The licensing business news website Licensing.biz and World Screen, a publication which covers the international media business, are reporting the Winx-Tastic News that the Portuguese version of the "Winx Club" magazine, based on Nickelodeon and Rainbow S.r.l.'s popular brand aimed towards girls between the ages of 4 and 12, will be celebrating their 100th issue in December 2013, and to commemorate the occasion, the publication is giving readers the chance to win a very special all-expenses-paid trip on a upcoming "Winx Cruise"!
Portuguese "Winx Club" fans can enter the exclusive competition by submitting a picture that corresponds to the theme of the family cruise vacation, which is being run by cruise line MSC Cruise.
The "Winx Cruise" forms an important part of Rainbow's worldwide celebrations surrounding the "Winx Club" 10th anniversary in 2014.
Two special "Winx Cruise" trips are currently planned during 2014, one in Spring and one in the Autumn (Fall) back-to-school period.
Once on board, fans will be treated to a range of Winx-based activities including a Winx party, live events and meet and greets with characters from the show.
Co-produced by Nickelodeon and Rainbow S.r.l., "Winx Club" is a popular animated show which is watched by millions of young viewers around the world, including on Nickelodeon Portugal. Set in the land of Gardenia, "Winx Club" follows fairy friends – Bloom, Flora, Musa, Tecna, Stella and Aisha as they spread fairy power and fight evil villains such as Tritannus and The Trix. The Specialists, a group of brave and handsome teenage boys from the Red Fountain School for Specialists, also join the Winx on their adventures. To celebrate, Winx Club is giving readers the chance to win a trip on the Winx Cruise.
Readers have to draw a picture that ties in the with the cruise theme and the winner takes the prize of an all expenses paid family trip on the Winx cruise.
The cruise forms an important part of worldwide celebrations surrounding the Winx Club 10th anniversary in 2014.
The special trip is being organised by MSC Cruise, with two trips currently planned, one in the spring and one in the autumn back to school period.
