To celebrate Nickelodeon USA and YTV in Canada starting to premiere and show School of Rock from Saturday 12th March 2016 at 9:30pm ET/PT, right after the 2016 Kids' Choice Awards, Nick USA has unveiled a super video clip featuring a exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the networks brand-new musical comedy series, which you can watch in the fantastic online streaming video clip here on Nick.com!
The gifted students of William B. Travis Prep School are in for the lesson of a lifetime!
When their teacher of a unique group of rule-abiding prep school students suffers an unfortunate skateboarding spill, Mr. Finn, a down-on-his-luck musician, steps in and poses as their substitute teacher. At first, the overachieving and rule-following kids are rather unimpressed, but little do the students know - their new substitute actually rocks!
Their new teacher, Dewey Finn, uses rock n' roll to ignite their inner expression, and with their talents combined, this class of classically-trained musicians forms a band complete with headbanging beats and face-melting solos. But if they want to live the rock star life, they'll have to band together and keep the whole thing a secret.
With Mr. Finn's help, they'll discover that working together isn't just cool, it rocks! Throughout the school year, these middle-school classmates find themselves navigating relationships, discovering their unknown talents and learning lessons on loyalty and friendships. Episodes will include musical performances by the cast! School of Rock is inspired by the hit movie of the same name.
School of Rock stars: Tony Cavalero (Nickelodeon's Splitting Adam) as "Dewey", Breanna Yde (Nickelodeon's The Haunted Hathaways) as "Tomika", Ricardo Hurtado as "Freddy", Lance Lim (Growing Up Fisher) as "Zack", Aidan Miner (Nickelodeon Creative Lab's The Dudas) as "Lawrence" and Jade Pettyjohn (Nickelodeon's Henry Danger) as "Summer".
