Nickelodeon UK, the number one commercial kids TV network in the UK, has announced the exciting news in a trailer that Nickelodeon UK and Ireland and Nickelodeon HD UK will premiere the brand-new hour-long Game Shakers special "Revenge @ Tech Fest" on Friday 7th October 2016 from 5:30pm!


In the brand-new two-part Game Shakers episode "Revenge @ Tech Fest" (#998), the Game Shakers team prep for Tech Fest, a technology convention in Brooklyn, to showcase their new game OctoPie. When an enemy from the past resurfaces at the event to seek vengeance, the crew needs to enlist the Girls Who Code to help defeat it!

The hour-long special, "Revenge @ Tech Fest," solidifies Nick's commitment to building awareness around STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) education and coding concepts, which includes Code-It, Nickelodeon's interactive coding experience in which fans can make their own animations using code.

Nickelodeon Russia has announced the very exciting news in the following press release, via Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) Russia's official Press Office, that Nickelodeon Russia's (Россия) fourth annual "День, когда пора играть", Nick Russia's localised version of Nickelodeon's "Worldwide Day of Play", was a slime-tastic success!


On Sunday 18th September 2016, Nickelodeon went off-air for six hours between 12:00 and 18:00 to encourage children across Russia to go outside and play, whether in a garden, in a park or at a playground.

To celebrate kids' love of play, Nickelodeon held special "День, когда пора играть" events in Moscow, Samara and Rostov-on-Don on "День, когда пора играть" in partnership with Интерактивного ТВ and Ростелекома, in which children could play and interact with their favourite Nickelodeon stars! Visitors were greeted by a cheerful SpongeBob SquarePants, the courageous Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and the inquisitive Dora the Explorer!


Nickelodeon's rich and varied "День, когда пора играть" programme enabled each visitor to the events to find a themed area or a master class suited to their interests, with the youngest guests getting to have fun in the Nickelodeon ball pit!

Older kids were invited to visit the beauty salon to create a original hairstyle and decorate themselves with temporary tattoos featuring their favourite Nickelodeon characters.


Guests to Nickelodeon's "День, когда пора играть" event in Moscow also had the unique opportunity to take a master class in acting skills and audition for Nickelodeon, and visit the special music area, dedicated to Nickelodeon's brand-new show School of Rock, where everyone felt like a real rock star, performing favourite hits!

In addition, Nickelodeon's "День, когда пора играть" Moscow event also hosted the long-awaited finale of Nickelodeon's "Мегаконструктор" campaign, held on turtles.nickelodeon.ru throughout August and September 2016. The two finalists battled it out for the top prize, with the winner receiving a fantastic designer Mega Bloks kit!


Nickelodeon's fourth annual "День, когда пора играть" celebration was accompanied by a large-scale promotional campaign on-air, and on Nickelodeon's dedicated "День, когда пора играть" website, igraem.nickelodeon.ru, as well as announcements and news in the media. On Nickelodeon's official "День, когда пора играть" website, visitors could find a detailed program of Nickelodeon's "День, когда пора играть" events in Moscow, Samara and Rostov-on-Don, as well as find information about the events that took place in other major cities around Russia.

18 сентября 2016 года в Москве, Самаре и Ростове-на-Дону прошли развлекательные мероприятия для всей семьи в рамках проекта «День, когда пора играть», который четвертый год подряд организует телеканал Nickelodeon при поддержке «Интерактивного ТВ» от «Ростелекома». По традиции в этот день эфир был отключен на шесть часов, c 12:00 до 18:00, чтобы юные зрители смогли весело провести время на свежем воздухе.

