Rocko's Modern Life - Seasons 1-4 includes 8 discs featuring all 52 episodes from the shows four-season run.

The set looks like it's based on a Shout! Factory US release, as it features the edited versions of "The Good, The Bad and The Wallaby" and "Hut, Saw, Raw", which both got edited in the US, but have always remained uncut on the UK airings. However, a scene from "Put to Pasture" which was cut by Nickelodeon UK is available in all its glory on this release which is a bonus.

Unfortunately, it looks like the DVD set does not include any bonus features, such as the original pilot version of “Trash-O-Madness”, “Wacky Delly” Live 2012, and commentary by creator Joe Murray on select episodes, which will also feature on the Rocko’s Modern Life: The Complete Series DVD set which will be released this Thanksgiving in the US.

Weirdly, the DVD set also carries a 12 age certificate, which is odd, as its a cartoon aimed towards kids. This isn't unusual though, as a 2012 DVD release of The Secret World of Alex Mack carried a 15 age rating.

Produced by Nickelodeon Home Entertainment and distributed by Paramount Home Entertainment, the region two DVD has a running time of 1319 minutes.

"Rocko's Modern Life - Seasons 1-4" is available in purchase on Amazon.co.uk, and will be available on online shops such as HMV and Zavvi from Monday 19th November 2018. The average price is £34.99 GBP.

All-in-all, "Rocko's Modern Life - Seasons 1-4" is a good deal, and is bound to get you in the mood for the upcoming TV movie, Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling! Reliving the crazy modern life antics of Rocko will sure to be a hoot!

'I'm having a lot of fun at school and recording for 'Butterbean,' so I'm keeping pretty busy'


Niskayuna, New York - When Nickelodeon sent out feelers looking for a young actor who could play spunky, energetic and curious, Gabby Pizzolo thought to herself, "Well, I can do that."

A Niskayuna High sophomore with two Broadway shows among her credits, Pizzolo has added Nickelodeon's brand-new CG-animated preschool series Butterbean's Café to her acting resume. Pizzolo provides the voice of Cricket, the younger sister of the title character, Butterbean.

"She loves her older sister and she's always eager to help the cafe," Pizzolo, who got the chance to watch some episodes in advance, told The Daily Gazette. "She's energetic and curious, and it really is a cute show. I have to play younger, but I've always loved doing silly little voices, so that's OK."


Pizzolo says Butterbean's Cafe is a children's show with an important message.

"It's about a group of fairies that come together to work in a cafe that promotes healthy farm-to-table meals," said Pizzolo. "There's singing in the show, but it's about their friendships and their coming together for the cafe. It's about their relationships with each other."

The show was created by Robert Scull and Jonny Belt, the creators of Bubble Guppies, and will feature celebrity chefs such as Rachael Ray, Richard Blais, Alton Brown and Padma Lakshmi, to name a few. In the series, Butterbean and her fairy friends -- Dazzle, Poppy and Jasper -- and her little sister Cricket take pride in serving up healthy snacks and sweet treats to the residents of their community of Puddlebrook.

Butterbean's Café made its world premiere on Nick USA on Monday, Nov. 12, at 1 p.m. (ET/PT), where it became Nickelodeon's highest-rated preschool series debut since the 2013 launch of PAW Patrol, posting double-digit year-over-year gains and averaging a 4.6/456,000 with Kids 2-5 (+27%). The new episode (1 p.m. [ET/PT]) also drew 1.3 million total viewers (+55%).

In Monday's series premiere, “The Grand Opening!,” Butterbean and her friends work together to make the opening of the cafe a success, while a competing cafe owner, Ms. Marmalady, attempts to disrupt their plans.

Pizzolo began working on the series back in the spring of 2016.

"I was in New York City doing Fun Home, so I started doing the recording down there," said Pizzolo. "Now, since I live up here I've been going back and forth to the city and also doing a lot at White Studio in Albany. We've actually already started working on Season 2, so that's very exciting. They try to accommodate my home life situation, so they're very nice. There's no one reading with me when I'm in the studio, but they have a team of voice directors and we work it all out together."

Pizzolo's acting career began back at Craig Elementary School on Balltown Road, and then in 2011 she landed the role of young Cozette in the Schenectady Light Opera Company's junior production of Les Miserables" She was also in Miracle on 34th Street with the Classic Theater Guild, and also spent some time taking lessons at the Orlando School of Dance in Schenectady. Then, in 2013, Pizzolo was on Broadway performing as the title character in Matilda, the winner of five Tony Awards. Two years later, she was back on Broadway in Fun Home, another five-time Tony Award winner, playing Small Allison.

