Nickelodeon USA To Air "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" Series Finale On Sunday 12th November 2017

Nickelodeon's official Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Twitter profile page, @TMNT, has announced the bittersweet news that Nickelodeon USA will air the series finale of the networks hit Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2012) series, "Wanted: Bebop & Rocksteady" on Sunday 12th November 2017, following the special making its network premiere on Nicktoons USA in October.

"Wanted: Bebop & Rocksteady is the finale. Airs on Nickelodeon on 11/12."


Although currently unconfirmed, the series finale of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, "Wanted: Bebop & Rocksteady", is expected to be a 90-minute special comprised of the final three episodes and story arc of Nickelodeon's season five anthology series, Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles:

- Wanted: Bebop & Rocksteady – When 80’s Shredder and Krang appear in our dimension, they employ Bebop & Rocksteady and find their plans are succeeding better than ever.

- The Foot Walks Again! – The Turtles must train their ’80s counterparts to face a greater threat than they’ve ever encountered.

- The Big Blow-Out – The Turtles enlist the help of the Mighty Mutanimals to stop Bebop and Rocksteady.

"Wanted: Bebop & Rocksteady" will wrap up Nickelodeon's CG-animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series before the debut of the networks brand-new 2D-animated TMNT series, Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which is expected to launch during Fall 2018. Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will follow the Heroes in A Half-Shell as they encounter new allies and villains and discover a magical world they never knew existed beneath the streets of New York City.

All three episodes of the TMNT "Wanted: Bebop & Rocksteady" story arc were recently released on DVD.

Leading up to the premiere of "Wanted: Bebop & Rocksteady", fans can watch two brand-new episodes of Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtlesevery Wednesday from 8:00pm ET/PT on Nicktoons USA.

VIACOM18 AND CHILDREN’S MOVEMENT FOR CIVIC AWARENESS (CMCA) JOIN HANDS TO FOR A CHAKACHAK MUMBAI POST GANPATI VISARJAN


The initiative was organized as a part of Viacom18’s ‘Chakachak Mumbai’ campaign that aims to bring about behavioral change around cleanliness and sanitation habits of citizens


Over 500 children participated to clean Girgaum, Juhu and Aksa Beach



Mumbai, 6th September, 2017: Aiming to be a change agent that engages communities to keep their surroundings clean, Viacom18 and young volunteers of CMCA today took up brooms and cleaned the major Ganesh Visarjan sites in Mumbai viz, Girgaum, Juhu and Aksa beaches. This is the second consecutive year of the partnership between Viacom18 and CMCA and is part of the former’s flagship CSR programme Chakachak Mumbai.

As a part of the beach clean-up drive, Nickelodeon-toon Shiva and popular artist of COLORS Marathi show ‘Comedychi GST Express’ Avdhoot Gupte joined over 500 students, to collect the waste that got washed back ashore after Ganesh immersions.

This initiative aims to sensitize children on the responsibilities that go with the celebration of festivals and its impact on the environment. In the case of Ganesh Visarjan, Nicktoon Shiva educated kids about the ill-effects of immersing POP idols in water bodies and its impact on the marine life. The kids were encouraged to buy clay idols /eco-friendly idols or immerse their POP idols in artificial ponds.

Speaking about the initiative Sonia Huria, Head Communications & CSR, Viacom18 said, “Viacom18 is glad to be partnering with CMCA for the second consecutive year for the beach clean up drive. Children have the potential to bring about positive behaviour change around cleanliness and influence communities to make ‘Swacchta’ a way of life. With this initiative we hope to create a longstanding awareness about keeping our surrounding clean and maintain a sustainable lifestyle.”


Sharing her thoughts about the cleanup drive Vinodini Lulla, Trustee at CMCA said, “CMCA has always been an advocate of responsibly celebrating festivals to minimize its impact on our surroundings. The cleanup is a life changing experience for our students every year. We are delighted to have found a partner in Viacom18 for the second-year in a row who have been actively involved in cleanliness and sanitation awareness in Mumbai. With this beach cleanup drive, we are sure that we will be able to bring about a behavioral change towards cleanliness and environment protection amongst children.”

