The Fresno Grizzlies to Host Nickelodeon Night featuring PAW Patrol on Friday, August 21, 2020

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno Grizzlies has announced the PAWsome news that baseball team will be hosting a Nickelodeon Night featuring PAW Patrol on Friday, August 21, 2020, when the Grizzlies take on the El Paso Chihuahuas!


Fans are invited to dress up as their favorite Nickelodeon character and take pictures with the Grizzlies' special guests, including character appearances by the PAW Patrol! The Grizzlies' furry friends can't wait to see you at the ballpark! The evening is presented By Fresno Pet ER.

Taking place at the Chukchansi Park, tickets to the ball game are available to purchase now.

Nickelodeon Night featuring PAW Patrol forms part of the Fresno Grizzlies' 2020 promotional schedule. A full list of promotions the Fresno Grizzlies have planned for this year's season can be found at https://www.milb.com/fresno/tickets/promotions.

The Fresno Grizzlies previously hosted a '90s Nickelodeon Night featuring Good Burger in July 2016, which featured a special appearance for Nickelodeon star Kel Mitchell (All That, Kenan & Kel, Game Shakers, Good Burger).

LEXINGTON, Ky. ā€” The Lexington Legends has announced the PAWsome news that the baseball team will be hosting a Nickelodeon Night featuring PAW Patrol on Friday, June 12, 2020, when the Lexington Legends take on the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers! The game will feature special appearances from
Chase and Marshall.


The match will take place at Whitaker Bank Ballpark and will start at 7:05 P.M. The evening is sponsored by Go Red Night.

It'll also be Fri-Yay! at the game. New this season, the Legends are offering $3 Hard Seltzers and $4 Canned Cocktails from the time the gates open until the end of the 1st inning.

Tickets to the game will go on sale on Friday, February 14, 2020.

Nick Jr. has announced the magical news that Jane Lynch will be guest starring in the brand new Bubble Guppies episode "Genie in a Bubble!" In the all new episode, premiering Friday, February 14, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. (ET/PT), Jane voices The Genie, a genie that Nonny, Gil and Zooli conjure up who agrees to grant whoever brings her the most precious gift a wish!


Jane (Glee, Two and a Half Men) is no stranger to Nickelodeon. The actor has previously voiced Victoria Steele on Middle School Moguls and played Sam's mom on iCarly.

Nickelodeonā€™s Emmy Award-winning Bubble Guppies is created and executive-produced by Jonny Belt and Robert Scull and co-developed by Janice Burgess. The interactive CG-animated series is set in a vibrant underwater environment and follows a group of diverse preschoolers with colorful fish tails who go on adventures discovering their world. Bubble Guppies is set to a soundtrack of catchy, educational pop songs and features a curriculum that infuses the core elements of kindergarten readiness, including math, literacy, the arts, science and socio-emotional development. Netflix Acquires 'Thomas & Friends' in the US

The streamer has the rights to seasons 23 and 24 of Mattel Television's Thomas and Friends in the US, first dropping in March. The licensing rights, meanwhile, divert back to Mattel from Nickelodeon.

Netflix has picked up the streaming rights for Mattel Televisionā€™s Thomas and Friends in the US, Kidscreen has revealed. Season 23 will be available on the streamer in March 2020, followed by season 24 later this year.


The Mattel series moved over from PBS to Nick Jr. only two years ago. At the time Mattel and Nickelodeon signed a deal that all new seasons of the series would air on the preschool network and Nick would take over as the brandā€™s exclusive US licensing agent. Nickelodeon in the US will no longer air Thomas and Friends following this deal with Netflix. And the consumer products rights are now back with Mattel as the toy company continues to focus on building franchises.

Internationally, Netflix will have library episodes in Asia (Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Singapore and Vietnam), Canada, Europe (Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Switzerland), Latin America and the United Kingdom. Specific content availability dates will vary by market.

However, Mattel will continue to work with local broadcasters across the globe on a non-exclusive basis to air current seasons. Thomas & Friends currently airs on Milkshake! and Cartoonito in the U.K.

The 23rd season of Thomas consists of 20 x 11-minute eps and three 22-minute specials.

When the series first hit airwaves it was on PBS in 1989 as sequences on Shining Time Station. But it began as a standalone Thomas & Friends half-hour series in 2004 on PBS in the US and only left the pubcaster for Nickelodeon in 2018, ending nearly 30 years of programming on the American pubcaster.

First Look at Patrick Star in 'SpongeBob' Spin-Off 'Kamp Koral'

SpongeBob SquarePants storyboarder John Trabbic III has shared a sneak peek at Kamp Koral, Nickelodeon's upcoming original spinoff series of the network's iconic hit, SpongeBob SquarePants!


