BURBANK, Calif., –Dec. 3, 2018–Nickelodeon’s Henry Danger, the number-one live-action show on TV with K2-11 and K6-11 (through 11/28/18), will pass the 100-episode mark, with an additional ten-episode pickup announced today. The order brings the series’ total to 117, making Henry Danger Nickelodeon’s longest-running live-action sitcom. Nickelodeon is currently airing Henry Danger season five.

In the 100th episode full of fan surprises, titled “Man Cave Self Destruct,” after Schwoz’s family reunion causes chaos in the Man Cave, Captain Man reveals a “Superheroes Only” room in the Man Cave for peace and quiet. Jealous, Charlotte, Jasper and Schwoz make a cooler room to show them up. As the gang fights over who gets the better room, things get blown out of proportion.

Henry Danger follows the adventures of Henry Hart (Jace Norman) who gets selected by superhero Captain Man (Cooper Barnes) to be his apprentice. After promising to keep his new identity a secret, Henry must navigate a double life balancing the challenges of high school with the crazy adventures of a crime fighter. The series also stars Riele Downs as “Charlotte Page,” Sean Ryan Fox as “Jasper Dunlop,” Ella Anderson as “Piper Hart,” Michael D. Cohen as “Schwoz Schwartz,” and Jeffrey Nicholas Brown as “Jake Hart.”

To date Nickelodeon has three live-action sitcom that have eclipsed one hundred episodes: The Thundermans reached its 100-episode milestone earlier this year; iCarly hit 100 episodes in 2012.

Christopher J. Nowak serves as showrunner and executive producer. Jake Farrow is executive producer. Henry Danger is created by Dan Schneider and Dana Olsen.

1. Watch the SpongeBob SquarePants Christmas Episode


What happens when you send a sponge into space? In this holiday special "Goons on the Moon" (aka "SpaceBob MerryPants"), Sandy takes her "Science Scout" troop on a trip to the moon, and SpongeBob becomes the first sponge to walk on the moon! 6. Dora the Explorer LIVE! Search for the City of Lost Toys in Resorts World Genting (now - 1 January 2019)


Having discovered many exotic and exciting new places through the clever solving of riddles, Dora the Explorer will now take her adventures to the stage of Resorts World Genting in this captivating production. Dora has lost her teddy bear Osito and she needs help to find him. 1st International Academic Program Delivered As Core Modules Under the Animation Degree at the School of Animation and Digital Art


BEIJING, 29 NOVEMBER 2018 – Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN), a division of Viacom Inc. (NASDAQ: VIA, VIAB), today announced the launch of a new multi-year Nickelodeon Program in kids’ animation development, in collaboration with the Communication University of China (CUC). Supported by Wellcome Forefront (Beijing) Culture Media Corp, a VIMN licensing partner, the four-week 2018 academic program launches today and was marked by an opening ceremony at the university.

The 2018 Nickelodeon program aims to help develop Chinese creative talent and attract passionate young people to work in the animation field after graduation. Students will be participating in course modules conducted by international VIMN and Nickelodeon executives who will be sharing their expertise and knowledge in research, storytelling and character development, animation skills and commercialization. It is the first international academic program, which the university is making a concerted effort to integrate these international masterclass standard courses as core modules within the undergraduate animation degree at the School of Animation and Digital Art over a formal semester.

The 2018 academic program is an expansion of the Nickelodeon program, which started as a summer workshop last year.

“The Nickelodeon program is the most extensive international academic program conducted at our university. The quality of the curriculum is exceptional with well-thought out real-world subjects like commercialization, brand management and marketing. We are grateful to have such an in-depth collaboration with both Viacom and Wellcome Forefront this year,” said Mr Duan Peng, Vice Principal, Communication University of China.

In an effort to further develop the Chinese kids animation industry, Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) has implemented a new multiyear Nickelodeon Academic Program in kids’ animation development for undergraduate students with the Communication University of China's (CUC) School of Animation and Digital Art!


The first international academic program is meant to help develop Chinese creative talent and attract passionate young people to work in the animation field after graduation. VIMN’s new training push in China follows the launch of the company’s inaugural Nickelodeon Chinese Animation Development Project last month. The five-year initiative aims to bolster animation co-productions in and with China. Backed by China’s National Radio and Television Administration, the first project will see Nickelodeon and Chinese online entertainment company iQIYI co-produce the second season of iQIYI’s original animated series Deer Run (working title).

VIMN Asia also recently partnered with Mall of China developers to co-create Nickelodeon’s first indoor theme park in Asia, which will also be its largest indoor park at nearly seven acres.

Nickelodeon has teamed up with Chinatown Market for a new line of apparel inspired by the brands' hit animated series SpongeBob SquarePants, available exclusively at Urban Outfitters!


The Chinatown Market x SpongeBob FW18 range consists of the Chinatown x SpongeBob Face Tee in black, Chinatown x SpongeBob Weenie Hut Tee in moss, Chinatown x SpongeBob Gary the Snail Tee in white, Chinatown x SpongeBob Pictogram Tee in orange and the Chinatown x SpongeBob Hoodie in white.

Encompassing a variety of graphic printed tees and a hoodie, the silhouettes are punctuated with notable characters from the show including SpongeBob, Gary the Snail and other references of the cartoon series.

Melissa Joan Hart Reveals What She Would Want to See from a 'Clarissa Explains It All' Reboot

Actor Melissa Joan Hart has revealed what she would want to see from Nickelodeon's planned Clarissa Explains It All reboot!


The original series ran for 65 episodes on Nickelodeon from 1991 to 1994 and starred the actor as Clarissa Darling, a teen who spoke directly to the audience as she tried to deal with her problems including family, boys and school.

Earlier this year, there were reports that the series was set for a reboot - with Melissa Joan Hart once again taking on the role. Only, this time, she would be playing the mum of the family.

During an appearance on People Now to promote her upcoming new Lifetime holiday movie A Very Nutty Christmas, the actor weighed in on the possible reboot - as well as what she would most like to see from the role.

She said: "It's all moving pieces; it took us years to even draw up contracts - but there's a possibility. That doesn't mean it's going to go anywhere, though."


Explaining how there were "numerous different ways" a reboot could go, Melissa added that she would like the new adaptation to be "a mother and daughter two hander kind of show" similar to Gilmore Girls.

“We were in negotiations, so there is a contract,” Hart said of a possible Clarissa return. “So that was leaked. But there is nothing right now happening with that.
