Nickelodeon’s Worldwide Day of Play is a movement to champion the transformative power of PLAY for kids and families. Partners across the country participate and share in Nickelodeon’s commitment to make communities more playful through sports, recreation, and activities. Nickelodeon encourages kids to use their voice to help make decisions regarding play in their afterschool and recreation programs.
Each year, Nickelodeon's partners hosts over 4,000 play events that enable kids to Get Up, Get Out and Go Play.
