Shiff Productions ("Lightning Point"/"Alien Surf Girls"), in association with Screen Australia, Network Ten, ZDF Enterprises and Screen Queensland, for "Mako Mermaids", a brand new 26 episode x 24-minute spin-off series of the popular Nickelodeon UK series "H2O – Just Add Water".
The first 13 episodes of the new adventure series, which continues the story of real-life teen mermaids Sirena, Nixie, and Lyla, will make their Netflix debut on Friday 26th July 2013 in all Netflix territories followed by the second half of the season in September 2013. Netflix aims to repeat the success of Jonathan M. Shiff's H2O – Just Add Water, a big hit for Netflix members in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland and the Nordics. The series is now seen in more than 160 territories worldwide.
