YTV, which has been the Canadian home of many Nickelodeon shows over the years, will be celebrating its landmark 30th anniversary on Saturday 1st September 2018, and to celebrate YTV is going retro by reviving its "Keep It Weird" slogan, which the channel used on-air between 1998–2007!

YTV has released a video on their official Facebook page teasing "Keep It Weird", which features a dial-up modem with its infamous 'logging onto the net' sound and a variety of classic YTV logos. The video then directs viewers to YTV's "Keep It Weird" teaser website, keepitweird.ca. Once at the website, viewers are treated to a video loop of throwback YTV logos.
Although its currently unknown what will eventually be featured on YTV's "Keep It Weird" website, the site's teaser splash page has a option to enter a password, which, if you enter any word, reveals that the page is part of a Shopify web store, which could hint that YTV will be releasing a collection of merchandise inspired by its "Keep It Weird" strap line, featuring the channels iconic logos and characters featured in the channels retro bumpers.