The sneak peek, above, is from a storyboard panel of an episode of the series titled "Cabin of Curiosities", and features Patrick pointing at something or someone off-screen. Although John isn't confirming that the panel is from Kamp Koral, the episode has the production code "KK006", which most likely means that it's the sixth episode of the series.


Kamp Koral is a CG-animated series (13 episodes) that introduces 10-year-old SpongeBob SquarePants during his summer at sleepaway camp. The series was greenlit during summer 2019 and commenced production in June 2019 at Nickelodeon Studios in Burbank, California.

In the series, SpongeBob and his pals spend the summer building underwater campfires, catching wild jellyfish, and swimming in Lake Yuckymuck at the craziest camp in the kelp forest, Kamp Koral. The limited series is slated to premiere during summer 2020.

Marc Ceccarelli and Vincent Waller (SpongeBob SquarePants) are co-executive producers on the series.

Nickelodeon's is currently in the midst of the network's "Best Year Ever", a year-long global celebration of one of the most iconic TV series and characters ever created. The ā€œBest Year Everā€ launched with the premiere of ā€œSpongeBobā€™s Big Birthday Blowout,ā€ an original mixed live-action and animated special earlier this summer, and leads up to the Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies theatrical, The SpongeBob Movie: It's a Wonderful Sponge, coming May 2020.

A new home in the city holds big adventures, laughs and love around every corner in The Casagrandes, and this February half-term, Nicktoons UK & Ireland will be treating fans to a super sneak-peek of Nickelodeonā€™s new original animated series!

A spinoff of Nickā€™s animated hit The Loud House, The Casagrandes tells the story of 11-year-old Ronnie Anne who moves to the city with her mom and older brother to live with their big, loving family, the Casagrandes.

After moving in with their grandparents in Great Lakes City, Ronnie Anne adjusts to her new life living under one roof and over the family-run mercado (local market), which is a gathering place for everyone in the neighborhood. The series showcases the culture, humor, and love thatā€™s part of growing up in a multigenerational Mexican-American family.

Nicktoons UK & Ireland will air a sneak-peek of The Casagrandes on Monday 17th February 2020 at 9:00 a.m.. Following its debut, Nicktoons will encore the special preview throughout the February 2020 school holidays.

Following the preview, Nicktoons UK & Ireland will fully premiere The Casagrandes on Monday 24th February 2020, with new episodes airing weekdays at 8:30am. Each all new episode will encore the same day at 1:00pm, 5:00pm, 7:30pm and 4:00am. The series will also air on Nickelodeon, weekdays at 9:30am.

The Casagrandes stars Izabella Alvarez (Westworld) as 11-year-old Ronnie Annie, Carlos PenaVega (Big Time Rush) as her brother Bobby and Sumalee Montano (Nashville) as her mom Maria. Alvarez, PenaVega and Montano bring these characters to life, alongside: Carlos Alazraqui (The Fairly OddParents) as Carlos, ā€œTio;ā€ Roxana Ortega (The League) as Frida, ā€œTia;ā€ Alexa PenaVega (Spy Kids) as Carlota; Jared Kozak (Born this Way) as CJ; Alex Cazares (The Boss Baby: Back in Business) as Carl; Ruben Garfias (East Los High) as Hector, ā€œAbuelo;ā€ and Sonia Manzano (Sesame Street) as Rosa, ā€œAbuela.ā€ Additionally, Eugenio Derbez (Dora and the Lost City of Gold) gives voice to Dr. Santiago, a physician living and working in Peru, who is Ronnie Anne and Bobbyā€™s father.

Ronnie Anneā€™s new apartment building holds new friends and neighbors, including: Ken Jeong (Dr. Ken) as Stanley Chang; Melissa Joan Hart (Clarissa Explains It All, Sabrina the Teenage Witch) as Becca Chang; Leah Mei Gold (Legion) as 12-year-old Sid Chang, Ronnie Anneā€™s new friend; and Lexi Sexton as Adelaide Chang, Sidā€™s 6-year-old little sister.

In the first episode, ā€œGoing Overboard,ā€ Ronnie Anne finds out her Tio Carlos was a famous skateboarder and she begs him to teach her some new moves. Then, in ā€œWalk Donā€™t Run,ā€ Ronnie Anne and Sid start a dog-walking business to save up for a new skateboard in a plan that quickly gets out of hand.

The Casagrandestheme song is performed by pop star Ally Brooke.

The Casagrande family was first introduced in the The Loud House special, ā€œThe Loudest Mission: Relative Chaos,ā€ which premiered in on Nickelodeon USA on May 2017 and ranks as the highest-rated premiere for the series in Live+7 with both K2-11 (6.6/1.8M) and K6-11 (8.1/1.3M).