After her Fun Home gig was up, Pizzolo won the role of young CC in the Lifetime channel's production of Beaches with Idina Menzel. Then after taking some time off, she was back to work this summer with the Adirondack Theatre Festival in Glens Falls, playing Haley in a well-received new musical called Loch Ness.

"I play the daughter of a marine researcher who has a pretty traumatic thing happen to her at the beginning of the show," Pizzolo said. "She loses a family member, so she goes with her father to do research at Loch Ness, and she ends up teaming up with none other than the Loch Ness Monster. It's a powerful story about how they work together as opposed to fighting against each other. I think it's really relevant to what's going on in the world today."

Pizzolo hopes her time with Loch Ness isn't complete.

"Our show was just the second stage production, so we're hoping it has another life and I'd love to be involved," she said. "It really is a great show."

For now, Pizzolo will spend her time working through her sophomore year at Niskayuna as well as Season 2 of Butterbean's Café.

"I have a few other television opportunities coming up in 2019, but I'm not allowed to talk about them yet," she said. "I'm having a lot of fun at school and recording for Butterbean, so I'm keeping pretty busy."

Kally’s MashUp is inspired by the real-life musical journey of Glee’s executive musical producer, Adam Anders. Protagonistas falam sobre a segunda temporada de "Kally's Mashup", sucesso na Nick


Na última semana, os atores Maia Reficco, Lalo Brito e Alex Hoyer, protagonistas da novela musical "Kally's Mashup", da Nickelodeony, desembarcaram no Brasil para participarem da edição deste ano da premiação "Meus Prêmios Nick", que aconteceu na última quinta-feira (7) e foi exibida pelo canal no domingo (11).

Antes, o NaTelinha esteve na sede da Viacom, em São Paulo, para um bate-papo sobre a trama, músicas e suas impressões do Brasil.

"Kally's Mashup"é uma produção argentina inspirada na trajetória musical do produtor de "Glee", Adam Anders, e faz grande sucesso por aqui. Tanto que sua segunda temporada estreou recentemente na TV paga brasileira antes de qualquer outro canal da América Latina.

No "Meus Prêmios Nick", a novela concorreu em quatro categorias e venceu em todas elas: Programa de TV Favorito, Programa da Nick Favorito, Ship do Ano (Kally e Dante) e Artista de TV Favorito (Maia Reficco).

Ao NaTelinha, Maia Reficco contou o que os fãs podem esperar da segunda temporada de "Kally's Mashup", que estreou no final de outubro na Nick. "A segunda temporada está muito divertida, até porque eu sou fã. Serão novas músicas e a história ficará muito interessante e acontecerá uma mudança que as pessoas vão falar 'O quê???'. Vocês não podem perder, já que vão se apaixonar ainda mais pelos personagens. Vamos ajudar a todos a quererem seguir seus sonhos", disse.


Na trama, Alex Hoyer e Maia Reficco formam um casal, que foi 'shippado' como Dally. Será que eles enfrentarão muitos obstáculos nessa continuação? "O que eu posso falar é que terão obstáculos, os personagens vão evoluindo. Em alguns momentos vocês vão ver a Kally muito ocupada sem poder dar atenção. Dante também não poderá dar tanta atenção pois estará focado na música. Os dois estarão seguindo os seus sonhos, mas acredito que em algum momento eles estarão juntos", contou Alex. "As cenas dos dois estão muito lindas, eles têm muitas coisas em comum", garante Maia. Lalo Brito, que interpreta o Andy, brinca, fazendo mistério: "E tem uma parte em que os dois... Vejam a novela de segunda à sexta na Nickelodeon (risos)".

Questionados, os atores analisaram as dublagens de seus personagens feitas no Brasil. "É algo muito engraçado pois você se vê falando em outro idioma, mas é muito bonito que reconheçam o seu trabalho em outro país, ainda mais em um país como o Brasil. Ficamos muito emocionados e motivados como artistas para fazer o nosso trabalho cada dia melhor. É como um sonho se tornando realidade", bradou Lalo.


"As pessoas que fazem as dublagens são gênios, pois afinal são eles que dão vida aos personagens. Estamos muito felizes, mas a principio é muito diferente ver você falando em outro idioma, ai eu penso: 'Uau, como eu falo bem português' (risos)", brincou Alex Hoyer.

