The beverage industry news website Drinks Business Review is reporting the Nickelodeon UK news that Appy Food & Drinks Co. has slightly pushed back the launch of the beverage company's upcoming new Nickelodeon Juice Drink line, which was planned to debut in shops around the UK this month (June 2013), and will now make their new Nick kids juice drink range available in the UK from the end of July 2013, just in time for the school summer holidays!
Additionally, the company has announced it is in plans to produce new flavors in the range later in 2013 and will also be partnering with the popular Nick Jr. UK animated series "Peppa Pig" in 2014. "SpongeBob SquarePants" (Orange & Pineapple flavour) pouches will be available at the end of July 2013, with "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" (Apple & Blackcurrant flavor) pouches being launched in winter 2013. "Dora the Explorer" (Tropical Vitamin Boost flavour) pouches are also planned.
Each juice pouch includes 18 calories and is low in fat, saturated fat, salt and sugar. The new line will be available in 5-pack and 10-pack variations. The juice pouches also contain no artificial preservatives and are the first kids drink to use the recently acclaimed natural sweetener Stevia – a zero calorie ingredient that tastes like sugar, whilst keeping the drink all green on the new incoming drinks traffic light system.
Appy will also be running a competition, with prizes to be won, every week; Prizes will include a range of goodies including: teddy bears, DVDs, stickers, iPods, iPads, passes to Nickelodeon Land for a family of four, and a grand prize of being taken on a cruise holiday on a Nickelodeon cruise line. To enter the competition entrants must scan the props on the back of the juice packages and use them on the Appy Drinks App to customise their own pictures, and then share them via Twitter or Facebook. T&Cs will apply. You can find out more information about Appy Food & Drinks Co.'s upcoming Nickelodeon Juice line here on NickALive!:
