Hey Brooklyn, do you have it? GUTS! On Wednesday, August 12th the Brooklyn Cyclones and Nickelodeon will join forces for the 90s Nickelodeon Night, celebrating Guts, the extreme sports competition that dominated the decade. So grab your slap bracelets and Furby, put the Crystal Pepsi on ice and get ready to go back in time!

The design is reminiscent of a trapper keeper mixed with the glow in the dark stars we all had on the ceiling of our bedrooms at one point, or the background of a middle school photo that makes you shake your head when you look at it now…come on what's more 90s than that?

ToonZone Forums member 'Pac-Attack' is reporting the Turtley Awesome news that Nickelodeon USA's animation and action channel, Nicktoons USA, is planning to premiere the currently un-aired "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" (2003) episode "Insane in the Membrane" on Sunday 2nd August 2015 at 3:00pm ET/PT!


"Insane in the Membrane" (S04E19) was originally due to premiere in the USA on 4th March 2006 as part of 4Kids Entertainment's "4Kids TV" programming block on FOX, but, as the content of the episode was deemed too graphic in nature and disturbing, horrifying FOX executives, the episode never made it to air in the USA. However, the episode did air internationally, including in the UK and in Australia.

Although currently unaired in the US, 4KidsTV later made "Insane in the Membrane" available to stream on their official website and on DVD.

To celebrate Nickelodeon USA starting to premiere and show Nickelodeon's brand-new original comedy series "Game Shakers" from September 2015, Nickelodeon and Schneider's Bakery have announced on their official "Game Shakers"Twitter and Facebook pages the exciting news that the cast and crew from Nick's all-new sitcom will be visiting VidCon 2015 on Saturday 25th July 2015!


As part of the shows appearance at VidCon 2015, fans will be able to meet and greet NicKELodeon legend and the rest of the cast of "Game Shakers", plus have the chance to play the game featured in the series, "Sky Whale"!

Additionally, as Nickelodeon is the Arcade Sponsor at the 6th Annual VidCon, one of the main stages will be called the "Nickelodeon Arcade Stage", which could be a tribute to the classic Nickelodeon game show "Nick Arcade"!

Tangerine Confectionery has teamed up with Nickelodeon and Viacom Consumer Products (NVCP) UK for the first time to launch a mouth-watering range of "SpongeBob SquarePants" and "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" sweets!

The supplier will start rolling out limited-edition Wham and Fruit Salad sharing bag ranges inspired by the hit Nickelodeon characters this month, describing the launch as "the start of a fruitful relationship" with the entertainment giant.


Wham Mini Chews have been rebranded as Turtley Awesome "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Power Chews" (rsp: £1.49/180g) and feature the Heroes in a Half Shell: Leonardo as Sour Blue Raspberry flavour, Raphael as Strawberry, Donatello as Wham Original and Michelangelo as 'Brew' flavour.

Fruit Salad is getting a Sponge-Tastic Bikini Bottom makeover, with the sharing bag (rsp: £1.49/180g) featuring SpongeBob as Original flavour, Squidward as Kiwi & Melon, Mr. Krabs in Strawberry & Rhubarb, and Patrick in Apple & Blackcurrant flavour.

Nickelodeon Netherlands And Nickelodeon Belgium To Air "Raveleijn" From Saturday 1st August 2015

Nickelodeon Netherlands (Nederland) and Nickelodeon Belgium (België; Flanders) have announced the exciting Nickelodeon International news on their official websites, Nickelodeon.nl and Nickelodeon.be, that they will start to show "Raveleijn", a new 12-part adventure drama television series, from Saturday 1st August 2015 at 11:10am!


"Raveleijn" follows the Woudenberg family, who have just moved from the city into a magical forest.


The adventure begins when the parents of Thomas, Maurits, Joost and twins Emma and Lisa surprise the kids with a visit to Ravenhorst. However, it turns out that their parents have another surprise for them - they have just bought an old inn in the forest of Ravenhorst to start a vineyard there! The kids are not happy about their parents decision and are disappointed that the decision is final. At their new home, Thomas the eldest feels his life is shattered, whilst second son Maurits soon settles into his new life and their youngest brother Joost enjoys playing in the wood. The family also have trouble with the local villagers, who look at them with suspicion, wanting to know why the family moved there.


Whilst looking in the forest one day, a Raven leads the kids to a mysterious ancient city gate, which features a cryptic text chiselled into it: "Raveleijn, waar raven ruiters zullen zijn" ("Raveleijn, where Raven riders will be"). Unbeknownst to the kids, the gate is magical!

When the Raven tempts the children to go through the gate, and the magic begins. The gate is a magic portal to a different world that transforms the kids into mounted riders and the Ravens into black Horses!


At the end of the portal, the children find the ancient city of Raveleijn, which is ruled by Count Olaf Grafhart, who rules the land with a iron fist and has oppressed its residents by building Graffers, monstrous creatures with steel jaws made from samples of iron, wood and leather. Hidden in the woods outside the city walls are some secret caves, inhabited by exiles of Raveleijn. These exiles form the Orde van de Raven, the Order of the Raven, formed in secret by Halina Grafhart, the wife of Count Olaf Grafhart.

When the children encounter the Order of the Raven, they tell them about a mysterious prophecy that five riders will come to save the people of Raveleijn. Thomas also meets Samuel's daughter, Samira, whom he quickly falls in love with.


The children soon realise that they are the Chosen Five, and the exiles help them develop special powers based on the elements of fire, wood, metal, water and earth.

After their brief training by the exiles they move to the city of Raveleijn to go to war against the Count. Along the way they must battle with the monsters built by the residents of Raveleijn to keep the Count in power. The kids eventually reach the Five ramparts (de Vijf de stadswallen), where the Guardians of Count Olaf await them. After a violent confrontation with Graffers and hordes of Birds, which they first use their developed gifts, they eventually come face to face with the Terrible Graaf. The Graaf has a huge surprise up his sleeve, and ignites a battle to the death.


To celebrate Nickelodeon Netherlands and Nickelodeon Belgium, collectively known as Nickelodeon Benelux, starting to air "Raveleijn" from Saturday 1st August 2015, Nickelodeon.nl and Nickelodeon.be have launched their official "Raveleijn" websites, which feature fantastic photos gallery's full of stills from the series!

"Raveleijn" is based on the popular Ravelin attraction at Efteling, the largest amusement park in the Netherlands, and the hit book written by children's author Paul van Loon in co-operation with Efteling.

The Stockport, UK-Based licensing business Character World has launched an exclusive bedding and accessories range featuring Nickelodeon's popular CG-animated preschool series "Paw Patrol"!


Conceived by Keith Chapman, creator of "Bob the Builder", "Paw Patrol" has quickly become one of the top preschool properties in the market.

Character World has launched a full "Paw Patrol" range including junior and single duvets sets, towels, ponchos, toddler beds and cushions. The products are available to retailers across the UK!

The action adventure pre-school property, which launched in 2013, stars a pack of seven heroic rescue pups – Chase, Marshall, Rocky, Rubble, Zuma, Skye and Everest - who are led by a tech-savvy boy named Ryder. Together they work hard to show the people of Adventure Bay that "no job is too big, no pup is too small!" The series attracts huge TV audiences and mass consumer product sales.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--A lineup of sports superstars including members of the U.S. Women's National Soccer team, Derek Jeter, Stephen Curry, Carmelo Anthony, Marshawn Lynch, DeMarco Murray, show host Russell Wilson and more helped Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Sports 2015 score a ratings victory for its Thursday, July 16, (8-9:30 p.m. ET/PT) telecast.

Nick's slime-filled celebration of sports won the night with kids 2-11 and kids 6-11, while also posting double-digit year over year increases with kids 2-11 and total viewers. Kids' Choice Sports 2015, which was simulcast across Nick at Nite, Nicktoons, TeenNick and TV Land, averaged 2.5M total viewers (+10%) and earned a 4.4/1.3M with Kids 2-11 (+15%) and a 5.6/1.0M with Kids 6-11 (+10%).

Hosted by Russell Wilson (Super Bowl-winning Seattle Seahawks Quarterback), the awards were broadcast live from UCLA's Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles where kids honored their favorite athletes, teams and sports moments from the year in one big, slimy sports celebration.

Five-time World Series Champion Derek Jeter was honored with the Legend Award at this year's show in recognition of his unmatched talent and sportsmanship on and off the field. Upon receiving his golden mohawked blimp, Jeter was showered from head to toe in gold slime falling from a New York Yankees sign high above the stage.

Call for Global Submissions Open Now through Sept. 14, 2015


Los Angeles-(July 22, 2015)- Nickelodeon, the number-one entertainment brand for kids, and Get Schooled, a national non-profit co-founded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Viacom, are giving one skilled and innovative young animator the chance to win a $25,000 scholarship through the inaugural "What's Your Nickfluence?" Animation Challenge. The open call for original animated shorts is open now through Sept. 14, 2015, and marks the first-ever animation scholarship program between the two organizations, which will help elevate and support the brightest up and coming animators by giving them an opportunity to submit their story.

