Chromecast is adding seven more great apps to your casting queue. Get bigger laughs with The Daily Show on Comedy Central, learn with Elmo on Sesame Street Go, or cast Nickelodeon and let Spongebob keep your family entertained. And, no matter how far you travel this winter, stay connected with TuneIn for international radio stations and millions of podcasts. With EPIX, YuppTV and ENCORE Play also casting, you have a full lineup of shows, sports, games and movies to last throughout the holiday season.
An immersive branded experience, the Nick App allows Nickelodeon fans to explore a laughter and slime-filled world that showcases content from hit Nickelodeon shows such as "Nicky, Ricky, Dicky and Dawn", "Henry Danger", "The Haunted Hathaways", "The Thundermans", "Sam & Cat", "SpongeBob SquarePants", "Sanjay and Craig" and "Breadwinners". Kids are able to interact with the Nick brand through a moveable tile layout that can be swiped in any direction, promoting discovery and exploration and offering fans instant and on-demand access to Nickelodeon content. The Nick App is the ultimate destination for hilarious original videos, animated shorts, games, full episodes, and more! Plus, look out for the Do Not Touch Button!

The Comedy Central mobile app offers comedy fans the latest episodes of "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart", "The Colbert Report", "South Park" and "@midnight", plus other hit CC shows, including "Tosh.0", "Key & Peele", "Drunk History", "Nathan For You" and much more. You can also kick back with great stand-up specials, archive shows (including Chappelle's Show) and full seasons of returning series.

Chromecast is a digital media player developed by Google. The device, a 2.83-inch (72 mm) HDMI dongle, plays audio/video content on a high-definition display by directly streaming it via Wi-Fi from the Internet or a local network. Users can select the media to play using mobile apps and web apps that support the Google Cast technology. Alternatively, content can be mirrored from the Google Chrome web browser running on a personal computer, as well as from the screen of some Android devices. Chromecast was released for purchase in the USA on Wednesday 24th July 2013. The Google Cast SDK was released on Monday 3rd February 2014, allowing third parties to modify their software to work with Chromecast [Source: Wikipedia].