"Nós como atores temos que transmitir a verdade com o corpo, voz, e assim não ficamos limitado apenas ao visual. O que os dubladores fazem é inacreditável, pois se eu me ver dublada em russo eu vou acreditar que estou falando. Em português o que eu consigo entender mais ou menos está perfeito", elogiou Maia Reficco.

Na novela, Kally está com dificuldades em conciliar o trabalho com suas responsabilidades musicais. Será que ela vai deixar algo de lado? "Eu quero contar tudo. Na verdade para mim o mais lindo dessa segunda temporada é que passou o mesmo comigo. Na vida real as vezes enfrentamos esse paradigma que você quer fazer coisas que gosta mas não tem tempo. Então a grande lição que aprendi em 'Kally's Mashup'é aprender a priorizar", disse a intérprete, Maia Reficco.

"Sim, é uma grande temporada", vociferou Alex. "Vocês verão também a luta de todos para conseguir seguir os sonhos. Sempre existe algo em possa aprender mais", completou Lalo.

Após conhecerem São Paulo, o trio protagonista falou quais outras cidades brasileiras pretendem visitar. "Todas", gritaram juntos, aos risos. "Quero ir à praia, eu sei que em algum momento eu irei à praia. Quero conhecer a Amazônia", apontou Maia. "Imagina se estamos sobrevoando de avião e nos deixam dentro da Amazônia? Seria incrível", destacou Alex. "Ir ao Cristo Redentor, e sentar no ombro dele", disse Lalo, recebendo o apoio de Maia. "Queria fazer parkour, porque sei que praticam muito por aqui", completou o intérprete de Andy.

BURBANK, Calif.--Nov. 12, 2018--Kel Mitchell (Game Shakers) and Kenan Thompson (Saturday Night Live) reunite to compete against one another in a one-hour special episode of Nickelodeon’s iconic game show Double Dare, premiering Wednesday, Nov. 21, at 8:00 pm (ET/PT). Hosted by actress and digital creator Liza Koshy with original Double Dare host Marc Summers providing color commentary, the special will also guest star All That actress and comedian Lori Beth Denberg.

Paired with super fans, Team Kenan and Team Kel tackle some All That-themed trivia questions and compete in a variety of messy physical challenges that include nods to Nickelodeon classics Good Burger and Kenan & Kel. The winning team will then run an epic eight-piece Double Dare obstacle course for the grand prize. After the winners have been crowned, Kenan and Kel run the obstacle course together, in an attempt to win money for their favorite charities.



Double Dare premiered on Oct. 6, 1986, on Nickelodeon, and ran from 1986-1993, making it the network’s longest-running game show. Marc Summers served as the show’s original host from 1986-1993. Shortly after its debut, Double Dare became one of the most popular original daily programs on cable television. The series went into syndication in 1988 and later revived as Super Sloppy Double Dare in 1989. The show also ran on broadcast television as Family Double Dare in 1988, followed by new versions on Nick, including Double Dare 2000.

Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) – Américas has announced that they plan to produce around 1,000 hours of local original content in Latin America for its brands Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., Comedy Central, MTV, Paramount Channel, Telefe and Porta dos Fundos in 2019! VIMN Américas announced the exciting news at a Viacom Upfront presentation in México, where they unveiled its plans for its bouquet of hit brands.


At Viacom Américas Upfront 2018, the Latin American arm of the U.S. media giant reaffirmed its commitment to continue to create innovative and high quality content, and highlighted the wide range of formats and international titles from Viacom International Studios (VIS) and the powerful offer of live events Viacom's brands have hosted for fans in México.

Viacom Américas Upfront 2018 was headed by Eduardo Lebrija, Senior Vice President (SVP) and General Manager (GM) of VIMN Americas for Mexico, Colombia, Central America and the Caribbean, with the presence of David Lynn, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN), and Pierluigi Gazzolo, President of Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) The Americas.

During the Upfront, Viacom also presented the audience with its excellent results for 2018: Viacom's audience increased by 22% in the region and 5% in México; doubled the number of digital video views compared to 2017; and was #1 with fan engagement on social networks thanks to its Nickelodeon and MTV brands.

What's in store for 2019

In 2019, Viacom will present nearly 1,000 hours of locally produced content across its portfolio of brands: Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., Comedy Central, MTV, Paramount Channel, Telefe and Porta dos Fundos.

Lebrija commented: "We have 7 brands of global relevance, 14 production studios in the region and hundreds of hours of the most innovative, exciting and sought after content for passionate fans of all ages, which makes Viacom a unique stop for clients and audiences."