"What's Your Nickfluence?" Animation Challenge is a global short film competition which gives eligible participants the opportunity to create an original, Nick-inspired short film - no longer than three (3) minutes - that celebrates Nickelodeon's past and present shows and brand, and how these influenced the applicant's art, childhood and life.

The scholarship opportunity is open to 17-24 year-old college students in which applicants will be required to submit an animated short in any format. Realizing that talent is found across all age ranges and in all corners of the globe, 13-17 year-old high school students are also invited to submit a short in any format for the chance to win a Wacom Cintiq 13HD Interactive Pen Display, along with a one year subscription for Adobe Creative Cloud services. All applicants must submit their entries in accordance with the submission process described in the below link, comply with all official rules, and provide satisfactory verification of age and school status.

Following the entry period, finalists will be selected by a panel of judges, and the top entries in each of the two age categories will be announced November 2015 as finalists. From Sept. 28, 2015 through Nov. 15, 2015 fans will have the chance to vote for their favorite "People's Choice" short at Get Schooled.com. There will be one winner in the college category and five winners in the high school category, who will be announced in November 2015, along with the "People's Choice" short winner. Burbank, Calif. – July 22, 2015Nickelodeon has named James Stephenson to the newly created position of Senior Vice President, Animation and Games, adding animation production and development to his current responsibilities of digital content creation. Stephenson will be based at Nickelodeon's animation studio in Burbank, Calif., reporting to Russell Hicks, President, Content Development and Production, Nickelodeon Group.


In this new role, Stephenson will guide current series creative and also have oversight of day-to-day operations for animation development, short form, series, and games, ushering in a new production model for the studio focused on expanding Nickelodeon's development and production capabilities.

"James' outstanding track record for producing highly successful content across all of Nickelodeon's screens makes him the perfect addition to the Nickelodeon animation team, as we take a more holistic approach to the development process, said Hicks. "His keen eye for identifying unique ideas and innate strategic mindset will be a huge asset as we continue to expand and evolve our animation pipeline."

Most recently, Stephenson served as Senior Vice President of Content Development, Digital Media. He was responsible for the creative development of original content for Nickelodeon's digital destinations, including Nick's websites, Apps, digital platforms and premium games publishing businesses. Under his leadership, the network launched its first-ever original digital series, Welcome to the Wayne, which subsequently has been greenlit for television after a successful run on the network's digital platforms.

Stephenson joined Nickelodeon in 2008, as Senior Vice President, Creative Director, Digital; overseeing creative development for all digital media including online, mobile and console/handheld platforms.

In this brand-new series, teenage Guardians will oversee young witches - and wizards - in-training at a magical academy. There, the Guardians will have to decide who is friend, and who is foe. The series is created by Catharina Ledeboer and is produced by Viacom International. The W.I.T.s Academy is executive produced by Tatiana Rodriguez ("Talia in the Kitchen"). "The W.I.T.s Academy" will premiere on Nick USA as part of the networks 2015-2016 programming highlights.

Nickelodeon Germany And Nickelodeon Switzerland To Premiere "Winx Club" Season 7 On Monday 10th August 2015

Nickelodeon Germany has announced the exciting Nickelodeon International news on their "Nick Pressecenter" that Nickelodeon Germany and Nickelodeon Switzerland will start to premiere and show the brand-new seventh season of the popular animated series "Winx Club" weekdays from Monday 10th August 2015!

UPDATE: Nickelodeon Poland will also debut on "Winx Club" Season 7 on Monday 10th August 2015!


Nickelodeon Germany (Deutschland) will debut each brand-new episode at 8:00am, Nickelodeon Switzerland (Swiss/Schweiz) will premiere each brand-new episode at 7:55am, and Nickelodeon Poland (Polska) will air each brand-new episode at 2.30pm!

Although not confirmed, it is expected that other Nickelodeon channels around Northern Europe will debut "Winx Club" season 7 around the same time.

Below is a list of currently announced premiere dates and descriptions (in German) for each brand-new "Winx Club" season 7 episode on Nickelodeon Germany and Nickelodeon Switzerland, via fernsehserien.de:

Monday 10th August 2015 - Der Alfea-Naturpark (The Alfea Natural Park): Faragonda verbringt mit den Winx einen Nachmitag im Alfea-Naturpark. Plötzlich dringt ein bösartiger Greifvogel in den Park ein und entführt den Maubuddel – den letzten seiner Art.

Tuesday 11th August 2015 - Die jungen Feen werden erwachsen (Young Fairies Grow Up): Um die Maubuddel vor dem Aussterben zu bewahren reisen die Winx in die Vergangenheit zurück, in der es noch zahlreiche Maubuddel gegeben hat. Faragonda gibt ihnen für ihre Zeitreise den Stein der Erinnerungen.

