Clip licensing company Born Licensing has been appointed as the licensing agent for Nickelodeon and Viacom Consumer Products in Australia and New Zealand!
Nickelodeon's animation library includes hits such as "SpongeBob SquarePants", "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", "Dora the Explorer", "The Ren and Stimpy Show", "Rugrats", "Hey Arnold!" and "Rocko's Modern Life".
David Born, owner and director of Born Licensing, has previously worked on the clip licensing business at major global studios across markets including Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Africa and Middle East.
"The popularity of titles such as "SpongeBob SquarePants" and "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" span generations and appeals to audiences of all ages," said Born.
"Nickelodeon's first television audiences in Australia now have families of their own, and today's kids wield incredible influence in household purchasing decisions. There is tremendous value in offering marketers the opportunity to tap into both the nostalgic and current appeal properties past and present within the Nickelodeon portfolio."
Claire O'Connor, director, Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products Australia and New Zealand (NVCP AU/NZ), added: "Nickelodeon's vast library of programming and beloved characters have fans of all ages across Australia and New Zealand.
"With our 20 year history in Australia, there is great potential in collaborating with like-minded brands that celebrate the kid in everyone."
Born Licensing will be meeting with advertising agencies throughout Australia and New Zealand to discuss clip licensing techniques and the portfolio of brands available to work with.
