Filming for the season two episode, titled "I Love You, Hunter Hayes", recently wrapped in Los Angeles, California.
Ditching his comfort zone to make his acting debut in the hit Nick sitcom, Hayes filmed his part over two days and will appear in approximately three to four scenes, including one in which he'll perform his latest hit single, "21".
In the episode, high school football star Bella Dawson (Brec Bassinger) is blackmailed by her teammates after skipping a team activity to attend Hayes' concert and faces some consequences.
"Part of it is being myself and the other part is actually doing something with a script," Hayes told Billboard. "The fun thing is, in addition to the music, it's a great chance for me to introduce myself as a person. The character is not far from who I really am. There are some serious parts for the sake of the storyline, but it was fun to just be goofy."