Wednesday 12th August 2015 - Butterflix: Die Winx reisen zurück in die frühere Alfea-Schule. Sie treffen dort auf Kalshara, eine Formwandlerin, die versucht die Ultimative Macht der Feentiere zu erlangen. Die Winx brauchen eine neue Verwandlungsfähigkeit – Butterflix!

Thursday 13th August 2015 - Die erste Farbe des Universums (The First Color of the Universe): Zurück in der Gegenwart wird eine große Eröffnungsparty des Alfea-Naturparks gefeiert. ABer der böse Brafilius, der auch auf der Suche nach der ersten Farbe des Universums ist, stört die Feier.

Friday 14th August 2015 - Ein Freund aus der Vergangenheit (A Friend From the Past): Mit dem Stein der Erinnerungen reisen die Winx in frühe Vorzeiten udn suchen dort nach dem Tier mit der ersten Farbe des Universums. Sie begegnen einen merkwürdigen Wesen – Squonk, das sich mit Layla verbindet.

Monday 17th August 2015 - Abenteuer in Lynphea (Adventure on Lynphea): Roxy bittet die Winx die Magiwölfe zu retten, die auf Lynphea leben. Die Winx werden während ihrer Rettungsaktion von giftigen Pilzen angegriffen, deren Sporen ihnen ihre Kräfte rauben.

Tuesday 18th August 2015 - Vorsicht vor dem Wolf (Beware Of the Wolf): Die Winx sind in Schwierigkeiten, doch Miele, Floras Schwester kann sie mit einem Gegengift retten. Bevor sie sich um die Magiwölfe kpmmern, rettet Flora die Natur mit ihren neuen Butterflix-Kräften. Flora verbindet sich mit Amarok.

Wednesday 19th August 2015 - Zurück im Mittelalter (Back In the Middle Ages): (Episode description to be announced)

Monday 24th August 2015 - Mission im Dschungel: Roxy hat eine neue Mission für die Winx. Im Sumatra-Dschungel werden Tiger von formwandel-verzauberten Monstern gejagt. Die Winx führen die Monster zu einer Quelle Ungebändigter Magie. In Gardenia ist ein Tierpark geplant.

Tuesday 25th August 2015 - Ein Feentier für Tecna: Im technomagischen Herzen von Tecnas Heimat hat Brafilius böse Pläne, um Zenith zu zerstören. Um die Techhörnchen und ihren Planeten zu retten, muss Tecna auf Zenith wieder Harmonie einkehren lassen.

Wednesday 26th August 2015 - Das Geheimnis des Einhorns: Die Winx reisen nach China, um Pandas vor einer formgewandelten Kreatur zu retten. Es stellt sich heraus, dass diese ein verzaubertes Einhorn ist. Um die böse Magie zu besiegen, muss sich Bloom mit dem Einhorn verbinden und kann es retten.

Nickelodeon Films Pilot In The UK For Potential Brand-New Show "Diary of a Snob"

Nickelodeon has filmed a pilot for a potential brand-new series called "Diary of a Snob", based on the tenth and eleventh books from columnist, author and broadcaster Grace Dent!


Not much information is currently known about "Diary of a Snob", however, the pilot was filmed in the UK and was produced by Buccaneer Media for Nickelodeon and directed by Dominic Brigstocke ("I'm Alan Partridge", "Smack the Pony"), with Charles Harrison serving as Producer, Susannah Binding as Script Supervisor, Helen Woolfenden as Costume Designer and Tim Dickel as Production Designer. Not much information is currently known about the cast, but actor Vauxhall Jermaine plays a juggler in the pilot.

It is also currently unknown whether the pilot was commissioned by Nickelodeon UK for local audiences, such as "Renford Rejects", "Genie in the House" and "Summer In Transylvania", or Nickelodeon USA for a global audience, such as "House of Anubis".

Although is currently not known whether Nickelodeon has commissioned a full series of "Diary of A Snob", it is expected to be available for distribution by

Nickelodeon acquired the TV development rights to the book "Diary of a Snob"in 2011.

Buccaneer Media is a London-based production company created by TV drama producer Tony Wood, an executive producer on "House of Anubis", and Canada's Cineflix Media.

Nickelodeon And Nintendo Partner For Customized Console Themes

Nickelodeon and Nintendo have partnered to outfit select Nintendo gaming consoles with customized backgrounds starring popular Nickelodeon characters!


Users will be able to personalize their Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo 2DS and New Nintendo 3DS, choosing varying themes for their home menus. The customizations will also include icons and sound effects based on the hit Nickelodeon properties. Characters featured include SpongeBob SquarePants and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.


The new themes will be available in Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Greece and South Africa.