Nickelodeon Latinoamérica will premiere nearly 500 hours of content in 2019, including new episodes of hit animated series SpongeBob SquarePants (Bob Esponja), The Loud House and Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (El Ascenso de las Tortugas Ninja) and new live-action series Cousins For Life and The Bureau of Magical Things from Nickelodeon's global pipeline, and local productions; such as the super co-production Club 57, which Nickelodeon is currently filming between Miami, Florida and Italy in partnership with Rainbow Group, and the second season of the hit musical daily scripted series Kally's Mashup, produced in partnership with 360 Powwow and Glee music producer Adam Anders.

Nick Jr. Latinoamérica, Nickelodeon's top-rated preschool channel, also has a strong line-up for 2019, including new series such as Butterbean’s Café and Abby Hatcher, Fuzzly Catcher, as well as new seasons and episodes of hit series, including PAW Patrol, Nella the Princess Knight, Sunny Day and Top Wing, among many others.

The upfront also featured a special musical performance by Café Tacvba, and it was revealed that they will be the next band to record a special MTV Unplugged in the first half of 2019. The Mexican rock band, which will celebrate their 30th anniversary next year, will be the first to do a second special MTV Unplugged, after the 1995 edition.

Nickelodeon USA will be treating fans to a super first-look at the network's brand-new live-action comedy series Cousins For Life on Saturday, November 24 at 8:30pm ET/PT, and to celebrate, Nick has unveiled a awesome sneak-peek of the first episode of their all-new show, "Movin’ In", which you can watch in the fantastic video below!:


Cousins For Life centers on 12-year-old cousins Stuart (Dallas Young) and Ivy (Scarlet Spencer), best friends who come from very different backgrounds, who have to learn to navigate life under one roof with their families.

After Stuart’s mom is deployed overseas, his fun-loving dad Clark (Ishmel Sahid) decides to move the family to Portland to live with his uptight brother Lewis (Ron G.) and his family, which includes Stuart’s confident, socially active cousin Ivy and her younger, overly-curious brother Leaf (Micah Abbey). Now living in a brand new city, Stuart embarks on a variety of endeavors with Ivy that lead to hilarious adventures.

Although the cousins do not always see eye-to-eye, Ivy and Stuart learn they are better together, and when they team up, they are unstoppable. The series will also feature Emma Shannon (Black-ish) as Millie.

UPDATE (11/19): LAS CRUCES, N.M. (CN) – A nonprofit anti-bullying campaign must stop using the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in its stage shows, a federal judge recently ruled, reports Courthouse News Service.


Introduced as comic book characters in 1984, the four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, named for Italian Renaissance artists and trained by the sensei rat Splinter, have raked in more than $1 billion through six feature films, four cartoon series, more than two dozen video games, and numerous toy lines. Viacom acquired the rights to the franchise through its Nickelodeon subsidiary in 2009, and recently launched the franchise's latest animated iteration, Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Viacom sued New Mexico-based Mark Anthony Baca and his Guardian Anti-Bullying Campaign in February of this year, claiming Baca has repeatedly promised to stop violating copyright in his “Ninja Turtles Live Action Parody” stage shows – but he hasn’t done so.

Baca presents his anti-bullying shows at elementary schools and for community groups across the Southwest. His Guardian Campaign is an Oklahoma nonprofit based in New Mexico.

“The undisputed record shows the Ninja Turtle marks are distinctive, famous, of high quality, and that Defendants’ Show uses marks so similar to Viacom’s famous mark as to impair the distinctiveness of the famous mark and to harm the reputation of the famous mark by linking it to a Show of inferior quality,” U.S. District Judge Judith C. Herrera wrote in a 14-page order.

Amateur videos of Guardian shows feature the reptilian heroes spin-kicking, shouting their signature “Cowabunga!” and dancing to Michael Jackson songs while delivering their anti-bullying message. In one show, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles defeat their arch-nemesis Shredder, whereupon Master Splinter declares the turtles ready to take on bullies.

Baca and Guardian call the show a parody – which would protect it under fair-use laws. But Viacom says it’s a straight knockoff.

“The show is not a parody,” the company said in its 24-page complaint. “The show provides no meaningful commentary upon, or criticism of, the Ninja Turtles. Additionally, the Ninja Turtles characters are portrayed without any irony or self-awareness that would suggest a parodic element to the show.”

Since Viacom filed its complaint, Baca and Guardian have not responded to court motions and filings. Viacom published its complaints in newspapers such as the Los Angeles Times, emailed Baca’s last known address and sent documents to Baca’s mother, among others, in an attempt to reach the defendants.

