In their latest addition to their "Saturday Morning A Capella" playlist, YouTube channel Triforcefilms has unveiled an a capella version of the "ChalkZone" theme tune, which you can watch in the fantastic music video below!
In the video clip, Mr. Dooves records himself singing and humming different parts (which you can see individually), while the theme song's familiar opening titles play in the centre of the screen. It's another of those videos you can watch multiple times, yet continue to notice new things!:
Here's the original "ChalkZone" theme song, "Rudy's Got the Chalk", in all its glory!:
"ChalkZone" follows Rudy Tabootie, an elementary school student whose magic chalk allows him into the ChalkZone, an alternate dimension where everything drawn on a blackboard and erased becomes real. The show concentrates on the adventures of Rudy, his sidekick Snap, and classmate Penny Sanchez within the zone.
Created by Bill Burnett and Larry Huber for Nickelodeon, "ChalkZone" originally aired as part of Fred Seibert's "Oh Yeah! Cartoons" animated shorts showcase in 1998. The series ran on Nickelodeon USA from March 22, 2002 through August 23, 2008, with 40 episodes in total. It was produced by Frederator Studios and Nickelodeon Animation Studio. "ChalkZone" starred voice artists E. G. Daily ("Rugrats", "All Grown Up!", "Babe: Pig in the City", "Duckman"), Hynden Walch ("Catscratch", "Winx Club"), Candi Milo ("The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius", "As Told by Ginger", "Breadwinners", "Fanboy & Chum Chum", "El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera", "Hey Arnold!"), Robert Cait ("KaBlam!", "The Mighty B!", "Invader Zim", "Random! Cartoons"), Jess Harnell ("Big Time Rush", "The Cleveland Show", "TMNT", "My Life as a Teenage Robot", "The Wild Thornberrys"), Miriam Flynn ("Grounded for Life"), Rodger Bumpass ("SpongeBob SquarePants", "The Angry Beavers", "Where on Earth Is Carmen Sandiego?", "The Real Ghostbusters"), Jim Cummings ("CatDog", "Winx Club", "Rude Dog and the Dweebs", "The Penguins of Madagascar"), Rosslynn Taylor ("Rocket Power", "The Wild Thornberrys") and Rob Paulsen ("Danny Phantom", "The Fairly OddParents", "Robot and Monster", "Rocko's Modern Life", "Planet Sheen", "Tak and the Power of Juju", "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", "Biker Mice from Mars", "Butt-Ugly Martians", "Mighty Max", "Slimer and the Real Ghostbusters")
