Nickelodeon Sets Premiere Date for Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan
Brand-new Live-action Series Debuts Saturday, Feb. 29, At 8:30 p.m. (ET/PT)

HOLLYWOOD, Calif.--Feb. 19, 2020--Kid rapper and pint-sized powerhouse Young Dylan will join the Nickelodeon family with the premiere of the brand-new live-action series, Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan, on Saturday, Feb. 29, at 8:30 (ET/PT). Executive produced, directed and written by Perry, the series follows a family whose world is turned upside down when their nephew, Young Dylan (Dylan Gilmer), an aspiring hip-hop star, moves in unannounced. Michelle Sneed is also an executive producer, with Will Areu and Mark E. Swinton serving as producers. The series is currently in production at Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, Ga.

In Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan, Dylan’s grandmother Viola (Aloma Wright) realizes that raising her grandson is too much to take on, so she decides to send him to live indefinitely with her affluent son Myles Wilson (Carl Anthony Payne II), his wife Yasmine (Mieko Hillman) and their two kids Rebecca (Celina Smith) and Charlie (Hero Hunter). Suddenly, the Wilson family household needs to adapt as lifestyles clash between rising hip-hop star Young Dylan and his straight-laced cousins. From Dylan giving Charlie, Rebecca, and her best friend Bethany (Jet Miller), lessons in “swag” and street smarts, to learning that even rappers have rules in the Wilson house, the series follows the hilarious hijinks this family faces as they try to get on the same beat.


Nickelodeon’s partnership with Perry is part of his long-term pact with ViacomCBS, producing original series for BET Networks (The Oval and Sistas) and other ViacomCBS networks, with exclusive licensing rights on this programming. Additionally, Perry recently announced his joint venture with BET Networks for the new streaming video on demand service BET+. Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan marks Perry’s first kids’ scripted series.

Born and raised in Annapolis, Md., Gilmer is known for his many appearances and performances on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and at NBA All-Star Weekend. He will next appear at Nickelodeon SlimeFest, a two-day family-friendly music festival on Saturday, March 21, and Sunday, March 22, at the Forum in Inglewood, Calif. Gilmer has an overall talent deal with Telepictures, a subsidiary of Warner Bros. Television, and has previously guest starred on the revival of Nickelodeon’s hit series All That.

Gilmer is represented by Sherry Kayne of The Green Room and Chris Abramson at Felker Toczek Suddleson Abramson.

The production of Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan for Nickelodeon is overseen by Shauna Phelan, Senior Vice President, Live-Action Scripted Content. Brian Banks serves as Nickelodeon’s Executive in Charge of Production for the series.

TOMY to Debut Ricky Zoom Products at New York Toy Fair 2020


NEW YORK, Feb. 21, 2020 -- Today at New York Toy Fair 2020, TOMY International, Inc. in partnership with Entertainment One (eOne), revealed its full line of Ricky Zoom toys targeted to preschoolers. Based on the lovable rescue bike Ricky Zoom, airing on Nickelodeon's Nick Jr., the full range of toys, which includes the Lights and Sounds Ricky and Ricky's House Playset, is expected to launch exclusively at Walmart and on Walmart.com nationwide in March 2020 and at mass retailers nationwide beginning in June 2020. Built for speed, Ricky Zoom is a little red rescue bike who races around the sports track with his friends, tries new stunts at the park, and zooms excitedly into every adventure. Now, kids can play along with Lights and Sounds Ricky, which takes Ricky Zoom straight from the TV show to playtime. Complete with articulated and moving wheels, and a light up visor, the item also plays bike sounds and character phrases from the show.

Nigerian music superstars Teni and DJ Cuppy have been nominated for the Favourite African Star and Social Media Star respectively in Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards 2020. The event, which will be hosted by American Rapper Chance The Rapper, will take place at the Forum in Inglewood, California on Sunday, 22 March 2020 at 7:30 p.m. (ET/PT), simulcasting live on Nickelodeon in the U.S. and YTV in Canada, as well as stream across Nickelodeon's YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter handles and channels. Within hours of the live show, KCA 2020 will roll-out on Nickelodeon channels internationally, providing kids around the world in more than 170 countries and territories a front row seat to all the stunts, surprises and slime! In Africa, Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards 2020 will broadcast on Nick Toons (DStv Channel 308) on Monday, 23 March 2020 at 17:30 CAT, 24 hours after the event in the USA. The show will also be repeated on Nickelodeon (DStv channel 305) on Wednesday, 25 March 2020 at 18:00 CAT.

First-time nominees include Teni, DJ Cuppy, John Cena, DaBaby, Tiffany Haddish, Tom Holland, Brie Larson, Lizzo and Megan Thee Stallion. Die Disc verfügt über ein in 1080p, AVC kodiertes Bildmaterial und eine deutsche DD 5.1-Tonspur. Zu den Features gehören Gelöschte und erweiterte Szenen, Pannen und mehrere Featurettes.

Kein Wunder, hat sie dort doch einen Großteil ihres Lebens verbracht, während ihre Eltern (Michael Peña, Eva Longoria) nach einer sagenumwobenen Inka-Stadt gesucht haben. Tatsächlich scheinen ihre Bemühungen endlich von Erfolg gekrönt zu sein, als sie einen entscheidenden Hinweis finden. Doch anstatt Dora mit auf die Expedition zu nehmen, schicken sie sie nach Los Angeles, um dort mit ihrem Cousin Diego (Jeffrey Wahlberg) die High School zu besuchen. Ganz einfach ist diese Umgewöhnung nicht, so richtig passt Dora ja nicht in das städtische Umfeld. ‘Henry Danger’ Finale Trailer: Henry Says Goodbye To 'Kid Danger' In Epic Final Episodes

Henry Danger is coming to an end and HollywoodLife has unveiled an preview of the final 4 episodes. In the last seconds of the trailer, Henry bids farewell to Kid Danger.