«День, когда пора играть» - одно из самых долгожданных и запоминающихся событий для поклонников Nickelodeon. Подготовка к празднику сопровождалась масштабной промо-кампанией в эфире телеканала и на специальном сайте igraem.nickelodeon.ru, а также анонсами и новостями в СМИ. На сайте проекта каждый мог узнать подробную программу праздничных мероприятий в Москве, Самаре и Ростове-на-Дону, а также получить информацию о событиях, которые проходили в этот день в других крупных городах. Насыщенная и разнообразная программа позволила каждому посетителю найти для себя тематическую зону или мастер-класс по интересам. Самые маленькие гости могли повеселиться в бассейне с шариками.

Ребятам более старшего возраста предлагалось посетить салон красоты, чтобы сделать оригинальную прическу и украсить себя переводными тату с изображением героев Nickelodeon.

Гости праздника в столице получили уникальную возможность пройти кастинг в специально организованном шатре. Подготовиться к просмотру можно было во время мастер-класса по актерскому мастерству, а в музыкальной зоне, посвященной новому шоу «Школа Рока», каждый мог почувствовать себя настоящей рок-звездой, исполняя хиты всех времен.

Кроме того, на празднике в Москве состоялся долгожданный финал акции «Мегаконструктор», проходившей на сайте turtles.nickelodeon.ru в августе и сентябре. Два финалиста сразились за главный приз, а победитель получил большой конструктор «Mega Bloks». Им стал юный житель Уфы, Никита Калинин.

Two high-school students, Marinette and Adrien, are chosen to become Paris’ superheroes: Ladybug and Cat Noir. They each have a Miraculous, a jewel linked to their the magical creatures (Kwamis) that give them powers.

Their mission is to keep Hawk Moth – who wants to steal their Miraculouses – from wreaking havoc on the town by creating increasingly dangerous supervillains – all while living their high school lives and keeping their identities secret.

At school, Marinette has a crush on Adrien but cannot tell him, so she acts awkwardly whenever he’s around. As a superhero, Cat Noir loves Ladybug, but his ego annoys her: Marinette prefers Adrien anyway!

Throughout the school year and their adventures, Ladybug discovers many nice qualities in Cat Noir while Marinette grows ever closer to Adrien, making huge efforts to overcome her shyness.

The service will debut in the fourth quarter of 2016. Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, MTV, VH1, Spike, BET, CMT, TV Land, Nick at Nite, Nick Jr., and Logo, will all be available to DIRECTV Now customers.

MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The SKECHERS Foundation today announced a $1.5 million fundraising goal for the eighth SKECHERS Pier to Pier Friendship Walk, an annual event to support children with special needs and education. Media sponsor NBC4 will join returning presenting sponsor Nickelodeon and a team of celebrities – including Sugar Ray Leonard, Brooke Burke-Charvet, Tommy Lasorda, Denise Austin and Camila Alves – for the event on Sunday, October 23 in Manhattan Beach.

Nickelodeon Promotes Jennifer Tracy To Senior Vice President, Franchise And Partner Marketing

Nickelodeon has named Jennifer Tracy as Senior Vice President (SVP), Franchise and Partner Marketing.


"[Tracy] is a digital native with a proven strategic marketing background. We're excited to expand her responsibilities to include development of multi-platform strategies on behalf of Nickelodeon's franchise properties," said Sharon Cohen, Executive Vice President (EVP) of Partner Marketing, and Anne Mullen, EVP of Creative and Marketing, Franchises and Preschool.

In her new role, Tracy will develop strategic and innovative franchise marketing campaigns to ensure the growth of Nick's key properties. She will also expand her current responsibilities to include oversight of consumer marketing audience acquisition, customer relationship management and social content for some of Nickelodeon's most iconic franchises.

Jennifer joined Nickelodeon in 2004 as Vice President (VP), Integrated Marketing & Partnerships. Prior to her latest promotion, Jennifer also served as VP, Digital Sales & Marketing Strategy, VP, Digital Integrated Marketing, and most recently, as SVP, Integrated Marketing.

Before joining Nickelodeon, Jennifer served as Director, Partnership Marketing at Bolt Media between March 2000 and July 2004.
