The entertainment industry news magazine The Hollywood Reporter is reporting the very exciting Nickelodeon News in the following article that Nickelodeon has announced that "Big Time Rush" star and band member Carlos PenaVega will be the host of the networks upcoming brand-new summer game show "Webheads"!
"Webheads", formally titled "Go Viral", is a 40 episode, 30 minute studio-based game show series featuring kid contestants as they compete in elimination challenges revolving around viral videos. Each round will test kids on these laugh-out-loud videos – from predicting outcomes to guessing their popularity as voted by the studio audience.
Nick USA will premiere "Webheads" as part of the networks Summer 2014 programming highlights.

"Big Time Rush's" Carlos PenaVega leads the 40-episode summer series, which has a new name.
Nickelodeon's Ryan Seacrest-backed game show has found its host.
Big Time Rush alum Carlos PenaVega has been tapped to lead the new competition series, which revolves around child contestants competing in challenges centered on viral videos, The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively.
The 40-episode, half-hour summer game show, formerly titled Go Viral, will now be called Webheads.
"I grew up on Nickelodeon game shows and always dreamed of being a contestant," said PenaVega in a statement to THR. "I'm excited to be doing something fun and unique that captures the heart and slime of Nick."
From Ryan Seacrest Productions, Webheads is executive produced by Seacrest and Adam Sher.
The gig keeps PenaVega in the Nickelodeon family, where he was a lead in the music comedy series Big Time Rush from 2009 to 2013.
PenaVega recently wrapped production on the indie La Vida Robot, based on a Wired article about four undocumented Mexican-American high school students who form a robotics club and compete against MIT in a national robotics competition. He is repped by APA, Gem Entertainment Group and manager Gregg Edwards.
