(Toronto, Canada) Corus Entertainment's YTV fall lineup kicks off on Monday, October 5 with an exciting programming slate that includes four new series, new seasons of returning favourites, and new episodes of continuing series. Viewers can also find their favourite programming on YTV's new TV Everywhere app, YTVGo, which since launching this week has quickly become the #1 free app in the App Store for Kids. The app gives kids and families access to the live YTV network stream along with an extensive offering of on-demand episodes.
Headlining the new slate are Nickelodeon's live action series, Game Shakers and 100 Things to Do Before High School. Created by hit-maker Dan Schneider (iCarly, Victorious, Henry Danger), Game Shakers follows two 12-year-old girls who create Sky Whale, a wildly popular app that goes viral, and then use the profits to start a gaming company. Fans can download the Sky Whale app for free in the App Store or Google Play. 100 Things to do Before High School, created by Scott Fellows (Big Time Rush), centres around three best friends as they navigate the highs and lows of middle school and try to complete a bucket list of adventures before beginning high school.
"YTV's fall slate delivers fresh, fun and innovative series that are connecting with today's kids who seamlessly find shows they love on a full range of platforms," said Colin Bohm, Executive Vice President, Head of Corus Kids. "YTV's new fall campaign, #funexpected, is centred on the cool and zany environment that YTV viewers expect from us."
Long live Saturday morning cartoons. You know those shows that are just too wacky to put into words? YTV has two in store, Pig Goat Banana Cricket and Harvey Beaks. Pig Goat Banana Cricket follows the absurd adventures of four best friends and Harvey Beaks follows a mild-mannered bird and his two wild buddies on a series of hilarious adventures.
The network will also roll out new seasons of returning hit series Bella and the Bulldogs, The Thundermans, Henry Danger and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as well as continuing new episodes of The Stanley Dynamic, Nicky, Ricky, Dicky and Dawn, Game On and Make It Pop.
Rounding out the week is YTV's movie block Big Fun Movies, which continues to be the #1 movie destination for families on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. Fall movie premieres to look forward to include Percy Jackson Sea of Monsters, Epic and Dr. Seuss' The Lorax and more!

100 Things to Do Before High School(26 x 30) – Network Premiere
Premieres: Thursdays at 7 p.m. ET/PT beginning October 8
100 Things to Do Before High School follows the comedic adventures of 12-year old CJ Martin (Isabela Moner) who always dreamed that high school would be the greatest years of her life. Together, they embark on a bucket list of adventures that help them overcome class cliques, terrifying bullies and clueless teachers. For CJ, Fenwick and Crispo growing up means trying everything and taking chances while they still can.
In the special one-hour premiere, the trio set out to conquer each of their biggest fears, and for CJ that means talking to her 8th grade crush. While she plots the perfect scenario for a chance encounter, Crispo must confront his fear of snakes and help Fenwick face his fear of running through the halls with the Pootatuck Bears basketball team. As CJ, Crispo and Fenwick work to move past their phobias, they realize mastering the things on "The List" is always easier with friends by their side. Click here to view the trailer.