Baca still didn’t respond, so on Thursday Herrera granted Viacom’s request to permanently bar Guardian and Baca from using the Ninja Turtles in their performances.

Herrera didn’t order any punitive damages against Baca or Guardian, but with the defendants absent from the court proceedings, the Cowabunga show must not go on.

UPDATE (2/6): Mark Anthony Baca has told TheWrap that, after being approached by Viacom, his show was changed to fit the legal definition of parody. He also maintained that his show contained anti-bullying segments. Baca also said that the Turtles parodies show has ended its run, and that he is moving on to a new show with his own brand.

LAS CRUCES, N.M. (CN) — Viacom is suing a New Mexico-based nonprofit in federal court, warning it needs to stop featuring the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in its anti-bullying campaign.

Introduced in a 1984 movie, the four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Raphael, Michelangelo, Leonardo, and Donatello - named for Italian Renaissance artists and trained by their sensei rat Splinter, have made more than $1 billion through six feature films, four cartoon series, toys and more than two dozen video games. Viacom acquired the rights to the franchise through its Nickelodeon subsidiary in 2009.

Viacom started legal proceedings against Mark Anthony Baca and his Guardian Anti-Bullying Campaign on Friday, February 2, 2018 claiming Baca has repeatedly promised to stop violating copyright in his “Ninja Turtles Live Action Parody” stage shows, but he continues in “flagrant, knowing willful” violation of its intellectual property.

Baca presents anti-bullying shows at elementary schools and to community groups across the Southwest. His Guardian Campaign is an Oklahoma nonprofit based in New Mexico.

Viacom says it demanded that Baca cease and desist violating copyright in August 2015, in November 2016, and again in January 2017.

After these repeated demands, Viacom says, Baca promised to stop infringing copyright in January 2017 — but it was a lie. “In January 2018, Viacom contacted defendants once again, and defendants once again acknowledged their wrongdoing and agreed to cease their infringement,” the complaint states.

“Nevertheless, the very next day, defendants performed the infringing show and continue to perform the show to this day.”

Represented by Jeremy Harrison with Modrall, Sperling, Roehl, Harris & Sisk, Viacom says its attorney “finally reached Mr. Baca by telephone on January 17, 2018. Mr. Baca acknowledged his infringement and agreed to cease his infringing conduct and cancel upcoming shows,” the complaint states.

Then Baca sent an email saying he’d stop violating copyright if he could complete his scheduled performances. Not good enough, Viacom says. Its attorney spoke with him again on Jan. 18, and told him the infringement “must cease immediately.”

Baca agreed, Viacom says — then did it again that very night, and again three days later. And he’s still marketing the show, through at least April 5, in four states across the country, for $10 to $12 a seat, or $25 for a ticket to “meet and greet” the turtles. He even sells Ninja Turtles merchandise at the shows, “further suggesting an affiliation with Viacom.”

Enough is enough, Viacom says. It seeks an injunction and punitive damages for copyright and trademark infringement and dilution and unfair trade, plus attorney’s fees and costs of suit.

Cowabunga! Viacom is harnessing the power of its legal team to shut down a live-action show that they say is ripping off its beloved “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” property.

In its lawsuit, filed Friday in federal court in New Mexico, Viacom says that the “Ninja Turtles Live Action Parody” show is an infringement on “TMNT,” and despite defendants Mark Anthony Baca and Guardian Anti-Bullying Campaign admitting the infringement and agreeing to knock it off, the show ha gone on — hence the lawsuit.

“Defendants do not have a license or other form of authorization from Viacom to make use of any of Viacom’s copyrights or trademarks in any way,” the suit reads.

According to the suit, the show makes use of Viacom’s characters Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, Donatello and others, and of the characters’ “distinctive costumes.”

Viacom insists that, despite the billing, the live-action show is “not a parody” and “provides no meaningful commentary upon, or criticism of, the Ninja Turtles.” And while the show is billed as having an anti-bullying message, “bullying is not the focus of the Show. At bottom, the Show is centered around Viacom’s Ninja Turtles Properties, which Defendants have no authorization to use.”

And despite copying the Ninja Turtles, the suit says, the show “is an amateur production with unprofessional actors.”

TheWrap has reached out to Guardian Anti-Bullying Campaign for comment on the suit.

Alleging copyright infringement and other counts, the suit is seeking an end to the alleged infringement, and unspecified damages.
