Nickelodeon, the number-one entertainment brand for kids and families, has announced and confirmed in the following press release, from TVByTheNumbers.com, the exciting news Nick USA will premiere the first episode of Nickelodeon Preschools brand-new original animated series "Dora and Friends: Into the City!", which stars global phenomenon Dora the Explorer as the Latina heroine sets off on her next big adventure with new friends and features a new interactive curriculum, in primetime on Monday 18th August 2014 at 8:00pm (ET/PT)! Following the series debut, "Dora and Friends" will regularly air weekdays at 12:00pm (ET/PT) during Nickelodeon USA's preschool programming block.

In the series premiere, "Doggie Day", Dora wants to shoot a video to help her friend Alana promote the animal shelter's Doggie Adoption Day. When Dora points her video camera at Cusco, one of the shelter's dogs, he magically starts singing a song about being separated from his brothers. Dora and her friends head out to help Cusco reunite with his family.
To celebrate Nickelodeon USA starting to show the networks all-new animated preschool series "Dora and Friends" from 8/18, Nick USA's publicity office has unveiled two super sneak peek previews of the first episode of "Dora and Friends: Into the City!", "Doggie Day", which you can watch in the online streaming video clips below!
Additionally, Nickelodeon USA has announced in the same press release, below, that, following the "Dora and Friends" premiere, Nick USA will premiere a brand-new episode of Nickelodeon's top-rated preschool series, "PAW Patrol", at 8:30pm (ET/PT)! In the episode, "Pups and the Pirate Treasure", Cap'n Turbot accidentally stumbles into a secret cavern that was once a pirate's hideout. When the PAW Patrol rescues him, they go on a journey to find the missing pieces of a treasure map which leads them to a sunken pirate treasure!
