YTV Closes the Holiday Season as the #1 Channel for Kids and Families
Classic holiday programming and family favourites top charts for the fourth consecutive year on YTV
Preschool channel Treehouse takes the #1 spot for kids 2-5
(Toronto, Canada) Corus Entertainment's YTV was the #1 destination for kids and families this holiday season. From December 1 to December 25, 2015, YTV ranked #1 with K2-11 and K6-11, and #2 for W18-49 (Corus' W Network was #1) across all of the specialty networks, demonstrating that YTV was once again home for the holidays.
Throughout December, families cozied up to YTV's Merry 6mas programming schedule featuring a mix of holiday classics, like family favourite Home Alone; specials and movies including Elf, A Charlie Brown Christmas, Arthur Christmas and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer; as well as holiday-themed episodes of the network's animated and live-action series like SpongeBob SquarePants, Game Shakers, Stanley Dynamic and more.

From December 1 to December 25, YTV dominated K2-11 with nine of the top 10 most-watched programming, while Corus' preschool channel Treehouse took the #1 spot, sweeping K2-5 with eight of the top 10 most-watched telecasts across kids specialty networks.

YTV's January programming features a new season of the musical comedy series Make It Pop which airs Monday to Thursday at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT and a new season of the animated series Nerds and Monsters on Saturdays at 8 a.m. ET/PT.
