"Submitted for the approval of the Midnight Society..." The Huffington Post has compiled a list which takes a nostalgic look back at some of television's most popular horror anthologies, fantasy serials, and sci-fi shows that gave viewers the creeps and made their nightlights a necessity come time to (try to) sleep, which includes the Classic Nickelodeon favorite Are "You Afraid of the Dark?"!

“Submitted for the approval of the Midnight Society...”

A co-op in creepiness developed by Canada's Cinar and America’s Nickelodeon, this horror-fantasy anthology covered all the bases of children’s scare-bait: ghastly-grinning clowns, demented dolls, and aliens without faces that live on the floor above you. Needless to say, this staple in SNICK’s Saturday night lineup made bedtimes a nightmare for kids all over. Because staying up late on the weekend was the point, right?

Norton asked the father-and-son duo to perform, prompting Will to beatbox while his son rapped.
