by her mythical makeup—she can shoot glowsticks from her paws and lasers from her unicorn horn. Athena, a book-smart owl, and Betti the Yetti round out the quirky cast of characters.

Targeted towards kids aged six to 11, this fun 2D-animated show features photo-real elements, and is filled with adventure and heart, bringing viewers a celebration of individuality and self-confidence.


Rainbow Butterfly Unicorn Kitty is produced by Saban Brands with animation by Vancouver, Canada-based Bardel Entertainment. California’s Funrise Inc. has been tapped at the property's global master toy partner and co-production partner. Funrise’s toy line will cover a number of categories including figures, playsets, plush and dress-up. Former Nickelodeon executive Rich Magallanes serves as the show's show runner/creator.

“It’s different. It’s definitely out there,” Fred Soulié, Saban Brands EVP of global distribution and consumer products, told Kidscreen. “It’s also really cute and so funny. The humor comes from the relationship between Felicity and Miguel; they’re the comedic duo.”

With balance achieved between the colorful and fantastical through Felicity and the more down-to-earth and active Miguel, Soulié expects the series to perform equally well with boys and girls.

Rainbow Butterfly Unicorn Kitty is also set to premiere on Nickelodeon South East Asia in 2019.

Saban is currently in talks with a global linear kids broadcaster, with plans to launch the show in Spring 2019. It's currently unknown whether the global kids broadcaster is Nickelodeon, however, its a strong possibly since Nick Asia also has the rights. An international rollout for the series will follow shortly thereafter. Soulié says Italian prodco Rainbow (Club 57, Winx Club, 44 Cats, Regal Academy, Maggie & Bianca Fashion Friends), which acquired Bardel in 2015, is on-board as a co-producer and will represent the property in Italy, along with a number of additional European territories.

Meanwhile, Saban has tapped California’s Funrise Toy as a global master toy partner and co-production partner. Saban is also on the hunt for additional licensees for apparel, accessories, interactive and health and beauty categories. Like the show, the CP program will target boys and girls ages six to 11.

According to Soulié, the program will reflect the personalities of each character, as well as different versions of Felicity. She transforms with the powers of her rainbow, butterfly and unicorn features, and various consumer products will represent each of these aspects of her magical abilities.

“She transforms on the show, and that will translate to the products,” Soulié says. “You’ll see different versions of the kitty in the line [depending on which of her powers are being represented], and that provides different options for kids to identify with and interact with her and the other characters.”

Rich Magallanes;, the show runner/creator of Rainbow Butterfly Unicorn Kitty, career spans over 20 years in domestic and international studio production. Prior to joining Funrise as as Senior Vice President, Development & Production for the company's new Intellectual Properties (IP) and entertainment division in December 2018, he oversaw the entire development slate and production of several shows at Saban Brands, including: Luna Petunia, Treehouse Detectives, Glitter Force and several others. Magallanes spent his former years at Nickelodeon, as the Senior Vice President of Current Series and Production, where he supervised production on a number of their top animated series, including SpongeBob SquarePants, The Fairly OddParents, Danny Phantom, Sanjay and Craig and Breadwinners, among many others.

During his time at Nickelodeon, he also co-developed the highly successful Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Tuff Puppy television shows, among others. Magallanes was also the Creative Executive integral in the DreamWorks partnership for Penguins of Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda and Monsters vs. Aliens.

Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) The Americas has announced the appointment of Ezequiel “Quelo” Fonseca Zas as its new Senior Vice President (SVP) of Emerging Business.


In this newly created position, Fonseca Zas adds to his responsibilities the development of emerging businesses on new platforms. Fonseca Zas will also continue to oversee the complete portfolio of digital products for all of Viacom's brands and business lines in Latin America, Brazil, Canada and the Hispanic market in the United States. He will also continue to report to Juan “JC” Acosta, Executive Vice President (EVP) and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of VIMN Américas.

In his new position, Fonseca Zas will be focused on developing the emerging business area for VIMN Americas. This includes the detection and development of new opportunities in the distribution of short content; in the audio, voice and music businesses; in video subscription products; in augmented and virtual reality (AR & VR); in interactive events; and in new products for YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, among others.

Fonseca Zas joined VIMN Américas in 2014 as Vice President (VP) of Digital Media and has since led the multiplatform strategy, product management, digital ad sales planning, direct consumer business development and operations for the entire Viacom brand portfolio for Latin America, Brazil, Canada and the U.S. Hispanic market (Nickelodeon, MTV, Comedy Central, Telefe Argentina, Porta dos Fundos and Paramount Channel).

Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) Nordics has announced the launch of Paramount Network Denmark (Danmark)!


Launched on Tuesday 8th January 2019, Paramount Network Danmark is the channel of big characters and big stories, offering viewers cinematic storytelling, iconic moments and non-stop action, and is targeted towards anyone who loves good stories, iconic moments and lots of action.

On Paramount Network Danmark, viewers can watch a wide range of content from Paramount's vast library of hit movies and TV shows, and well as a selection of some of the best programming from some of Viacom's biggest global brands, including Nickelodeon Danmark (via a dedicated morning programming block), Comedy Central, MTV, Channel 5 and TV Land. Programming includes Bellator, Waco, Friends, Criminals: Caught on Camera, The Daily Show, and Midnight in Paris.

Paramount Network Danmark replaces Comedy Central Danmark, however, viewers will still be able to enjoy their favourite Comedy Central content on Paramount Network.

The launch of Paramount Network Danmark follows VIMN successfully launching the Paramount+ SVOD service in the Danish market in 2018.

Paramount Network Danmark reaches 80% of Danish TV households through partner agreements with service providers such as YouSee, Stofa, Viasat, Boxer, Waoo, and Canal Digital. Paramount Network also forms part of Stofa's basic package and replaces Comedy Central's place in the basic packages of YouSee and Viasat.