The final 4 episodes of Henry Danger are upon us and HollywoodLife has our awesome first look. The episodes are going to be even more action-packed and there’s going to be even more hart, erm, heart. The stakes are higher than ever but that’s Henry Danger. There’s some tension between Henry and Ray in the final episodes. “You swore an oath to defend this city,” Captain Man (Cooper Barnes) tells Kid Danger (Jace Norman), who replies, “I don’t want to be Captain Man. I will never, ever be Captain Man.”


The final choices, the final secrets, and the final battles are all going down in these last episodes. Henry finally reveals to his mom and dad that he’s Kid Danger and supervillain Drex returns - and becomes Captain Drex. “I am a superhero, you are the sidekick!” Captain Man says to Kid Danger. “You didn’t sign up for this! I did!”

The end of the trailer shows Kid Danger appearing to don his suit for the last time. He transforms back into Henry Hart. “Hey, everyone. I’m Henry Hart,” he says. “And I used to be Kid Danger.” The final 4 episodes of Henry Danger will begin Feb. 29 at 8 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon.


Henry Danger may be ending but the world is expanding. The brand-new spinoff Danger Force will premiere March 28 at 8 p.m. (ET/PT)! The show will introduce a new superhero cast and features original Henry Danger cast members Cooper Barnes and Michael D. Cohen reprising their fan-favorite roles. Captain Man and Schwoz will be introducing four new superheroes-in-training as they team up to fight crime in their town of Swellview. Danger Force will consist of 13 episodes and is produced by Cooper Barnes and Jace Norman (Henry Hart). Production for the series is currently underway.

‘Teddy Fresh’ Streetwear Brand Teases SpongeBob SquarePants Collaboration

Teddy Fresh, the formidable streetwear clothing brand from Hila Klein, is on the verge of dropping its biggest collab to date — a collection inspired by the iconic Nickelodeon character SpongeBob SquarePants!


Teddy Fresh began teasing the collab on social media earlier this week, in a post (below) stating that the collection would drop next Thursday at 1 pm ET. A photo showcases what appears to be three shirts touting Teddy Fresh’s bear mascot alongside SpongeBob himself. Spongebob, launched in 1999, is a merchandising powerhouse for ViacomCBS-owned Nickelodeon, having reportedly generated upwards of $13 billion in merchandise revenues alone for the company as of 2017.


While neither pricing details nor the full item lineup have been unveiled just yet, details about the collaboration began leaking late last month — including a sheet of paper from a retail partner (likely Zumiez) instructing stores to “display all the Teddy Fresh x SpongeBob SquarePants you received in a highly visible location how you see fit.” The sheet also lists about 20 SKUs, though it isn’t discernible what they are from the available info (although one does mentioned "hoodie").


This isn’t Teddy Fresh’s first collab. The brand previously paired with fellow streetwear brand RipNDip (which is also stocked at Zumiez) for two different collections. In their first outing in Oct. 2018, items ranged in price from $12 for a sticker pack to $80 for a hoodie.

Teddy Fresh is the brainchild of Klein (who also serves as its CEO), who is one half of the married duo behind the popular YouTube comedy and commentary channel h3h3Productions. That said, Hila and her husband, Ethan, have not posted a video on that channel (6.6 million subscribers) in roughly eight months — instead focusing their efforts on The H3 Podcast, which is also distributed on YouTube and counts 3.7 million subscribers across twochannels.

Teddy Fresh officially bowed in Oct. 2017 and received a major distribution push the following July through a pact with Seattle-founded Zumiez, which counts 607 stores across the United States.

The SpongeBob apparel joins other recent fashion collaborations from brands such as Unimatic, Nike and Timberland, Pharrell Williams' Billionaire Boys Club ICECREAM, Edward Venero's VNRO, a skateboard collection from Santa Cruz Skateboards, a homeware collaboration from Modernica with Chicago-based visual artist Louis De Guzman and global music artist J Balvin, a dog apparel and accessories collection with Fresh Pawz, clothing with Zara, and a Grillz collaboration between J Balvin and Ian Delucca.

SpongeBob SquarePants, which was recently greenlit for a 13th season, has reigned as the number-one kids’ animated series on TV for the last 17 years, while generating a universe of beloved characters, pop culture catchphrases and memes, theatrical releases, consumer products, a Tony award-winning Broadway musical which is now touring North America and a global fan base. SpongeBob SquarePants is seen in more than 208 countries and territories, translated in 55+ languages, and averages more than 100 million total viewers every quarter. SpongeBob SquarePants is created by Stephen Hillenburg and produced by Nickelodeon in Burbank, Calif.

Nickelodeon's is currently in the midst of the network's "Best Year Ever", a year-long global celebration of one of the most iconic TV series and characters ever created. The “Best Year Ever” launched with the premiere of “SpongeBob’s Big Birthday Blowout,” an original mixed live-action and animated special earlier this summer, and leads up to the Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies theatrical, The SpongeBob Movie: It's a Wonderful Sponge, coming May 2020.

A CG-animated prequel spin-off series, Kamp Koral, following 10-year-old SpongeBob SquarePants during his summer at sleepaway camp, is also slated to premiere during Summer 2020.
