Nick at Nite, Nickelodeon USA's nighttime programming block featuring viewer-favorite comedies, have announced the exciting news in a trailer that Nick@Nite will start to air CBS's hit comedy series Mom very soon!
Update (6/1): Nick@Nite will start to air Mom on Monday 11th June 2018! Nick@Nite will air four episodes nightly, at 1:00am, 1:35am, 2:09am and 2:44am (ET/PT), beginning with the pilot episode.
Anna Faris and Emmy Award winner Allison Janney star in this often heart-wrenching comedy from executive producer Chuck Lorre (The Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men, Mike & Molly, Young Sheldon). Christy (Faris) is a single mom who, after years of questionable choices, is now sober and trying to get her life on track. She’s tested daily by her mother, Bonnie (Allison Janney), who Christy still considers the root of her troubles, even though she has also gotten sober. Now mother and daughter are working to overcome their mistakes and build a better future for their family. Christy has gone back to school and is pursuing her dream of becoming a lawyer, while Bonnie attempts to have a healthy romantic relationship with her boyfriend, Adam (William Fichtner, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), and figure out what she wants to be when she grows up. Through all this, Christy and Bonnie rely on their support system from AA, including wise Marjorie (Mimi Kennedy), the wealthy and sometimes misguided Jill (Jaime Pressly) and the overly emotional Wendy (Beth Hall). Together, they help each other stay sober and face whatever life throws at them.
Created by Chuck Lorre, Eddie Gorodetsky & Gemma Baker, Mom is produced by Chuck Lorre Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television, and executive produced by Chuck Lorre, Eddie Gorodetsky, and Nick Bakay (Angry Beavers, Sabrina the Teenage Witch). The series made its premiere on CBS September 23, 2013 and has so far ran for 110 episodes over 5 seasons. A sixth season is in development.
Notable guest stars include: Rosie O'Donnell (Kids' Choice Awards host, Impractical Jokers), Nicole Sullivan (Wendell & Vinnie, The Penguins of Madagascar, The King of Queens), Jon Cryer (Two and a Half Men), Beverly D'Angelo (National Lampoon's Vacation movies), Rhea Perlman (Cheers), Chris Pratt (Parks and Recreation), and Kristen Johnston (3rd Rock from the Sun).
Nick at Nite is Nickelodeon’s nighttime programming block featuring hit family comedies including the newly added The Goldbergs and Two and a Half Men, the Emmy Award-winning series Friends, as well as The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Full House and George Lopez.
Mom has previously aired on CMT, and is also currently airing on the Paramount Network and TVLand.
