Due to the recent tragedy in Philippines, in which Typhoon Haiyan, the strongest storm ever to make landfall, struck the central Philippines on Friday 8th November 2013, causing catastrophic damage, Nickelodeon Stars Jennette McCurdy and Ariana Grande, the stars of Nick's original comedy series "Sam & Cat", have recorded a very special and important Public Service Announcement as part of Nickelodeon's "The Big Help" pro-social program to encourage viewers to donate to children's charity UNICEF, the world's leading organisation working for children, to help deliver aid to children affected by the tragedy, and to deliver the reassuring message that, together with viewers, they stand side-by-side with our friends in the Philippines affected by Typhoon Haiyan, a 300-mile wide typhoon – locally known as Yolanda – which has left a trail of destruction in its wake.