The Casagrandes made its world premiere on Nickelodeon in the U.S. on Monday, October 14, at 1:30 p.m. (ET/PT). Following its launch, the popular series has spawned a podcast, The Casagrandes Familia Sounds and vlog series.


The Casagrandes is produced by Nickelodeon in Burbank, Calif. The series is executive produced by Michael Rubiner (The Loud House), with Karen Malach (The Loud House) serving as producer, Alan Foreman as supervising producer and Miguel Puga as supervising director. Award-winning cartoonist Lalo Alcaraz (Coco) serves as consulting producer and cultural consultant.

Nickelodeon Adds Three Senior Animation Executives

Nickelodeon is bolstering its executive team in its Animation Studio headquarters. Hired in the newly created senior positions are former Fox Animation executive Darlene CaamaƱo Loquet as Senior Vice President (SVP) of Nickelodeon Movies; former 20th Century Fox TV SVP casting Liz Paulson as SVP of Nickelodeon Animation Casting & Talent Development; and former Walt Disney Animation Studios executive Camille Eden as Vice President (VP) of Nickelodeon Recruiting and Talent Development. All will be based at the network's Burbank, California headquarters and will report to Ramsey Naito, Executive Vice President (EVP) of Nickelodeon Animation Studios. All three officially began in their new roles earlier this week.


ā€œNickelodeon Animation is focused on three vital elements to drive our business forwardā€”building the culture, developing talent and creating great animated content for kids and families everywhereā€”and Darlene, Liz and Camille are the perfect leaders to bring our creative-lead mission into the future,ā€ said Naito.

In the newly created roles, CaamaƱo Loquet will oversee Nickelodeonā€™s movie business, building and managing a slate of content for features and SVOD services. Paulson will run animation casting and talent development for the animation studio which will include development and current series productions, movies and short form content; and Eden will lead the recruitment for the animation studio, finding and placing new talent that will help develop a growing slate of series and feature productions.

CaamaƱo Loquet recently served as Vice President of production at Fox Animation, where she brought in and packaged several projects including National Book Award winner The Girl Who Drank the Moon, the New York Times bestselling trilogy Zita the Space Girl, as well as Eisner Award winning graphic novel Nimona, currently in production at Blue Sky Studios, on which she also served as Producer. Prior to joining Fox Animation, CaamaƱo Loquet served as President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of NALA Films, producing notable projects such as The Bling Ring; Decoding Deepak; Casa De Mi Padre; In The Valley of Elah and Dan in Real Life. She began her executive career at DreamWorks Animation/Patchwork Productions.

Paulson has spent the past 20 years in the field of casting in the television arena until leaving the studio last fall. Most recently, she served as SVP of Casting at 20th Century Fox Television, overseeing scripted and animation television projects including American Horror Story, 9-1-1, Empire, Bobā€™s Burgers, Bless The Harts and Fresh off the Boat, among others. Paulson began her career in the commercial landscape and is a founding partner of Mel & Liz Casting, a commercial casting company that works with a variety of high-profile television and feature directors.

Most recently, Eden oversaw the recruitment and outreach strategy at Walt Disney Animation Studios. Her credits include Frozen 2, Ralph Breaks the Internet, Moana, Zootopia, Big Hero 6, Frozen and Wreck-it Ralph. In 2004, Eden joined DreamWorks Animation on their first CG feature, Shark Tale. The following year, she transitioned from production to talent acquisitions/talent management working at Sony Pictures Imageworks recruiting for visual effects and animated features, as well as, spearheading efforts for satellite offices in Bristol, England, Albuquerque and Vancouver. In 2006, Eden joined Framestore, London to oversee recruitment for their first feature, The Tale of Despereaux, as well as, The Quantum of Solace, The Golden Compass, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Wanted.

Darlene CaamaƱo Loquet, Liz Paulson, and Camille Eden join studio in newly created roles to oversee movies, casting and talent development, and recruitment.

BURBANK ā€” Expanding its efforts to increase feature film development and production, Nickelodeon has just appointed three executives to newly created senior positions in its Burbank animation studio headquarters. The new hires include: Darlene CaamaƱo Loquet, named Senior Vice President of Nickelodeon Movies; Liz Paulson, named Senior Vice President of Nickelodeon Animation Casting & Talent Development; and Camille Eden, named Vice President of Nickelodeon Recruiting and Talent Development. The announcement was made today by Ramsey Naito, Executive Vice President of Nickelodeon Animation Studios, to whom the three will report.