- Nick India recently celebrated Teacher’s Day with a campaign designed to get kids to find their inner gurus!

Teacher’s Day usually sees the kids celebrating the teachers in their lives for their constant and selfless efforts in a child’s growth and education. However, this year, Nickelodeon decided to celebrate Teacher’s Day with a fun twist by identifying the ‘guru’ inside every child and making them the heroes. The present generation of kids are masters of technology, social media and the latest trends. They train their parents and grandparents to use gadgets and social media platforms.

Nickelodeon, to amplify the skills of every such Gen Y kid, launched a fun-filled campaign called the ‘Nickelodeon Gurucool.’ The campaign saw a range of fun videos encouraging parents and teachers to learn from kids, quirky GIFs and posts on social media. The celebration continued with the Motu Patlu in Dragonworld movie which saw Motu and Patlu train dragons and encourage kids to be brave. Nickelodeon took the Teacher’s Day celebrations to schools as well where the children took charge of the classroom and converted it to a fun-filled session with their favourite Nicktoons, Dora and Shiva. Gen Y lingos such as LOL, ROFL, identifying Facebook emoticons etc. were included in the syllabus for the day, making it a fun and memorable day for the kids.

- Viacom18, the equal joint venture company between TV18 and media conglomerate Viacom, the home of Nickelodeon, has seen its consolidated revenue grow 7.71% to Rs 3036.4 crore in FY17 compared to Rs 2818.8 crore a year ago.

Viacom18 earned Rs 2850 crore from ad sales, distribution and programme syndication in FY17, which marked a 10.23% jump from Rs 2585.4 crore a year ago.

The fiscal period also saw Viacom18 issuing fresh shares to its promoter companies. Both TV18 and MTV Asia received 90,96,333 shares each, taking the total allotted shares to 477,68,791 for each company.

Viacom transferred its 90,96,333 shares translating to 8% equity to another subsidiary company, Nickelodeon Asia Holdings Singapore. Thus, Viacom’s 50% stake is held under two companies, MTV Asia Ventures India (42%) and Nickelodeon Asia Holdings Singapore (8%).

Nickelodeon USA To Premiere "SpongeBob SquarePants: The Legend Of Boo-Kini Bottom" On Friday 13th October 2017

Nickelodeon USA will take viewers on a spooky Halloween adventure throughout Bikini Bottom with the brand-new, stop-motion Halloween special, SpongeBob SquarePants: The Legend of Boo-Kini Bottom, premiering Friday 13th October 2017! Check out Nick USA's fangtastic teaser trailer below!:



In the visual style of classic stop-motion animation TV specials, The Legend of Boo-Kini Bottom tells the story of the Flying Dutchman (Brian Doyle Murray) who wants to make sure everyone in town is scared, especially SpongeBob, who thinks scary things are funny.

Bikini Bottom is decked out for Halloween and features Sandy’s treedome as a mad scientist’s lab, including a giant remotely operated Acorn Monster; Mr. Krabs’ restaurant as “The Horrors of the Chum Bucket,” displaying scenes of Plankton torturing food; and Plankton’s restaurant as “The Horrors of the Krusty Krab,” telling the story of Mr. Krabs turning customers into Krabby Patties and more.


The characters don Halloween costumes, with SpongeBob as a flower, Patrick as a knight, Sandy as a mad scientist, Mr. Krabs as a dollar bill, Plankton as a devil, Squidward as himself, and Karen as a cat. SpongeBob SquarePants: The Legend of Boo-Kini Bottom features an original song, "The Scare Song," written by Mr. Lawrence, music by Eban Schletter and performed by the Flying Dutchman’s crew of pirate ghosts.