According to Naito, ā€œNickelodeon Animation is focused on three vital elements to drive our business forwardā€”building the culture, developing talent and creating great animated content for kids and families everywhereā€”and Darlene, Liz and Camille are the perfect leaders to bring our creative-lead mission into the future.ā€

CaamaƱo Loquet will oversee Nickelodeonā€™s movie business, building and managing a slate of content for features and SVOD services. Paulson will run animation casting and talent development for the animation studio, which will include development and current series productions, movies and short form content; and Eden will lead the recruitment for the animation studio, finding and placing new talent that will help develop a growing slate of series and feature productions.

CaamaƱo Loquet recently served as Vice President of Production at Fox Animation, where she brought in and packaged several projects including National Book Award winner The Girl Who Drank the Moon, the New York Times Bestselling trilogy Zita the Space Girl, as well as Eisner Award winning graphic novel NIMONA, currently in production at Blue Sky Studios, on which she also served as producer. Prior to joining Fox Animation, CaamaƱo Loquet served as President and COO of NALA Films, producing notable projects: The Bling Ring; Decoding Deepak; Casa De Mi Padre; In The Valley of Elah and Dan in Real Life. Darlene began her executive career at DreamWorks Animation / Patchwork Productions.

Paulson has spent the past 20 years in the field of casting, discovering emerging talent and aligning high-end talent in the television arena. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President of Casting at 20th Century Fox Television, overseeing scripted and animation television projects including; American Horror Story, 9-1-1, Empire, Bobā€™s Burgers, Bless The Harts and Fresh off the Boat, among others. Paulson began her career in the commercial landscape and is a founding partner of Mel & Liz Casting, a commercial casting company that works with a variety of high-profile television and feature directors. In October 2015, Variety honored Paulson as one of Hollywoodā€™s New Leaders.

Most recently, Eden oversaw the recruitment and outreach strategy at Walt Disney Animation Studios. Her credits include; Frozen 2, Ralph Breaks the Internet, Moana, Zootopia, Big Hero 6, Frozen and Wreck-it Ralph. In 2004, Eden joined DreamWorks Animation on their first CG feature, Shark Tale. The following year, she transitioned from production to talent acquisitions/talent management working at Sony Pictures Imageworks recruiting for visual effects and animated features, as well as, spearheading efforts for satellite offices in Bristol, England, Albuquerque and Vancouver. In 2006, Eden joined Framestore, London to oversee recruitment for their first feature, The Tale of Despereaux, as well as, The Quantum of Solace, The Golden Compass, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Wanted.

'90s 'All That' Stars Alisa Reyes and Lori Beth Denberg to Revive 'The Island Girls' Sketch on This Saturday's New Episode

OG All That cast members Alisa Reyes and Lori Beth Denberg are set to guest star on this Saturday's brand new episode of Nickelodeon's freshly revived All That!


The brand new episode will see Denberg and Reyes revive their beloved "The Island Girls" sketch, in which they play Fran and Kiki, respectively. The skit revolves around two girls who are stranded on a deserted island after Kiki's boat collided with Fran's boat, as seen in the theme song, which was a spoof of Gilligan's Island.

Fran desperately wants to escape the island and often devised ways to reach civilization. Unfortunately, the happy-go-lucky (and not-so-bright) Kiki would constantly end up ruining Fran's ideas. Occasionally, visitors would come to the island such as a group of pirates (played by Angelique Bates and Josh Server) looking for buried treasure, natives from a neighboring island (played by Kel Mitchell and Josh Server) looking for human sacrifices to give to their sacred hamster, three-armed aliens (played by Kenan Thompson and Josh Server) who are visiting Earth, and Kiki's sister Didi (played by Katrina Johnson) who has the same personality as her sister. Fran would always hope to escape with them only to see them driven away by Kiki's silly actions. The sketch always ended with Kiki singing her "Forever and Ever" song and Fran knocking herself unconscious so that she wouldn't have to hear Kiki sing.

Alisa Reyes mentioned at the 2011 Comikazee Panel that "The Island Girls" was her favorite All That sketch.

Both Denberg and Reyes, along with fellow legacy cast members Kel Mitchell, Kenan Thompson and Josh Server have previously made cameos on Nickelodeon's refreshed All That, which premiered on Nickelodeon USA on Saturday, June 15, 2020. The series is currently rolling out onto Nickelodeon channels globally.


Nickelodeon's all new All That stars a new group of kids, billed as the "New Kids of Comedy": Ryan Alessi, Reece Caddell, Kate Godfrey, Gabrielle Green, Nathan Janak, Lex Lumpkin, Chinguun Sergelen, and Aria Brooks.