The Legend of Boo-Kini Bottom is being produced at Screen Novelties, a Los Angeles-based stop-motion animation production company, where miniature puppets and sets bring Bikini Bottom to life in three dimensions. The production features 27 unique sets, across five stages, where 15 boxes of breakfast cereal were used to create texture on Bikini Bottom's coral reefs; eight pounds of glitter were used to decorate SpongeBob’s Halloween pineapple house; hundreds of popsicle sticks created the planks of the rollercoaster track that Patrick and SpongeBob ride; and “black lights” were used to create a fluorescent glow across the puppets and sets.

Marc Ceccarelli and Vincent Waller are the supervising producers on SpongeBob SquarePants. The special was written by Mr. Lawrence, with Brian Morante serving as the storyboard director. The special is being directed by Mark Caballero and Seamus Walsh, and produced by Chris Finnegan of Screen Novelties.

This is the second time Nickelodeon has partnered with Screen Novelties on a SpongeBob SquarePants stop-motion episode. SpongeBob SquarePants: It’s a SpongeBob Christmas! debuted December 2012 and featured Plankton turning everybody in Bikini Bottom from nice to naughty.

SpongeBob SquarePants is voiced by Tom Kenny as SpongeBob SquarePants, an incurably optimistic sea sponge who lives in a pineapple under the sea; Bill Fagerbakke as Patrick Star, SpongeBob's silly best friend; Roger Bumpass as Squidward, an aloof cashier of The Krusty Krab and SpongeBob’s neighbor; Clancy Brown as Mr. Krabs, SpongeBob's boss and greedy owner of The Krusty Krab; Carolyn Lawrence as Sandy Cheeks, Bikini Bottom's only resident rodent aquanaut and scientist; and Mr. Lawrence as Plankton, owner of the Chum Bucket and chief rival of Mr. Krabs.

SpongeBob SquarePants is executive produced by creator Stephen Hillenburg, who previously worked as a writer, director and creative director on Nickelodeon’s animated series Rocko’s Modern Life. Hillenburg graduated from the California Institute of the Arts with a master’s degree in experimental animation and studied marine biology and art as an undergraduate. Hillenburg created and executive produced his first feature film, The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, which debuted Nov. 19, 2004 and his second theatrical, The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water, hit theaters Feb. 6, 2015. The series is produced at Nickelodeon in Burbank.

BOOM! Studios Unveils Power Rangers 25th Anniversary Artist Tribute Book

As Power Rangers prepares to cross into its milestone 25th anniversary, Saban Brands is getting ready to charge up 2018 with tons of exciting new initiatives and reveals!

Saban have released another look at their anticipated Legacy Dinozords. The Zords are part of Bandai's rescaled line of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, and in the latest images, fans can see the design schematics of the upcoming figures. Being that this is the Legacy line, you can expect the overall design and art style to stay the same. That said, the design schematics give a great idea of just how articulated the new Zords will be.

The line is set to kick off with the Red Ranger's Tyrannosaurus Rex Dinozord and the Yellow Ranger's Sabertooth Tiger Dinozord. Each Zord will come with the appropriate Power Rangers as well, with the other Rangers and their Zords following soon thereafter.

You can view both schematics below.


Once all are released you will be able to form the Megazord, which will be in proper scale with the rest of the Legacy line. These should hit stores sometime in 2018.

Bandai's Legacy line is finally expanding into Power Rangers Zeo territory, with the Gold Ranger's Golden Power Staff as the next full-scale release.

Drake Bell Reveals He Would Love to Do a "Drake & Josh" Reboot With Josh Peck After Squashing Feud!

Now that Drake Bell and Josh Peck, 30, have patched things up and moved forward from their feud over Drake not being invited to Josh’s wedding earlier this year, Life & Style magazine has learned that a reboot of their hit Nickelodeon show Drake & Josh could be on the table!

“Now that Josh and I are back together and everything is all square, I would love to [do a reboot],” Drake reveals, adding that they’re also willing to reunite in brand-new roles. “I don’t know if it would be where we play the same characters or if we would go do something completely different,” Drake, 31, explains.

“Him and I, our chemistry together is once in a lifetime in this industry,” Drake admits.
